Anyone else feel their stomach stretching in the first trimester

I have a hard tome sleeping at night sometimes. I move around a lot & feel my stomach just tightening.

    And yes, I have felt my stomach muscles tightening, kind of like the day after an intense ab workout. I figure it's just my body adapting and preparing to make room for the baby. It's the natural course of pregnancy.

    If you notice - there is not much action on the tri boards, go to your birth month board and there is more activity there.

    It could be round ligament pain - but I don't know as I never had it.  It could be a part of pregnancy, or just muscle spasms.  IDK, I'm not a doc.  It would be an EXCELLENT question to ask your doc at your next appointment.
