@babyodo (yay, new name!) mine isn't until 9 weeks. They can see me sooner but it won't be covered unless something is wrong. As I mentioned I think in another thread I'm toying with the idea to go to this ultrasound place run by a midwife to get peace of mind at 7 weeks. But then part of me prefers to be at a doctor's office in case something is wrong?? But then it's a long wait until then?? So many feelings! I get that 6 weeks might even be early but 7 would be nice. That's usually about 2ish weeks from when most people find out
Hi all. Kelsey here - I got my first ever BFP on 2/8 (3weeks+2days). Me EDD is 10/22. I'm living in Arizona but I'm from New Jersey. My husband and I have been trying for 4 months and are so very blessed, nervous and excited for this journey. I am currently waiting to hear back from the blood test, which if it's all good news I feel like I can finally breathe a little. As a plus size women, I'm a bit nervous. This has been the longest week of my life, and I just can't wait for our first prenatal visit. I've had some minor queasiness since I found out and headaches most days. I was also getting over the flu when I found out, yuck. Anyway, looking forward to being a part of this community and learning everything there is to know about pregnancy and becoming a mom.
I am pregnant with our fourth. This was a SHOCK. We had a horrible 2019, bordering on the D word. Since about August, we’ve been in the best place ever. We did it once in January and that was enough because on 1/31 I got a positive. I’m still in shock, maybe denial. I will finish my Masters degree in June and with baby due 10/5, I don’t even know if I’ll be able to go back to work.
My older children are almost 8, almost 5, and 2 1/2. I gave birth to the baby 3 weeks into my grad program, and now I get to finish my grad program at 22 weeks pregnant.
Also, huge Disney fan here. I chose not to go to graduation, and instead go to Disneyland and wear a Mickey Mouse grad hat with pride.
Hi all! I am 30, live in Indiana, and have a DD who turned 18 mo yesterday, so this will be my second. I just got my IUD out on 1/13 to start trying for a second and cycle started right away. Got a negative test on day 25 and day 29, so I was gearing up for another cycle and just ordered a bunch of ovulation tests. 🤦 Then, I tested again today at day 32 because I have an event with alcohol tonight and got a positive!!! Due date should be 10/22 but I'm pretty sure I ovulated late since day 29 test was negative. I'm so shocked but so so happy. A little more about me, DH and I are both in medicine. I am still super involved in my Aug18 BMB and can't wait to get to know you all!
Hi ladies! I'm Amanda. I'm sort of new here - I was active in online communities back in fall of 2017, as that was our first pregnancy. Unfortunately it ended in a loss at 12w, and we just got our first real, viable BFP on Feb 1st, 3 years after starting the TTC journey. No meds or interventions, it wasn't something we wanted to try, this was just "natural" for lack of better word. My husband and I live in south Florida with our two dogs, and we just closed on our first home yesterday! It seems like 2020 will be our year for sure! My EDD is around October 10th/11th...I'm 5w7d today, and we get our first scan next week at 6w4d (the scan happens to be on my husband's birthday, so please wish us luck)!
BFP 2/1/2020, double rainbow due 10/10/2020
BFP 9/12/2017, complete molar pregnancy dx 10/17/2017, D&Cx2 and chemo October 2017 through January 2018
Hello all. Wanted to introduce myself tentatively. Found out we were positive on 1/24, couple of days before my period. We are cautiously optimistic as we had a miscarriage on 2/28 and 11/27 of last year. We weren’t planning and were going to give my body time to heal. Mom to two, DS 4.5 and DD almost 3.
My name is Courtney! I’m due Oct 7 by my calculations. Im married and have a 3yo. I’m still really active with my January 17 BMB- it’s amazing the friendships you form going through the same stages of motherhood together. I work in hospitality, and love to hike, garden and read.
Hi everyone! Another Massachusetts resident in the group, we live in the town that the New England Patriots call home which is very exciting during football season!
I've been lurking in TTGP for a few months but never posted. I’m 37 and my husband is 41 and I found out two nights ago I was pregnant. We had been trying for a few months and someone recommended using an OPK and I realized my ovulation was later than I thought and surprisingly we got pregnant the first month using the OPK.
We have a DS who turned four this past December, I was in the D15 group when I was pregnant with him. I’m cautiously optimistic because I’m worried about my age and my husband’s age in relation to having a healthy pregnancy.
I’m looking forward to checking out the Disney thread as we’re leaving for Disney next weekend. First visit for our son and probably last big vacation for a few years.
Happy to meet everyone!
ETA: I think my due date will be around Oct 25th but that’s just based on what the Ovia app is telling me.
Hi everyone! Excited to join the group. DH & I are from CA and are expecting #2 on October 18. DD is 3 years old. We’ve been trying for awhile but actively tracking cycles for about a year now. We had recently came to terms with DD being our one and only but 2 days before Valentines Day, something told me this was it. I ran off to the store on my lunch break and took the test that evening! DH got an early Valentine’s surprise the following day. We’re so thankful! Last pregnancy was high risk since I had gestational diabetes so fingers are crossed this one goes a bit smoother. Wishing all you ladies a happy and healthy 9 months!
@morethanamama just reading back through intros to try to figure out who everyone is and saw you have an 18 mo. We're you in Jul18 BMB? I am in Aug18 so we must have just missed each other!
Hello! First time mama. EDD is 10/11/2020. Peed on a stick a little over a week ago! My husband and I live in Bellingham, Wa. We are so excited but also super nervous about everything. We are the first on both sides of our families to have a baby. A coworker told me about this app/ community and I’m excited to have people to connect and relate to because none of my friends are married or having babies yet.
@carrotsandpeas3 yes! I was. My EDD was 7/7 and he ended up being just a few days early. We're still good buddies over on FB our littles must be super close in age! So terrified about adding more craziness but also so excited at the same time 😆
@morethanamama yes! My DD was born 8/14 so right around a month apart. I was due 8/11 but went past due. I'm still very involved in my FB group too! And a spreadsheet sounds great.
Hi there! Cautiously dipping my toes in the water here. EDD 10/21. We have 6 year old b/g twins from IVF years ago. Decided to try for another with one of our frozen embryos, so here we are.
Oh and we’re in TX- although my username probably gave that away
EDD is 10/22/20. Trying not to get my hopes up since I just had another early loss in December. My first PPT was on Valentine's; since my last PPT was on Halloween apparently I like to get pregnant on holidays.
I'm a clinical psychologist working in prisons. I have cats. I like to do diamond paintings while watching TV and petting cats. I'm dull.
If this one takes, it will be my first kid. I'm AMA - 41 right now. I live in California with my co-parent.
Current pregnancy - First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.
Good morning! I'm 31, DH is 38, married for a little more than a year but together for 5 years before that. We just found out, but I am feeling cautiously optimistic so I decided to intro here. Had a very faint line on FRER Saturday night which got darker yesterday, and this morning I was able to turn a CB digital, so this is starting to feel real!
EDD is ~10/29. It is still very early, but if this one sticks this will be my first. Getting excited!
Also, for anyone lurking from TTGP, I just want you to know that you all are amazing. I learned so much from you and I truly do not think I would be here without you. Your help and support the last couple of months has been invaluable to me and I hope you all get to graduate very soon!
@moniqueheaston - I was born in Bellingham! I graduated from Ferndale HS but was a county kid, lived in Custer and could have gone to either Blaine, Lynden, or Ferndale.
I told myself if I made it to 5 weeks I had to stop lurking and introduce myself, so here I am! My EDD is 10/19, though I suspect I ovulated a few days early due to my BFP a little earlier than anticipated.
I am 29 and live in MI with my husband and our 2.5 year old son. I was semi-active on the September 2017 board. I was an elementary teacher until I recently started working part-time at a pediatric rehabilitation facility as an academic specialist.
I am very excited to be here but as I learned in my previous pregnancy, I get super nervous especially in the first trimester (but usually throughout the pregnancy in general). I am hoping to chill out and enjoy this pregnancy (thinking this will be our last if all goes well)!
Hi!! EDD is 10/10/20! We have 2 DD 3.5 and 1.5 years old! We live in central Pennsylvania. I have known we are pregnant for 3 weeks because I’m a planner and have a hard time being spontaneous. I have never participated in these posts before, hoping to this time around.
Hi everyone! Had my first FET and am pregnant for the first time! Me and DH are both 32 and beyond excited and nervous as well. We live in CT and are in the medical field. I am 5+2 weeks today with EDD 10/17/20. Looking forward to be on this journey with you all.
Hi everyone! My name is Ali! And I am over the moon to be having my first little one. My estimate due date is October 1st! I'm 23, and married to my best friend! We can't wait to go to the doctor on March 4th, it seems like its taking forever! I am almost 8 weeks! 🙂😬
I just got my bfp tonight! My edd is technically Nov 1, but I will probably go early like I did with my first. This is my second pregnancy. My ds is 7! So I am basically starting over lol.
Ahh I'm nervous! Hi everyone! I'm a first time mom. I'm estimated to be due 10/09 based on my last period! I really like this eventful community you've built and its nice to be surrounded by others who are either also experiencing their 1st child being born, or are having their 2nd or so and are here willing to share their experiences and guide us newbies!
According to app I'm due 10/16... if everything goes well this will be our 4th child, 7th pregnancy.... my youngest is 23 months, he'll be 2 on March 8 and my girls are 3 and 7 also born in October... This baby will make 4 birthdays in October for us as my birthday is October 2, my oldest is October 9 and my 3 year old is October 11 and now a due date of October 16... This pregnancy was NOT planned as I was on the pill since summer of last year. Took a test this sunday as my period never came the week of the placebo pills so here I am.👋
Hi! I saw someone a few pages back that is in my same boat but TB is glitching for me and won't let me go back- maybe @itsnotmine?! Anyway, I'm a gestational carrier as well and our due date is 10/11 but we will likely deliver on either 10/2 or 10/5 because I'll be having a repeat c-section. I have 3 babes of my own, my youngest being a year and a half. Nice to meet you all!
(Forever) lurking.... @fitzfizz stop it!!!! Yes, girl!!!!! I am so very happy for you!!!! But I will surely miss you over on TTGP land! ❤️❤️❤️ Wishing you so many wonderful things for these next 9 months!!
