@older1sttime_mom2b It is 1,000% normal to feel overwhelmed and anxious! I was on a work call talking to someone earlier this week and they asked how the pregnancy hormones are going. You know what, I hadn't even considered them?? I've been assuming all my tears and highs/lows were the fault of, you know, the global effing pandemic going on, but we deserve extra grace (at least from ourselves) right now. Last night I cried on the toilet for I don't know why and went to bed at 8:30. That's OK.
@wednesdaygirl1019 Everything @riatortillaxo said. I was pretty stressed about finding a pediatrician and did the whole tour thing, but it wasn't all that helpful. We weren't able to meet any of the doctors, and a lot of the practice-wide questions you'll have (what is appointment availability, is the front desk friendly, how often do they run behind) you'll just have to answer with time. All we needed to do was have a name for the hospital following delivery, and then we called the pediatrician (first official contact other than the group tour, which involved no paperwork) the day we were sent home for the hospital to make an appointment a couple days later.
