How are you feeling? Like crap. I have a bad head cold/throat combo and woke up at 5am crying because I felt so bad. Luckily H is very sweet and made me tea at 5am and rubbed my back even though he definitely overdid it at our Sunday gatherings.
Raves/Rants: Minus not being able to take NyQuil a tiny self rant that, because I felt a little better yesterday, I think I overdid it. I had a scheduled brunch date and then H and I had two 2 year old birthday parties to go to. One was our next door neighbors and I left that early but still, I probably should have stayed home. Def did not hug/touch/cough/sneeze on any at either and washed my hands about a thousand times.
Also a goofy pseudo-rant, H is currently dieting (his goal is to lose as much weight as I gain which I have mixed feelings about) and he definitely overdid it on the booze accidently yesterday at these parties and was part hilarious, part annoying because he needed some taking care of last night (basically me saying you're fine, go to bed) while I also needed taking care of.
Questions: N/A
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at? I'm a big do-er so anything action based/starting new things/community organizing/etc.
Upcoming appointments: Had AS on Saturday, won't find out anything about it until OB appt on March 16th.
How are you feeling? Actually not too bad. Mind you, I also learned the hard way to not stop taking my diclectin. I skipped Saturday and vomited a few times. One time I puked so hard I peed my pants, not just a little (because that's happened many times), I'm talking like a puddle on the floor. Eff.
Raves/Rants: It's March break next week and I cannot wait for a week off of work.
Questions:
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at? Hm. I don't know, I don't think I have any good skills lol.
@pocketrose I love that skill! One of my closest friends is so good with that and it's the best! I'm great with saying we should do x, y and z (who isn't?!) but she makes it happen and I love it!
@mrsdrez ugh... been there with the pee puddle while puking. That sucks! Hope you're feeling better today! EDD/weeks+days: 23+1
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: blue
Baby is the size of a(n)/fun fact: chinchilla
Upcoming appointments: 3/17 w/OB and 3/30 w/MFM
How are you feeling? Good, overall...but felt so nauseous every time I ate this weekend, beginning Saturday with dinner. It suuuucked! But I lived :-) And it prob wasn't even pg related.
Raves/Rants: NBR rant... DD had 4 accidents between Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. Before now, she's had 2, ever. Like, we started PT and she didn't have accidents. So, now we're worried about a UTI. Hoping it's just a fluke and everything's okay/going to go back to normal... but, geez. Poor kid!
Questions: nope!
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at? I think I'm an excellent crafter lol... is that a skill? I feel confident in my ability to see something and find a way to make it myself. Craft/wine days with my bestie are something I really miss since we've had kids... but maybe one day I'll get back at it! Because of this, I can sew, crochet, refinish furniture, make wreaths, you name it... I've either done it or totally think I could
Baby is the size of a(n)/fun fact: coconut (which seems huge!)
Upcoming appointments: 3/18 for another US since they didn’t get all the pics they needed at the anatomy scan
How are you feeling? Tired. We went to the hospital last night. I had some spotting yesterday morning and I was fairly certain it was because we’d had sex a couple days before. But it just worried me. I called the Babyline and since I was also having some lower back pain they told me to go in. They monitored me for a couple hours, may have had a couple mild contractions but I never felt them. They discharged us around midnight and said to call if the spotting got worse, pain got worse, etc. But all looked fine and baby boy was kicking lots the whole visit.
Raves/Rants: see above. Thankful (?) to have had an attentive, quick experience at the hospital I’ll deliver at. Made me feel good about that decision.
Questions: not really. Anybody else had 2nd tri spotting?
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at? This skill isn’t worth a dime but I can always dream up a rhyme.
@pocketrose I would need H to figure out a different weight loss metric for his goal. 😂
Baby is the size of a(n)/fun fact: weighs as much as a can of soda/is measured from head to foot now!
Upcoming appointments: idk sometime in a few weeks
How are you feeling? Fine. My sleep is definitely being impacted, I woke up like 15 times last night between DH (sweetly) being too far on my side of the bed and my cat (also sweetly) snuggling in my legs. Non pregnant, perfect night. Pregnant, can't move, everyone get off me!!
Raves/Rants: H and I both have colds which I've used as an excuse to be a total couch potato the past few days. I'm actually getting a little nervous about coronavirus and I feel really silly about it. But there's over 25 "presumptive" cases in my area, plus the flu and all sorts of other germs!! I will henceforth be hiding in a pregnancy germophobe bubble. My company is generally pretty flexible about work from home and is encouraging us to do it more than usual. On Mondays I do it anyway and it's going to be almost 70 here today so I'll be sitting on the porch soaking up the sun with my laptop in a little bit
Questions: okay big one today for STM+s - how did you go about finding a pediatrician??! This feels like a Herculean task!
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at? Lol so this question was inspired by a dream I had recently where I had to play a game with my high school field hockey team but like in my current, 29 year old and pregnant (and out of shape) form. That said I wouldn't call field hockey a skill I have anymore lol.
For now I'd say I'm really good at navigation. I'm not very beholden to GPS. So whether it's wandering around a city with friends or driving with DH, I can usually get us where we need to go
@modoodles that's so cool!! MH hasn't felt it yet, and we're both eagerly awaiting that day. Movement is becoming stronger and more predictable though so I'm sure it will happen soon
@pocketrose hmm not sure about how I feel about YHs weight loss goal.... That aside, I'm sorry you're feeling so miserable! I hope you can rest today!
@mrsdrez ugh sorry about the vom fest. Spring break so soon!
Upcoming appointments: random army appointment today (apparently I can’t hear), OB tomorrow
How are you feeling? I totally overdid it this weekend, but I was alone with DS so not much I could have done.
Raves/Rants: why do taxes suck so much. I wish we were easy but we deal with 3 separate states (home of record OH, DH does Army stuff out of NC, and I do Army out of GA, DH works for Army in GA as well). Our poor CPA loves us...I sent her lots of cute pictures of DS....ugh. Plus with IVF our of pocket...
Questions: none so far
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at? @mo@modoodles ohhh I’m an awesome over thinker too! Yay generalized anxiety.
But in all seriousness I rock at fixing bunions. 23 min average and I can make them look pretty!
@rachelredhead I haven't but a friend on DD's BMB spotted throughout her entire pregnancy and had no complications. Just to ease your mind a little
@mehugg I googled and used sites where people can give feedback on docs to find one who everyone loved. I'd also see which practice rounds at the hospital you'll deliver at to see if you like them. Some things you'll want to consider: - what do weekend hours look like? Do they extend those during cold/flu season? - do they have separate sick/well waiting areas (I think most do) - do they have an after hours line? If so, when you call, can you speak with an on call RN and/or doctor? (Some have an after hours line that's basically just used as a scheduling line. -if you have a local mom FB group, ask them who they like/don't like and why - If you plan to try to BF: do they have a staff lactation consultant? (this isn't common, but our pediatrician's office isn't the only one I've heard that offers this so worth finding out)
@footdrbritt "plus with IVF out of pocket" Is this related to your taxes or just saying that's another expense? We paid OOP so just wanting to make sure there isn't something else we can claim lol
Baby is the size of a(n)/fun fact: baby bok choy. I have zero frame of reference for that. Her inner ear is developing to help her balance- hopefully hers is better than mine lol
Upcoming appointments: not till April
How are you feeling? Like shit. DH and I were both under the weather all weekend and I woke up this morning feeling like I had a sinus infection.
Raves/Rants: DH somehow started our chimney on fire Friday night (not really a rant or rave, just generally how our weekend started haha) so that was fun. Everything is fine now. Wondering if my sinus issues now are related to that or just random. It was a beautiful day yesterday so we got to enjoy some sun with our fur child in the park. Now it’s back to cloudy and rain the rest of the week, as per usual.
Questions: nope
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at? I think I share the same skills as @modoodles tbh
@blaf322 if you spent over than standard deduction (which we did) then you can claim it! We spent a total of 35,000 this year just for IVF/meds and then claimed the drive time to appointments (250 miles for each appointment). It meant we don’t owe this year thank god!
@rachelredhead@mehugg Yea, if H hits his ultimate weight loss goal he will be smaller than me which I have mixed to negative feelings about. He's a pretty stockily built man though and once he loses the gut (which is where he loses weight first along with his face/neck, lucky asshole) it's going to be hard for him to lose much more because he's very broad shouldered/chested/giant thigh'd/etc. So if he drops another 15lbs and I gain around that we'll be a similar size but I'll still maybe be smaller and then will hopefully insta-lose 10lbs having a baby lol (one can hope). I will say, he's lost over 10lbs at this point and while I enjoy looking at him at all sizes, I can't complain about the view.
Baby is the size of a(n)/fun fact: Banana, which is DS absolute favorite food in the world, so it’s a cute one.
Upcoming appointments: just had my AS this morning
How are you feeling? Like I’ve been hit by a huge bus. I’ve been sleeping HARD and peeling myself out of bed in the am has been rough.
Raves/Rants: Related to that same sleeping thing, I woke up around 430am and couldn’t fall back asleep til around 6. Ya know, 30 minutes before my alarm went off. I’m so tired today, I’d like bedtime to be now. Please and thanks. On the plus side, DH dropped me off a breakfast sandwich at work since I didn’t have time to go get any after my AS. So at least I’m full and sleepy.
Questions: nope
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at?
oh man, I suck at answering questions about myself. Is that a skill?
Upcoming appointments: today for AS, cervical length check, and meet with our MFM
How are you feeling? Definitely starting to feel more human, but still too afraid to stop the unisom. Little dude is transverse and facing my spine and the back pain he is creating is unbelievable.
Raves/Rants: Rave: DD waved hi to little brother in my belly for the first time today!! It means nothing, she waves hi to anything, but it was still cute. Rant: we move in two weeks and we are SOOO behind, and I don’t think our new house is going to be finishing, so scrambling now to find a place to stay for a few days. We have lots of options, just takes so much more planning now that we have DD. DH and I would live in a construction site no problem, but we can’t do that with a very curious 20 month old.
Questions: not this week
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at? I’m really handy, I can fix pretty much anything. I do most of the fixes around our house and I fix wheelchairs at work.
@footdrbritt OMG FIX MINE!! My mom had hers done almost two years ago (funny enough at another military facility) and is still recovering. I need mine done, but I am terrified after her experience. I’ve had a few patients that I’ve worked with post op and it is such a long journey I can’t make myself fix mine.
@b_1029 sorry you're sick! When I was younger, fires like that really agitated me... so it could be that!
@kristinl492 I've been sleeping super hard too! It's been great... but, like you said, so hard to peel myself out of bed in the AM!
@kc0711 So sorry for the back pain... that sounds awful! Keep us posted on how the move planning goes! It sounds so stressful!
@footdrbritt Good to know! I'll have DH look into it (he does our taxes)... though, I think we only spent a little over $10k... and that includes PGD/PGS so I bet we wouldn't qualify for any sort of deductions because of it.
Baby is the size of a(n)/fun fact: corn on the cob
Upcoming appointments: 3/24; OB visit and another US since we didn't get baby's profile at the AS
How are you feeling? physically, fine. Emotionally, not great.
Raves/Rants: My mom is visiting this weekend, yay!
Questions: nothing right now
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at? Umm... my memory is pretty good? Teaching pure barre, I have to memorize 50 mins' worth of choreography that changes with each class (I teach 3x/week), so that's a good challenge that has definitely helped my memory.
@modoodles yay for YH feeling the baby! And I, too, have the overthinking and jumping to worst case skills.
@pocketrose I hope you start feeling better soon! I'd also have a lot of feelings if MH told me he was going to try to lose as much weight as I'm gaining... that seems pretty insensitive to me, and I'd be offended.
@mrsdrez solidarity for peeing and puking. Such a fun combo! Enjoy your break from work!
@blaf322 crafting is definitely a skill! I'm jealous. I'm the person who thinks I can do something myself, tries to, gets about 20% into it, realizes it looks like a hot piece of trash, and then gives up and orders something from etsy instead. lol
@rachelredhead I've had spotting following DTD recently too. I'm glad you got peace of mind after your visit though! And I love your skill
@mehugg that sounds like a perfect weather day! Enjoy WFH on the porch! For the pediatrician, I asked a trusted friend and went with her recommendation. The good news is if you don't like your pediatrician, you can always switch! I'd definitely look for somewhere that has separate well/sick waiting rooms and entrances, has at least some weekend/extended hours, and has a nurse line you can call anytime.
@footdrbritt can you fix my bunions? haha I've always heard that procedure is super painful, so I don't actually want to do anything about mine right now, but I think they'll only get worse as time goes on.
@b_1029 sorry you're not feeling well! Hope you start feeling better soon.
@kristinl492 Why is it always easiest to fall asleep right before your alarm goes off?
@stlbuckeye132 haha...similarly, I see things, am certain I can make them so I refuse to buy them and then (now, post kids) never makes said item and never end up owning anything I really wanted b/c of it I need to get to that last "order from etsy" step you've accomplished lol
Baby is the size of a(n)/fun fact: coconut tomorrow
Upcoming appointments: None until next month
How are you feeling? Not bad. The sciatic pain isn't as bad this week, so maybe sleeping with a pillow between my legs has been helping, or maybe it was the walking/stretching over the weekend. Who knows. I've also just started feeling baby kick higher up (like above my belly button), which makes sense since at my AS they said he was head down. Makes me feel like this belly is so big for a reason lol. On the downside, add me to the club of people getting sick/feeling sick. I'm hoping it's just allergies but I know it's probably another cold coming on.
Raves/Rants: such nice weather today, and it *looks* like winter is behind us. I'm excited to get outside more.
Questions: none
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at? Looks like @modoodles set the tone because I'm pretty sure that's my only consistent skill lol
@bl@blaf322 I'm jealous of your crafting skills! I swear I can't do anything crafty, I wish I was good at it. I'm with @st@stlbuckeye132 I usually just go to Etsy
@kc@kc0711 that back pain sounds awful, I hope baby flips down soon! So cute about DD, I feel the same way whenever my DD even remotely "interacts" with the baby.
@me@mehugg I love the list that @bl@blaf322 gave but mainly I just used word of mouth when choosing a pediatrician, same as daycare. But yes knowing weekend hours is key, we've already used those a couple of times and also whether they have admitting privileges at the local children's hospital (wherever your child would be seen if they had to go to the ER or get admitted for a chronic illness, etc).
Upcoming appointments: this Wednesday is our AS! then next Wednesday is my next appt with my OB and the glucose test....so fun haha
How are you feeling? im okay. im nervous about the AS and still not really feeling much movement. i also cant sleep at all anymore, which sucks. friday and saturday nights were awful - i could not get comfortable, id get really hot then really cold, and when id wake up i couldnt fall back asleep for hours. last night was a little better, but still not great.
yesterday i was like your stereotypical pregnant lady - i peed myself while sneezing, i complained a lot, and i started laughing so hard at something and then it turned into me sobbing for no reason. so ya, im just a mess right now haha.
also, we are moving. it makes me really sad because i love our current place, but its just not sustainable with a baby. so we are majorly downsizing and moving into an apartment that i dont love, but it meets all of our needs. im sure itll be better once weve made it our own, its just a sad thing right now. luckily (but also costly) we will be paying rent at both places for the month of april so we will have a few weeks to get things moved over instead of trying to do it all over a weekend or something. so ya, im going through all my stuff and selling a bunch of stuff on poshmark, donating stuff, and packing everything. super fun lol.
Raves/Rants: see above haha. my husband is stellar and helps me so much around the house, so rave for him. he worked all day saturday so i cleaned the house and it was rough...i had to do one room, then take a break for like an hour, and then go to another room haha. a combo rant/rave - im travelling a lot in the coming months (around our state, then Texas, then Missouri, then maybe Montana) and i love travelling but travelling while pregnant and with the coronavirus risks is stressful.
Questions: does anyone else feel super pressured to pick the right name for baby? haha. DH and i had it narrowed down to two and we picked one and now im constantly second guessing it. are people going to tease her for it? is she going to be one of like dozens in her school with the same name? ahhhhh.
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at? hmm i feel like im fairly good at a few things, but not really good at a lot. i have a home bakery and everyone has loved the stuff i bake for them, so i guess maybe that? im also really crafty...ive taught myself to knit, crochet, paint, etc. but im not like an expert at any of those things. i guess one thing im really good at is decorating/party planning. if i could be a full time designer/decorator/party planner, i would LOVE it!

24 weeks, 7/1 Team pink Baby size of pomegranate How feeling? Still wheezing, FIL died Friday night and so we stayed out on their property amidst cotton fields. Wife still there I’m going back tomorrow rants/rave I‘ve had urine leakage. Stopped on way back from in-laws and Pee stream was starting as I was getting to seat. Sigh, will stop sooner. Neck is all cracked up. No questions I’m crafty but my main hobby is fused glass.
@bluguitarhannah I'm so sorry about your FIL. I hope you and your wife are taking care of yourselves the best you can.
@knockupthestock@kc0711 maybe we should have a moving check-in thread... only half kidding lol. I have movers coming tomorrow to give me an estimate and then my brother (who is our agent) is coming this week to talk about what we need to do to our house to get it ready to list... and I know it may include some hefty projects and I'm worried about the cost and annoyance factor.
How are you feeling? Terrible today, came down with a stomach bug this morning. 🤢 so miserable.
Raves/Rants: just trying to not throw up over here 👈 lol terrified of puking
Questions: Anything that makes you feel better when you have a stomach bug and can’t eat anything? Husband is bringing home some Gatorade for me. I haven’t had a stomach bug since middle school.
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at? - saxophone 🎷 - organizing - remembering song lyrics
@shaqn0sis I'm not sure it'll be strong enough to help with the stomach bug, but antihistamines (like the doxylamine in Unisom) are antiemetics, from what I read during first tri... plus they're safe to take while KU. Maybe try taking one to see if it helps at all?
I'd just work to not eat for a while and take small sips when you're feeling like maybe you could hold it down. Give yourself 30mins-1hr between sips and if you're able to keep it down, try a little more and keep going until you're keeping more down. Go in if you're too dehydrated.
@blaf322 I've finally learned to stop attempting to DIY and just go straight to etsy, so at least I've stopped spending on the DIY supplies AND etsy. I now limit myself to one craft per year - DD's Halloween costume. They've been pretty awesome so far, if I do say so myself. (I just have to start them like 2 months in advance haha)
@footdrbritt when I'm ready to fix my bunions, I will come to you! haha they're not typically painful, so it doesn't feel worth it to do anything about yet.
@meanjellybean noooo I hope you can get a lot of rest and avoid getting sick! (Should be pretty easy for you to rest with a 2 year old and in the process of moving, right? ha)
@knockupthestock I hope your AS goes well! That sucks to have to move, but hopefully you'll be able to make it feel a bit more homey once you're there. As far as the pressure to find the right name... yep! Definitely feel it. With DD, MH and I both really loved one name, but it was in the top 10 which I didn't want. I eventually had to just get over that it was a popular name because it was the one we kept coming back to. Turns out with this pregnancy, I'm still drawn to a lot of really popular names. The good news is a top 10 name now is very different from a top 10 name in the 80s or 90s percentage-wise because there are so many more names being used now. Whatever you choose will end up being the "right" one for your DD!
@bluguitarhannah so sorry to hear about your FIL. Thinking of you, your wife, and her family.
@shaqn0sis sorry you have a stomach bug! I normally stick to saltines and Gatorade. (Ginger ale is also recommended, but I'm not a fan of carbonation.)
@meanjellybean im so down for a moving check in hahaha. there are a lot of us moving....me, you, @kc0711, @hbird0723, maybe others that i am forgetting. its nuts! haha
@bluguitarhannah so sorry about your FIL. i hope yall are doing alright.

@stlbuckeye132 if they don’t hurt don’t fix them! I tell my patients to wait until they’re hurting every day to get them fixed, because the surgery is (obviously) going to cause pain (which people seem to forget 😑)
Baby is the size of a(n)/fun fact: Chipotle Burrito (& now I want Chipotle)
Upcoming appointments: March 30
How are you feeling? Good. Tired in afternoon
Raves/Rants: pottytraining while pregnant just stinks
Questions: when will I feel the baby move?
Still early I know.
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at? Connecting people to others or certain activities/events they're unaware exist in our town
@stlbuckeye132 if you feel comfortable doing it, I'd LOVE to see the costumes you've made!!
We used to make costumes every year with one of my close friends and her ex-H. I think my most favorite was when we were the Jamaican bobsled team (Cool Runnings). We made a bobsled and everything
@busymom247 do you have an anterior placenta? I'd think you'd be feeling something by now (especially since this isn't your first pregnancy) unless you have an anterior placenta. ETA- not to say something is wrong... just wondering if you have an undiagnosed AP if you still aren't feeling anything at all.
@busymom247 I haven't felt much baby movement minus the occasional under the skin vibrations here and there. OBGYN said they don't really care too much about it until 28 weeks, I also have an anterior placenta and it's my first so those were taken into consideration.
@blaf322 well twist my arm! Blocked out her face b/c I'm paranoid like that, but here you go! Her first Halloween she was an octopus... I spent way more time than I'd care to admit hot gluing all those buttons on (because I don't sew lol and sewing would've taken longer anyway), and then when I sent her to daycare in that, I realized what a horrible idea it was to make an infant's costume full of choking hazards. haha Last year I opted for something a little simpler. Strawberry! I love that you did a Jamaican bobsled team! Pic?
@busymom247 my OB says not to worry about feeling movement until 27 weeks, so hopefully that provides some reassurance. I'd be wondering about an anterior placenta too though. I have one this time and it made it much later in pregnancy to feel the first movements than it was with my first.
Baby is the size of a(n)/fun fact: the length of a banana
Upcoming appointments: not until April 😭
How are you feeling? Very tired. I am not sleeping well at night and sometimes this leads to nauseous. I also have tons of heartburn! 😭
Raves/Rants: I have mostly positives this week. I can tell such a different in my feelings since starting my anxiety med. So much better!!! But I still feels worried in the back of my mind.
Questions: Does anyone else have massive heartburn? Also is everyone feeling consistent movement. I feel movement, but there is not a pattern.
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at?
Organization is my therapy!!! Also I am with everyone else!!! I can worry and over analyze anything. 😣
Thanks everyone! @blaf322 She’s not great been left work Friday to go to his side. MIL is in early stages of Alzheimer’s and my best description is mil decompensated severely over weekend. The brother is useless so we’ve been wrangling the details for funeral and repeating 10+ bc MIL cannot recall. She’ll stay with her Mom at least through Friday but this was her spring break and instead of relaxing she’s doing all this.
@busymom247 yep... I figured they weren't worried if you didn't mention the concern lol.... Just wondering about the possibility of AP Hopefully you feel some kicks soon!
@bluguitarhannah ugh... my heart breaks for her. And Alzheimer's is such a terrible disease. The family is always hit so hard (I worked in end of life care in my younger years and many of our patients were end stage :-( ) I'm so sorry. I wish there was something I could do.
@stlbuckeye132 omg... Those are both so cute! And that octopus is evvvverything! I love it! Ours were much more home made looking (b/c adults who were here for the drinks ) But here's our bobsled team outfits (not the greatest pic, but meh) and another year I stumbled across... When we were shark week. We only had 6 of us and always just made up something random for where our missing day of the week was haha
@blaf322 haha I love those! Yes the octopus turned out super cute, I was really happy with it. (I promise there's another leg hiding behind her... I know there are 8 of them lol) Except I think it set the bar too high because everyone at her daycare kept telling me they were looking forward to seeing her costume this past year, and then they seemed slightly disappointed with the strawberry.
@stlbuckeye132 also, I totally want this baby to be a zombie for his 2nd halloween. I was going to do it for DD's 2nd, but she wasn't walking yet so it didn't really work out. Something like this...
@stlbuckeye132 okay that baby octopus is the cutest thing i have seen in ages.

Baby is the size of a(n)/fun fact: banana

@mehugg I googled and used sites where people can give feedback on docs to find one who everyone loved. I'd also see which practice rounds at the hospital you'll deliver at to see if you like them. Some things you'll want to consider:
- what do weekend hours look like? Do they extend those during cold/flu season?
- do they have separate sick/well waiting areas (I think most do)
- do they have an after hours line? If so, when you call, can you speak with an on call RN and/or doctor? (Some have an after hours line that's basically just used as a scheduling line.
-if you have a local mom FB group, ask them who they like/don't like and why
- If you plan to try to BF: do they have a staff lactation consultant? (this isn't common, but our pediatrician's office isn't the only one I've heard that offers this so worth finding out)

Sorry you're sick/solidarity @b_1029!
@blaf322 I'm a miserable crafter so I wish I had your skill!

Baby is the size of a(n)/fun fact: banananana
Upcoming appointments: today for AS, cervical length check, and meet with our MFM
How are you feeling? Definitely starting to feel more human, but still too afraid to stop the unisom. Little dude is transverse and facing my spine and the back pain he is creating is unbelievable.
Raves/Rants:
Rave: DD waved hi to little brother in my belly for the first time today!!

@kc0711 I hope your AS goes well!
Have fun with your mom this weekend!!
@kc0711 @stlbuckeye132 LET ME HELP YOU lol. It’s seriously my favorite thing to fix, if done the right way it shouldn’t take over 3-5 mo to recover

Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: pink!
Baby is the size of a(n)/fun fact: microphone

How feeling? Still wheezing, FIL died Friday night and so we stayed out on their property amidst cotton fields. Wife still there I’m going back tomorrow
rants/rave I‘ve had urine leakage. Stopped on way back from in-laws and Pee stream was starting as I was getting to seat. Sigh, will stop sooner. Neck is all cracked up.
No questions
I’m crafty but my main hobby is fused glass.
@knockupthestock @kc0711 maybe we should have a moving check-in thread... only half kidding lol.

I'd just work to not eat for a while and take small sips when you're feeling like maybe you could hold it down. Give yourself 30mins-1hr between sips and if you're able to keep it down, try a little more and keep going until you're keeping more down. Go in if you're too dehydrated.

Raves/Rants: pottytraining while pregnant just stinks

Still early I know.
GTKY: What is a skill you have or something you're really good at?
Connecting people to others or certain activities/events they're unaware exist in our town
Placenta is posterior and they're not concerned by me not feeling yet. I was at MFM 2/28 and midwife 3/2.
My first pregmancy the placenta was anterior and I finally felt baby at 24-25 weeks.
I expected it to feel baby sooner bc posterior placenta and second pregnancy. Soon soon I'm sure! 🙃
@busymom247 my OB says not to worry about feeling movement until 27 weeks, so hopefully that provides some reassurance. I'd be wondering about an anterior placenta too though. I have one this time and it made it much later in pregnancy to feel the first movements than it was with my first.

@bluguitarhannah ugh... my heart breaks for her. And Alzheimer's is such a terrible disease. The family is always hit so hard (I worked in end of life care in my younger years and many of our patients were end stage :-( ) I'm so sorry. I wish there was something I could do.
