Hello everyone! I’m due 10-28 with baby #2 and I’m still in shock! It took us 5 years and 3 rounds of IVF to get our son who is now 3 and last year we had 3 failed frozen embryo transfers. The last frozen embryo actually worked but we had a miscarriage around 8 weeks this past December. It was devastating. Fast forward to early March I realized I hadn’t had a period since late January and sure enough we were pregnant! I’m a former teacher, currently stay at home mom and my husband is part owner/manager for an eye care practice. We live in Lancaster, PA.
welcome @kmkernisky! you'll be in my birth week group (10/22 here)! come on in to the weekly check-in post, the water's fine.
Current pregnancy - First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.
Hello everyone I’m late! But I am 22yr. old and expecting twins 10/11. A little nervous because I previously had a stillborn at 24 weeks, we are praying for a healthy pregnancy and L&D. Good luck everyone!
Hi there! 32 yr old first timer here! My EDD is October 4th. Can’t wait for the little peanut to make its arrival! We had been trying/not really trying since July of 2019. After getting pretty sick and just not feeling myself, I peed on three pregnancy tests and figured they weren’t lying. Lol! I don’t really have anyone close to me that’s pregnant and I’m just kinda researching myself to death to make sure everything is going as it should.
@sboley87 welcome! You'll be in the Week 1 checkin - stop in and say hi if you haven't already.

Hey everybody! I'm a 34 year old mom of one with baby number 2 on the way. We had been TTC for 2 years and were seeing a fertility specialist to being treatments when it happened naturally, such a miracle. EDD is October 12 and we have our send OB appointment next week. This will be my husbands first natural child, he claims my son as his and they are two peas in a pod. This will also be his parents first natural grandchild, they claim my son as theirs as well but neither my husband or his brother have had kids of their own blood as they are the good men raising those that they gained by relationships.

Hi everyone. I'm 30 yrs old with baby #3 on the way. My ds is 4 and my dd is 3. This baby was very much a surprise as my husband was supposed to get a vasectomy lol. We are very excited for our new addition. Even though it's our 3rd baby I'm still nervous for this one. My EDD is Oct 30th.
I am due 10/15 on my dad's birthday with the first grandbaby! I found out week 3 and 6 days by peeing on a stick. Had implantation bleeding which was not something I expected. Thanks to Google I learned why my "period" was early, short and light. It was our third month TTC. So we've been pretty lucky!
I am high risk and am in Chicago. I've been afraid to get too excited until hitting week 12 this past Thursday, so finally introducing myself!
Hello my name is K. Cummings and this is my first pregnancy. I am excited for this new journey, even though morning sickness (all day sickness) hasn’t been great! My EDD is Oct. 26 and I’m just here for any advice or great info some of you might have! I literally took about 5 pregnancy test because I was so in shock! I just told my husband right away because it wasn’t expected at all! But I am very excited!
welcome @kjcummings! you'll be in the Week 4+ group - come say hi when you get a chance!

Hi mamas! This old, rusty gal is back after a very long hiatus. CliffsNotes version: DS is 9 (no issue conceiving), we TTC for #2 for about a year and a half back in 2015/2016, took lots of fertility drugs and did 5 IUIs and were told we had "secondary, unexplained infertility". We accepted we were going to be a family of 3 and moved on with our lives. Fast forward a few years and here we are, knocked up and expecting #2 much to our surprise! We are cautiously optimistic. I am 11w1d today, and went in for our NT scan. Little booger wasn't cooperating and they couldn't get measurements, so I have to go back in a week (this happen to anyone else, BTW?). I'm 36, H is 41, and we live in Ohio. I am not sure how active I will be on here, might pop in from time to time, but wanted to say hello and TIA for any support thrown our way. Hope everyone is staying safe!
Hi @anglndsguse44 and welcome. If you're interested, you'll be in the Week 4+ group - come say hi if you'd like!

Hello all. I’ve been lurking for a little while, and finally decided to introduce myself. I think I had to let it sink in some before I said hello. I’m 35, and this is my first pregnancy. I live in California, and I’m due October 26th.
So far things have been going well, except for the morning sickness. I’m definitely ready for the second trimester, and very excited it’s right around the corner.
Hi there! Hopefully my new username shows up now, it should be mistygish. I'm excited to have access to a community of moms to share with. I'm 33, this is my first pregnancy, due October 19. I live in Arizona but moving to Louisiana in July because one huge life change in a year isn't enough for me!
Hello! I'm new to the Bump and all things pregnancy related! My husband and I found out we were pregnant mid March. My EDD is Oct. 27th (a week before my 38th birthday 🤯). My first ultrasound is this Friday, April 17th - husband is not allowed to attend due to COVID restrictions...sad about that...it's our first baby. We are also doing genetic testing. Was anyone else nervous pending the results?
@knottie Welcome! You'll be in the Week 4+ group if you want to stop in and say hi. And yes, I was nervous about my NIPT results (and my NT scan, which is later this afternoon).

Hi all! I'm late on introductions, but better late than never, right?
This is my second pregnancy (first was a miscarriage), EDD October 29. Miscarried at 6 weeks last time, so I've been waiting until things are very certain before getting too excited this time around. Now I'm approaching 12 weeks, I've seen and heard the heartbeat on the US, and it's starting to feel very real.
Currently we're (im)patiently awaiting the results of genetic testing and sex - should get them some time this week, hopefully.
We had only been trying for one month after the miscarriage, and we barely hit the ovulation window so I figured it wasn't going to work out. A week after ovulation we went to Disneyland, and I figured there was no was implantation would happen with all the rides and rollercoasters. I took an early detection test anyways, and low and behold there was that second line!
I've been struggling, as I'm sure we all are, with quarantining and social distancing. I was getting anxiety attacks until I could start working from home, and I was too early on to even tell my work why I desperately wanted to work from home. It's difficult to make sure I'm eating right and getting enough exercise when I'm trying to minimize grocery store trips and can't go to the gym anymore. I had to announce the pregnancy to my family on a video chat, and I have not gotten to hug any of them since then. However, I'm infinitely thankful that my husband can still come to doctor's appointments and that my area has not been limiting birth partners. Here's hoping everything starts getting back to normal by October!
Hello Everyone! My EDD is 10/28 but I’m hoping I get a little Halloween baby 🎃! I am a FTM and a newlywed! Baby will be here a week or so after my 1st wedding anniversary. I found out I was pregnant 2 days after I had a massive 28th birthday celebration...turned out it was more than a serious hangover.
I just would love the support of a caring community. I have anxiety and I love to overthink every worst possibility. I am also a former smoker (not cigarettes 😉) so I’m coping with that as well stopping cold turkey.
@knottie Welcome! You'll probably want to change your user name so that it's a little more distinct. There is a thread at the top of this community board that will tell you how to do it. You'll be in the week 4+ check in group. Please feel free to stop by and say Hi!

@babyodo hey neighbor-ish costal would be so nice right! How are you doing?
Doing well! Now that the weather is warming up, it's killing me to not be going to the beach, so when it's a warmer day I just put my beach chair in our backyard, grab a book and a towel and a drink and just hang out with my dogs there. That's one thing the beaches here don't have: my doggos.
Hi all! I am a little late to introductions. My EDD as of right now is 10/31 Oregon is pretty quarantined and I am coming on 12 weeks and have not even been in for my ultrasound yet 😭 I go in Tuesday thankfully. Super excited to see our little babe. This is our 4th pregnancy (rainbow baby 2014) and will be our 3rd Baby! Our son is 4 and daughter is 2. Total shock and surprise, this baby. We were not trying but are excited to add another little addition to our family. As well as my aunt in law is pregnant too so we get to do this whole adventure together. Okay I think that is all ❤
My EDD is 10/31. I am 28 years old and live in Vermont. We conceived through IVF after struggling with infertility due to Endometriosis. This is our first child together.
Welcome @kmooore! You'll be in the Week 4+ group - please feel free to stop in and say hi!

I got a positive test on 2/14 but knew on 2/3 because I got very ill after dinner that night. I told my husband there was no way I wasn't pregnant but over the next week got 2 negative tests. I figured I'd just wait a while to take another one because I only had 1 left and my period is usually very predictable/scheduled. So after my night of vomiting and late period I took the test to show my husband I am in tune with my body.
I'm a FTM and a newbie with this app I've been using ovia along with this one and figured it's time to dive into these forums!

Hi! I lurked throughout my 1st pregnancy but decided to woman up and introduce myself this time around. I’m just over 12 weeks, due on Halloween. We have a 22 month old toddler who was sort of planned down to the month (I’m a teacher). This time we kind of decided to see what happens.
I had a chem pregnancy in November and then found out I was pregnant again shortly before my husband’s bday in late February after throwing up all night! I’ve since been diagnosed with HG- it has NOT been fun, especially after a breezy first pregnancy.
I grew up in NYC and lived there (and refused to leave) until our toddler started taking over our apt. We’re in NJ now, close enough to commute. My suburbia-raised husband couldn’t be happier 😬

Hello! Late to the intros here, but my EDD is Oct. 9. I'm 31 and this is my 5th pregnancy.
Over Christmas I had been feeling a little low, thinking maybe hormone imbalance and was planning a visit to my OB for a checkup. Fast forward to the end of January... I had a whole week where I felt back to my normal self (happy when shopping and out and about, not as tired, not feeling sad). I was also spotting that week and expecting my period any day. Well, on the 4th day of spotting, and after a particularly happy shopping trip (where I scored a stroller for a super good deal), I had a random thought that maybe I should take a test to make sure my period was really on it's way. It was a cheap dollar store test from my last pregnancy that had actually expired a few months prior, but it still worked! I remember looking at that positive test and saying out loud "no way!" And I laughed at myself. I picked up another test that afternoon, and sure enough, it was positive.
My youngest baby had just turned a year old, and my hubs and I had JUST started talking about when we wanted to start trying again... I was in shock for a few weeks, but after my first ultrasound, I really started to get excited!! I have 3 boys ages 6, 3.5, and 15 months, and crossing my fingers for a girl! (But being a boy mom is cool too )

@babyyoda2020 I didn't realize the beaches were closed. I was thinking the lots were closed like the trails up here but if you could walk you could go, but makes sense that they are, but that has to be so hard especially with the weather getting nicer. Lounge chair and dogs Sounds a good escape
Hello everyone! I know this is late, but I just found the forum. This is my first pregnancy, my husband and I have been TTC since late 2018. We saw a fertility specialist in early January and ended up getting our BFP on 2/12. EDD is 10/21. We live in Washington state, anyone else?
Hi everyone! I'm 32 and expecting baby #1 around October 17th! We are excited but nervous. We had been trying since June 2019. We just moved to a new city and dont really know many people. I also don't have many close friends with kids. So just here for some advice and support
Hey everyone! Super late to the party but just found out about these forums. I’m 27 and a first-time mom. EDD is October 13th. My husband and I live in Tennessee but I was a Navy brat growing up so I’ve lived all over the country, mostly in Virginia. I graduated with my masters degree in history in December and got pregnant a month later, so it’s been a busy couple of months 😀. Going to find out the gender on May 12th, we’re super excited!

I *just* found out I'm pregnant this week and had an ultrasound today that gave me an EDD of 10/05. I was not trying and have super irregular periods...and then lock down happened, time squished together, and I realized it had been a few months. Got a bfp last Saturday, a blood draw on Monday that suggested 7-18 weeks along and then an ultrasound today. I'm pretty much in shock - I had zero symptoms other than the missed period. So finding out I'm already halfway done with this pregnancy is really throwing me for a loop, but I would love to be active in this group.
My DS is 2 1/2. DH and I have been married 8 years. I'm in law school with one year left - so next semester is going to be crazy. I'm 31. I'll probably have a RCS so this LO will end up being a September babe, although I'm going to try to advocate for a later date because DS measured so far ahead in later USs and we don't have great data for my for sure due date.
Hopefully my late joining will still let me get to know all of you!
