Hi All, my EDD is 10/28 according to LMP. This is my second pregnancy, my first was an ectopic almost 2 years ago. I am 44 and will be a first time mom. Really praying hard for this pregnancy.
Hi all! First time here, I'm 26. Due date is Oct 23. I'm still not familiar with some of the terms that you all seem to know but I'll do my research and learn as much as I can. Hope to share and learn with you all
Hi everyone! This is my first time getting pregnant. My husband and I have been trying since June 2019. I have PCOS and an irregular cycle, so it wasn't easy to figure out ovulation. After my breasts hurt for 2 weeks (1 week before my period was normal), I decided to take a test and it was positive to my surprise! I had my first ultrasound on February 12th and they put me at 6 weeks (LMP put me at 10, but my irregular cycle made that completely wrong). My due date is October 7th (one day before my wedding anniversary).
Got my BFP 2 days ago, after trying for a year, I'm so excited as we were starting to discuss IVF (we were going to wait till spring, nearest clinic is a 5hr drive away and didn't want to do that in the winter if possible). Going to the Dr tomorrow to get things official, for now my EDD is Oct 31 according to my Flo app. I think it will be later though as I'm only 16 DPO right now, and my app puts me at 6wks because of my long cycles.
This is my first time pregnant, so all this is brand new for me. Not much symptom-wise except some cramping and slightly sore boobs, no nausea yet. Also haven't slept well the last few nights but I think that's due to excitement more than anything.
Any suggestions for handling the cramps? So far I've found being active helps (doggo is gonna get lots of walks if this keeps up) but obviously I can't spent my entire work day walking around....
EDD is Oct 27. Will be a repeat c-section. I have 1 year old and 4 year old daughters. I’m a CPA and foster mom, but we are in between foster kids right now. Found out at 3 weeks 2 days. I’ve always been able to find out early:) so excited to be here!!

I’m a CPA too! Do you work in public? I’m an auditor.
@pelomama yep! I work in Saint Louis. But right now I only work during busy season because of kids and fostering:) I’m excited we’re getting both the first trimester and busy season out of the way at once so we can enjoy the summer, are you??
Hey everyone, 42yo FTM here after almost 3 years of trying. 3rd Transfer cycle with IVF worked and I am currently 5w4d Due date is currently October 23rd but due to a previous Robotic Myomectomy I was told I'll need a C-Section which would change that? Based in Staten Island, NY but originally from Christchurch, New Zealand 🇳🇿 Fun fact: 80% of my family were born in the month of October so I guess LO held off until the timing was right I know it's early days but having tried to just GET pregnant for over 1.5 years, I'm gonna enjoy this time and try not to worry too much! Really wonderful to have a group of October mums to share this with xoxo
My EDD is 10/15. I found out on my birthday when I got off work that morning. Just felt like taking a digital test that I've had sitting for a while. We were not TTC, but I just had this thing in my head telling me to pee on that stick so I just did. Lo and behold, it said Yes +. What a great way to start my 28th year! I have a DS who is 5 almost 6 and I can't wait to tell him he is going to be a big brother! I had a MC on mother's day in 2018, right before I graduated nursing school. I'm excited and crossing my fingers for my rainbow baby! We have our first US scheduled on Thursday and I really hope I see something and maybe even hear a heartbeat!

Nice! I am lucky, I work PT which is 30 hours normally, 35-40 during busy season.
Lurked for a while and finally decided to post. First pregnancy here, we found out 3 weeks ago yesterday! EDD October 13!
Really thought we were pregnant the month prior because I was really sick and had a lot of symptoms and turned out to be negative. I was tracking ovulation and never got a confirmation and DH was really sick during my fertile window so we thought we had missed it. Eventually realized I was due for my period the next day and decided to take a test if I didn’t start in the middle of the night. Woke up super early for DH to go to work to a BFP!! (I legit took the test and got ready then tried to sneak up on the test as if that would change the results)
As far as symptoms, I’ve been sick since hitting week six with random cravings/huge aversions and only able to stomach fast food (which I almost never eat). I’ve been bone tired for weeks now.
I’ll stop rambling now! We’ve only told close family for now so it’s been tough not having anyone to talk to!
After 3 embryo transfers (IVF), we are pregnant (I am also on the Feb FET board)! Tested at home on Feb 7 & 9, confirmed by beta tests on Feb 11 & 13. This is my 3rd pregnancy: 1 have a DS who is 11, and one who is 8, fathered by my ex-husband (civil, shared custody). I am 39 and will be 40 in September. EDD is October 20th (yay, Libra!). My SO (hopefully soon to be DH) is 33 and has no children. As an AMA, I was honestly a bit scared to plunge back into having more children, but I absolutely adore this man and want for him to have the opportunity to father a child. He is so great to my boys, and he's a ginger so we'd be extra blessed to pass those genes along. We are excited, yet anxious after our 2 previous failed transfers. I have an US next Tuesday, and I can't wait to see and hear what's going on in there. I had some bleeding just prior to my first beta test, which made me anxious but since then, no issues. Feeling good lately - just sore breasts (which have accidentally gotten squished in hugs after sharing news with excited close friends) and ongoing Progesterone injections in my glute med are creating lumps and bruises which are often itchy and drive me mad. I have continued to CrossFit 2-3x weekly and still feel like my energy levels are ok. I just tone it down a couple notches. It took me a while to get through all the posts, but happy to hear your stories and be a part of this group.
Hi everyone, this is my first pregnancy. I'm extremely early though and my EDD is November 6th, but I didn't even get the option to choose an November forum. I'm praying nothing happens before the 12 week mark.
@vanessa_lynne (Fellow IVF'er here. 3rd FET success also - yay for us!) Those darn PIO shots. I feel your pain/lumps/itchiness! My hubby's been doing a great job but lately (now in our 4th week of them) my right side has been hurting way more than my left... 😒 5 weeks to go...
EDD 10/08. I started feeling nauseous just before I was supposed to get my period so I took a test and it was positive! 3rd pregnancy, 1 miscarriage, and I have a 15 month old daughter! I’m a SAHM and my husband works in sales. Not as nervous about miscarrying this time but I’m terrified about delivering!
HI! I’m pregnant with baby #3. I’m either due early nov or late oct, but I’ll have a c section so I am assuming I’ll have an oct baby. My appointment is March 23!
Hi ladies! I’m pregnant with #2 (I have a 3 year old daughter) and am due in early November. My first was 2 weeks early so I’m thinking it’ll be an October baby. I had an ectopic last year so I’m cautiously optimistic about this one. Hcg tripled over the last two days so things are looking good so far. First u/s scheduled for March 16th.
Hi! First time posting. First time mom. Ftm? I don't know the acronyms! Got a positive test 4 weeks ago, am currently 8.5 weeks, and am super excited! I never really understand how cool ultrasounds were until I had one. I love that there's such a big community of pregnant ladies out there! Just wanted to say congrats to everyone and I'm really happy to be part of this 😁
Hello all! Joining tentatively for now.... Hubs and I have been doing the infertility game for 15 years! We managed to have 2 boys via IVF, however after trying all meds and paths holistic and medical, we never were able to have any more kiddos... so we moved on, sold the baby stuff planned to adopt later, and were just living our best life... I expected my cycle around day 30/33 latest, i started having some symptoms but wrote it off as PMS, bc, infertile... low progesterone, bad eggs, PCOS, ect.... at day 36 i was very late and concerned, thinking it may be my thyroid being off, so i made an apt for a check, day 37, i took a pregnancy test, just to rule it out, but the doc always asks when your cycle is longer than 35 days, so i wanted that answer up front.... well i almost passed out when my test popped up positive before the control line had even got wet!
Shocked is not the right emotion or description... i panicked about how i live my life, lots of wine (we live in spain), and i fast 2 days a week in my Keto life, and here i was about 5 weeks pregnant.... so now i will see my doc Wednesday and have a test for HCG and progesterone, i have lost 9 babies over the years as late as 10 weeks, but here i am now.... stepping in with my toes, staying optimistic, and cautious... hoping to stay for the long haul!
Thanks for reading all this! Lol i know its a lot... congrats to you ladies!
Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses.... All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!
Hey y'all! I'm 25 and this is my first pregnancy! EDD 10/29. My large family doesn't have many October birthdays so I'm super excited that my baby will have a special birthday 🎉 How I found out...I was only a couple days late but between my work schedule and other events I knew that if I didn't go ahead a take the test I wouldn't get a better opportunity. I was sitting there scrolling through social media because I was 1000% sure of a negative. I glanced over and it was SUPER positive! I was speechless! So excited!
Hi. My edd is around October 25. I found out by peeing on a stick to see if I needed to bring pads to work. Then all the pieces fell into place. The constant peeing and tiredness etc. this is my fourth and my husbands second. We also have two fur kids that we adore. I’m mostly just a lurker. However I work in the construction trades as a floor coverer- so if anyone has advice or can point me to a post on being an expectant mom in the construction trades that would be most welcome. Thanks!
Hi everyone!! Just found out last Monday, had been having a lot of GI issues, was feeling super out of breath when exercising, moody, feeling bloated with a hard abdomen. I finally thought to test and it was so obvious in retrospect I'm at 6w4d today! Excited but nervous, my partner and I are 37 and 38, and this is a first for both of us! I'm still waiting to get in with an OBGYN but I went to the Dr last week just for the confirmation of pregnancy. We have been not trying, not preventing for a couple of years. I'd pretty much given up hope after years of trying actively with another partner several years ago. and now surprise! My due date per my last period, is 10/19 I'm so ready to know more and feel more peace of mind.
Hi! FTM, I’m due October 12th with twins. Pretty scared, also feeling extremely nauseous most of the time. I’m 32, my husband and I have been trying for about 2 years. I almost instantly knew I was having twins, my gut was just telling me and I was having crazy dreams about them. I’m currently in between doctors as the one I was going to keeps messing up. The ultrasound lady told me I’m having fraternal. The nurse practitioner tells me I’m having identical. They’re system always seems to be down, etc. so my husband and I were able to upgrade my health insurance and on April 1st it will be effective and I will be able to go to a much nicer facility, which makes me feel better since my pregnancy is high risk. Overall I’m excited, I’ve always wanted to be a mom.
Hi Everyone! I am due Oct 20th with baby #2. I'll be induced at 38 weeks so early October for me! I live in Colorado and have a son who turns 4 next month! I look forward to going on this journey with you all!
Hey ladies, I was first a part of N15 bump forum and loved the info and support there. My daughter is now four and will be thrilled when she finds out she has a sibling coming *finally*.
My EDD is October 20th. My pregnancy was a surprise and it has taken some getting used to if I’m being completely honest. My daughter’s father hasn’t seen her in two+ years and I’m very emotional about having a baby with my current SO and my daughter not being my only baby anymore. It’s definitely super different being pregnant when you already have one!
Feeling like poo 💩 but happy to be here and get to know you all!
@dedioni My DD turns 4 next month as well. Were you on the March 16 BMB? I also have the same due date as you. Now I’m curious what day is your son’s birthday is. Would be crazy to have another same date coincidence.
Hi everyone, I am Amanda. My husband and I have been married for almost 4 yrs and have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years consistently. I am a preschool teacher in Metro Detroit. I am probably about 5 weeks or so. I got a positive test yesterday. I called my husband who was helping a friend move and I was bawling my eyes out. I have PCOS so I wasn't sure natural pregnancy was in the cards for us. I had a blood draw at the beginning of january for my reproductive health doctor. It came back with a high glucose result, so I had to do a 3 hour glucose test and I did pass it. I am nervous about gestation diabetes now because of that scare before I was pregnant. Congrats to everyone here!!!
Hello all! EDD is October 26th. My husband and I recently got married on February 1, 2020. We knew we wanted to start having children immediately. Sure enough, I took several home tests after missing my period and all were positive!
I got my BFP last Sunday and have been reeling from the shock ever since. I am recently divorced (though we were separated for a year prior) and it appears my boyfriend and I made a big oops while on vacation early last month. I have a 9 y/o DD and 7 y/o DD twins as well. The shock is wearing off and the excitement is setting in...but to say I'm intimidated by starting this pregnancy in a less traditional way than I did with my daughters is an understatement.
