@gingermama29 ME TOO ME TOO!!!! I mean, I legit was reading what you just said going "how do you NOT have a stock of chocolate chips and cocoa powder in your house?!?" Almost disowned you from the chocoholics club, but you redeemed yourself by sending DH to the store for chocolate! I made mine in mini loaves this last time so I could freeze them (the recipe freezes SO well), and pull them out one at a time (cause my DH is stupid and doesn't eat super chocolaty things really ::disowned::).
This might be my new favorite baby blanket pattern! It looks much harder and more time-consuming than it actually is. 💙 I can't decide if I want to make it in mint green or pale yellow next.
I also found a pattern for a stuffed Baby Yoda which I already started! Unfortunately he will be naked for a while because I had to order the yarn for his robe. And he's going to need eyes, so I'll order buttons for that. This will be the first toy I've made. I will post pick when it looks like something other than a mass of green yarn.
FRIENDS!!!!! I’m back!!!! I’ve spent the past 3 weeks working almost round the clock on face masks, and I am thrilled to report I am done and I mailed them out this morning!
Without further ado, I give you this photo of my dining room table literally covered in double layer face masks.

@capnjackharkness That is what 200 face masks looks like, my dear friend. I also made 20 personal ones for the family too. TW but I don't mind telling you that I sobbed when I had to sew child-sized ones for my niece and nephew. I cannot believe that this is where we are right now.

@mvt2003 I used this pattern, except didn't include the pipecleaner. (friend who used the pattern first said the pipecleaner made it awkward... and we found it worked well without it) Has a pocket to add a filter. I'm not sure how long it took since other than the first one (which was so long ago now...) I made them in bulk. So like 3 hours for about 10 or so of them, including the cutting of materials and everything? Some I made with ties instead of elastic, so that added time too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNX0cRrYj6U&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR3bmgp1mFXBahrEvT5lwys3T37BhE5AUoqrHOtCIk8oU3HKQsIg4-1e7tg

@capnjackharkness it's a knit pattern. I only know single crochet so far. Baby Yoda is also knit. I only have the basic body done. I haven't stuffed it yet to shape the head so right now it looks like a green knit condom. 😐
@mvt2003 that is an amazing number of masks! Well done, friend!
