I'm mildly anemic (38.4 and they like to see 50) so I'm going to start taking iron. I'm hoping that might help my insane fatigue the tiniest little bit? But also, scared of constipation. Lol.
My nausea is still there but milder, I'm 8 weeks today. I was up at 530 to pee and of course didn't go back to sleep which is fine, gave me some time to get ready. All the cravings and all the hunger but nothing sounds good. Still no sore boobs! Also a bit of stuffiness, it's definitely pregnancy related because I don't feel a cold coming. I'm probably going to jinx myself but everyone around me has been sick and so far I'm still healthy, knock on wood.
I get some nausea some days and not others. I’m exhausted. I keep taking two hours naps daily. Sore boobs at the end of the day after leaving them on boob jail all day. The only random one for is I’m getting numbness in my fingers sometimes. The times I’ve noticed it was when I was hold a baby for a long period of time, kneading bread, and if I’m trying to hold up my kindle to read.
Anyone else’s arm pits feeling swampy. Last time I was pregnant I was using regular dove deodorant or something. I switched to Native deodorant about 2 years ago and it’s just not working well at all now that I’m pregnant 😲
@anitamargarita_82 not yet, but this happened last pregnancy. I had been using Native and it was not cutting it. I could smell myself 🤢. I switched to dove I think. I’ve been using Schmidt’s for sensitive skin and so far I’m ok, but I think warmer weather will do me in.
The boob pain hit me so hard today. Also, my first real nausea hit when my husband fed the dogs. Our older dog is on special canned food because he lost a lot of weight over the last year. It smells so, so bad. Now he just wants to cuddle in bed with me and I can still smell it...ugh...
I had such sore boobs with my last 2, this time none at all! I stopped nursing my 2yo less than a week before I got pregnant so I'm guessing that is why.
My B6 + Unisom combo is working really well to fight nausea this week (I wonder if it took a little time to build up?), until it wears off at like 4pm, then I feel awful until bedtime. Last night I made it until 9:30 though, which is late for me! I may ask doc for a prescription because I heard Diclegis and Bonjesta is the same as B6/Unisom, just extended release. Anyone taken either of these, did it work better than B6/Unisom?
I hadn’t realized how bad the breast soreness was until I went running yesterday in my usual sports bra and had to hold them down. Any thoughts on a solution? Much tighter sports bra? One with underwire?
I have a crazy amount of food aversions right now. I don't remember it being this bad with my last pregnancy. I have been avoiding the threads where people talk about food because just even reading about certain food makes me feel like I'm going to puke.
@pelomama the OTC version of Diclegis/Bonjesta didn’t work for me nearly as well as the time release. I’m surviving based on Bonjesta and Zofran as needed at the moment.
@anitamargarita_82 I don't feel swampy yet but my deodorant literally nauseates me so bad. I went through 5 different kinds last pregnancy and I'm really hoping I don't have to switch so much this time. I was going to try native but maybe I won't now lol.
I thought I was peeing a lot more... Apparently that wasn't frequently enough 😳
I’ve been having some of and on shoulder pain for the past week or so and it doesn’t feel muscular and I don’t think it’s cardiac because it’s worse when I’m sitting still and I don’t notice it when I’m being active. That coupled with severe abdominal pain last night I decided to call the OB this morning, but I’m pretty sure they think I’m a lunatic. Also, the abdominal pain subsided and wasn’t coupled with any bleeding so it was probably just gas.
Anyway, I don’t have high hopes anyone will take this seriously.
I'm 6w2d. This past weekend I felt pregnant - absolutely exhausted, queasy, sore boobs. Now this week I just feel a bit tired but otherwise don't really feel any other symptoms. I think that's normal for symptoms to come and go but it makes me nervous.
Are there any alternatives to ginger chews that include ginger? I hate the taste of ginger but my doc says its the best way to get rid of nausea. Does anyone know of a snack or drink that has ginger but doesnt taste like ginger at all? I hate ginger enough to barf.
@rescuepups Trader Joe's has a lemon/ginger water that to me just tastes like lemon and not ginger.
Current pregnancy - First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.
6 weeks 3 days. My 3rd pregnancy. Last night I woke from a dead sleep wanting vanilla ice cream. You bet your butt I sat half a sleep shoveling about 3 tablespoons worth into my mouth. Just got over extreme constipation. Tonight I ate all the tacos but the thought of most foods making me sick. 17 days until my first ultrasound.
Every song makes me cry. Commercials too. Woo hormones lol
Still no real nausea, but mild cramps for a week now. And some minor spotting yesterday which has me super stressed, called my doctor and he doesn't seem too worried, told me to come in if it gets worse. Slightly sore boobs, and emotions are starting to get out of control sometimes. I actually left work at lunch yesterday cause I didn't think I was fit to be in public haha, sooo glad I have a job where I can do that and work from home if needed.
I don't have any appetite the past few days, I don't remember if it was like that last time. As if my nipples weren't already struggling, like a complete idiot yesterday I dropped my razor in the shower and it literally fell and sliced my nipple open.. I'm in total disbelief that a falling razor could actually do that. I'm such a tragedy I swear. TW A mom on my private group had similar symptoms to mine and she just found out it's a MMC at 8 weeks... So now that lovely little seed of doubt has been growing all day. Ugh.
5+1 and finally do not feel as bloated as I’ve been all last week.
Mild cramping here and there that moves around.
Deep gnawing hunger if I don’t eat for a few hours.
My breast are sore on and off but they are constantly feeling bigger and more swollen. DH doesn’t seem to mind that part. Oh and my breast are itchy? Is that a thing?
I’m crying more easily while watching shows.
And the nose! I walked into an Italian restaurant the other night and the place smelled like rotting Parmesan. 😖
@hml9000 I had itchy boobs last time too! Nausea is back with a vengeance, no vomiting but it's so bad today! I guess I'm relieved, but I don't remember this with my son.
The vomiting and runs I had Monday and Tuesday totally disappeared by Wednesday and Thursday I felt mostly normal. I had decided it had to have been a stomach bug for sure that made me so miserable and I was relieved for that. The nausea set back in today which I always get. Then after dinner tonight the runs are back and the bubbling in my stomach and I swear it feels like I’m going to be up all night again puking my guts out. I really really wanted this hell to not actually be morning sickness. I never got the runs in first tri with my other two. And I rarely actually threw up. I just mostly spent the days sea sick and dry heaving.
Oh man @JLaVO888 that sounds miserable! FX it lightens up for you. You poor thing.
Has anyone developed dry skin and/or dandruff? I haven't had dandruff since I was a pre-teen, but I have major flakes going on in my bangs, and it was the first pregnancy symptom I noticed about a month ago. I've tried Head & Shoulders and it just isn't cutting it. And I'm constantly having to apply hand lotion because my knuckles are getting so dry. I'm hoping it's just because it's winter and it will subside as the season changes, but man, I feel ugly lol.
@babyodo I had the WORST dry skin with both of my other March babies. I always thought it was because they were third tri winter pregnancies. I had to get THICK vitamin E cream with no scents or dyes and DH would slather me head to toe every night. My skin would soak it up in about 2 minutes and it felt like I’d never even applied any lotion at all. I haven’t had the dandruff issue though. I love head and shoulders though because I always get an itchy scalp. There is a sensitive/itchy skin one that I really like.
@babyodo I had insanely dry skin on my face for a while. I have oily skin on my face so I knew it wasn't just winter, so I bought an extra hydrating moisturizer. My knuckles are grossly dry on their own in the winter though!
@psmk521 😩 I'm so sad at how dumb I am lol @babyodo before I got pregnant I had quite a bit of flaky scalp from hormonal changes etc, I had really good luck with scalp scrubs/masks, I hope you find something to help, hair troubles are no fun
Lurking here because I'm technically a November 3 due date but we don't have a board and I've never made it past 38 weeks, so I'm probably going to be an october mom. I may intro here. We'll see.
Just wanted to tell the moms who are pregnant and nursing - I nursed my son throughout my pregnancy with my daughter then tandem nursed for about 12 weeks. My boobs never got sore until I was in labor and away from my nursing son. I did notice a dip in supply though.
Bonus: he had a major growth spurt from the newborn milk that comes in the first couple weeks. I also never had any clogged ducts or engorgement because if i felt backed up he was way more efficient than any pump at getting things flowing again.
11/27/12 First Child born

11/14 Chemical Pregnancy
9/5/15 Second after severe bleeding for 18 weeks due to subchorionic hematoma
@babyodo Dry skin is definitely a thing I’m experiencing especially my hands, legs and scalp. No dandruff at the moment but super itchy because if the dryness. The weird think is that my face is the total opposite. It’s been an oil slick lately.
I’m really hoping this mind numbing exhaustion goes away when the second trimester gets here. I legit took a two hour nap this afternoon and I’m still so tired. I’m not generally one to take naps, but it’s become unavoidable at this point.
@troyandkaylee we sound very similar. Due date February 1st had spotting and bleeding on the 20th as well. I also had a silent miscarriage with my first pregnancy. I find it hard not to keep over analyzing things. I was having pretty noticeable symptoms sorr boobs, slight nausea, super hot all the time, mood swings, then I got a cold. Now for the past 2 days I feel like it's gone. Kind of worried. Hoping it's just because of the cold I'm not having anything else. Keep me updated with how things go for you.
I cannot sleep! I had to take a day off of work because I have gone two days with only a few hours sleep. I tried to sleep more and took only a small nap. I am so tired. I am 7 weeks. Hopefully this is a phase.
@blt4820 I feel your pain. I spent last night watching the clock. I made it to work but I warned my supervisor I might end up leaving early.

Keep in mind, friends, that a lack of a period is a sign that you're pregnant. You've come this far without a period, and that means something. *hugs*
