  • wildrainbow I've had one massage so far and that didn't really help, past the few couple hours after the massage. I have been stretching, but I still hurt after stretching. I did not think about a chiropractor though.I'm 5'1, so I'm close to your height.
    fitandnerdy that is pretty funny.

  • @ziggymama06 First pregnancy I felt my first few wiggles around 14 weeks, this pregnancy it was at around 13.  I also have an anterior placenta meaning that could dampen what I feel for a while since baby is sitting behind the placenta, but I still felt some internal wiggles and flutters. I don't feel movement every day, but I feel it often if I have been working out or moving around a lot, and then I suddenly lay down and still. Feeling things before 20 weeks is often a sign you're just very in tune with your body. Some people feel it, others don't. Don't sweat if you're not feeling it yet.

@krkgreen I had a friend who never fully developed GD and had no family history of diabetes have several sugar swings in her pregnancy. I would bring it up to your doctor so they can monitor you closely though. My friend never developed full on GD, but the end result was just a few extra blood tests and a few non-stress tests as the pregnancy went on. Momma and baby are both happy and healthy now.

  • @gomillis Congratulations on the promotion! That is great news!
  • @rivercitynik I used Burts Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter. I used it in my first pregnancy and thought it helped with the belly itchiness

  • Thanks for all the moisturizer recommendations!

@radiohd18 same with daylight savings!! I walked outside at 6 and couldn't believe it was still so light. Spring is on the way!

@gomillis congrats on the promotion...what a good feeling!
  • I also appreciated going back and seeing the other couples, having time to let things sink in etc.  The biggest problem I had with ours it they sure seemed to go pretty late into the evening...
  • For those asking about the birthing classes, there are a couple of things to consider; how far along you'll be (mostly sitting for 8h sounds like hell to me at the end of the third trimester), if it is in the summer it might be boiling. When I went to the classes for my son who was a September baby, we did the evening classes over 3 weeks and it was SO hot but at least we only had to stay in there for 2h at a time.
