Rant/Rave: Nausea has really reared its ugly head this week. I haven't kept anything down today yet (it's still early, but I have been up for hours). Left a message with the OB asking for diclegis like I had last time. I need to get a handle on this before my husband goes out of town on the 15th. Plus, I'm hoping the unisom helps with sleep. Maybe that's why I didn't think the insomnia was as bad with my last pregnancy.
Rave-DH's best friend just told him his wife is expecting (their first)! Due in early September. He was really tempted to tell him about us too but decided to wait since he didn't have to okay from me. I probably wouldn't have minded, but it's exciting! Now if only they didn't live halfway across the country from us.

GTKY: What is your favorite color? Purple! DD is working on her colors right now, and I told her purple was my favorite. Now every time she picks up the purple crayon, she looks at me and says, "mama!" Melts my heart.

Upcoming Appointments: I still need to schedule it, their computers were down after my appointment yesterday. 😠
Rant: The billing department talked to me before my appointment and it was not good. I have to call my insurance company to double check what they cover during pregnancy. Billing strongly suggested dropping my insurance and getting Medicaid if it truly is as bad as they were quoted. 😩
Rave: I was really worried about this new office, it’s huge and I’ve heard some bad things. I’m pleasantly surprised that everyone was really kind. The NP I saw yesterday was amazing. She was kind and patient listening to all my anxiety/depression issues and we have a plan to get it under control.

GTKY: What is your favorite color? Yellow! I used to lie and say pretty much any other color, but now after owning a yellow car I can’t deny it. 😂 I’ve owned so many yellow shoes and cardigans over the years. I will wear a mustard yellow shoes with ANYTHING.

Rant/Rave: Was home Friday with a sick toddler, whose favorite game is “stick my fingers in mommy’s mouth” so guess who is sick now...
Questions: Have you started using any kind of extra support at night? I am considering starting to use my full body pillow already... 🤣

Rant/Rave: EFF NAUSEA. I can barely eat dinner because it get so bad at night. My lunches are pretty big as a result, though, haha.

Rant/Rave: switched practices and absolutely LOVE my new practice!!! The nurse was the kindest soul ever. The Dr so kind and warm. I felt that I was in the right place
rant - still sick. Went to my PCP today, who I also love and trust and luckily it’s not strep or the flu! Just a bad bacterial infection

Upcoming Appointments: 3/27-normal appointment and have to do an early glucose test because I have PCOS
Rant/Rave: I’m getting a flu shot tomorrow. I never get them (sorry!), but I never get sick and I guess I have a “don’t fix what’s not broken” mentality about it. I don’t want to take any risks though and my doctor said we could see cases in our local area until May.

Rant/Rave: I never had this much trouble sleeping this early with my first pregnancy! I'm so grumpy that my poor DH considers moving to the couch.

Rant/Rave: Forgot to post on Wednesday and super busy at work, so sorry I’m late! I’ve also been very weirder out by my complete lack of pregnancy symptoms. Confession: I borrowed the ultrasound machine and snuck into a room at work to scan myself. I saw a little peanut and pretty sure I saw a flickering heartbeat. So, of course, I now have all the pregnancy symptoms including nausea and constipation.

@klngnhp I’m sleeping with a body pillow but I have my snoogle ready to go. I also wake up about 2-3 per night, so I’ve been sleeping in the guest room b/c I find it really hard to go back to sleep with the chorus of snoring coming from my husband and two dogs that sleep in our bed.
