  • @rivercitynik Sorry for the worry. I’m happy they’re having you come in. Everything is so scary right now as it is this will be nice to have reassurance for at least one aspect of your life 💙
  • Aww, that is so cute that she is excited for you to be team green.  @charhar0820. I feel like everyone in our circle is like, are you suuuuuuure you don't want to find out now?
  • @rivercitynik fingers crossed he’s just chilling. I would have called too.

  • @tyrion_ Oof, that's crazy.  I have been wondering how all these tele visits would be going down, like if you call them, or they call you.... Argh.  I hope they have a better explanation how that report just gets generated too, bc not only did you not have an actual visit / conversation, but certainly nothing BILLABLE. 😠
  • @ziggymama06 I have an anterior placenta too, and didnt feel much consistently until 19 weeks and then it was faint. I'm 22 +5 today and let me tell you I can definitely feel it now!
  • @ziggymama06 add me to the anterior placenta club to. Unfortunately I didn't start feeling strong movement until closer to 22 weeks. Now I feel movement all of the time and love it.

  • pengy16 I would send your doctor an email and ask what you should do. I know sometimes the scheduler can miss understand what the doctor wants. Even though it's across the street from where you A/S is taking place, your doctor may not want you to come for germ purposes, especially if you are doing well in your pregnancy.

  • @blackgirlmagic the scheduler had scheduled it before my tele-visit yesterday (a week ago). The doctor I was scheduled to see in person told her to schedule the tele-visit in place of the in person visit and then schedule 2 weeks from the tele-visit as an in person visit. Since its a practice with multiple doctors, the doctor I had the tele-visit with said at the end to schedule my next in office visit for 5 weeks from now which I didnt think about until this morning. The scheduler did say they may cancel/tele-visit the appt in 2 weeks as well but they hadn't gotten that far into the schedule yet. The one in 2 weeks is at 24 weeks so it could be they may have changed guidelines in the office since then too. I will probably call and verify what they want me to do.
  • That’s confusing @pengy16. I wish I could meet the other doctors in the practice but mine only see his patients unless emergencies but at least there isn’t confusion like that.

Had an ob appointment today to follow up from
labor and delivery. Baby heart rate is good at 155. Had protein in urine. He wants to schedule an ultrasound to recheck the placenta and make sure everything is healthy. So I’ll have that next week.

  • @lachnessmomster wow. Here at both my clinic and my daughters doctors they are screening at the door, verifying you have an appointment, and not allowing anyone else in. Both my husband and I went to my daughters and he had to wait in the car.

  • @roo_baby They did the whole temperature, confirm appointment, fill out a form, and hand out name tag situation for us, too, but they were still letting visitors in the main doors for whatever reason. They just couldn't get into the actual office upstairs. I don't get why they'd let anyone else through to just congregate outside the offices in the first place. 🤷‍♀️
  • @BusinessWife thanks, I am anxiously waiting for them to schedule the echo! I was told it's not emergent and likely not an issue, but I can't help to worry! Of course we all want our babies to be healthy. I can't help but wonder if it's something I did or didn't do right at the beginning....
  • @laur84ns I'm sorry you found it so stressful!  I just wrote in big caps on my intake form that I didn't want to know the sex, which she confirmed with me verbally, and then we went from there.  I wasn't really stressed about it (though I can't help but be paranoid that I saw something I wasn't supposed to see.  :# I probably didn't.)  It maybe helped put me at ease tho that I remembered the tech from last time, but anyway I'm glad you got out of there in one piece! :)
