Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding out (gut says pink)
Baby is the size of a(n): Lime
Upcoming appointments: Thursday, NT scan and NIPT draw
How are you feeling? Mostly good. Still have a funky appetite and weird aversions that come and go rapidly.
Raves/Rants: I am so looking forward to Thursday’s appointment. This month has dragged on forever because I’ve been so excited/anxious for it. Going to try to keep myself busy this week to pass the time.
Questions: None.
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? Disney. It’s been so fun seeing what each of my kids love when we go. Also, I’m praying for a little thrill seeker because neither one of my two have any interest in the fast rides currently.
How are you feeling?: All day nausea is the pits, but I am STARVING all the time. I've been able to stomach some meat a little bit the past two days so that has been hype for me. I'm starting to feel less tired, maybe... I can't tell.
Raves/Rants: I ate a steak taco. It was a fantastic steak taco. Honestly I was just so relieved to eat meat. Also, I just want to sleep without my hips hurting again. I folded up a pillow in a case between my knees for last night and that seemed to help some but snaps I don't remember it being uncomfortable to sleep this soon last time.
Questions: Nada
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby?: I'd honestly never considered this, mostly I'm ready to have my baby, and then have my whole little family together. I'm still in this weird place where I know I will love my children differently but equally, but I can't help but wonder and fear if I'll ever love anyone as much as my first born. She's my mini, she's my adventurer, she's basically my universe and we do all the things together.. I can't imagine anyone more perfect. Also she's already yearning to be the perfect big sister, bringing out her older toys and talking about which ones a baby brother or sister might like.. she's making her own shopping list of things baby will need, it's heart-breakingly adorable.
How are you feeling? Same old, same old. Vomiting in the morning and nausea that comes and goes. Very tired. Restless sleep.
Raves/Rants: Raves- having the ultrasound last Friday was so nice. My son turns 1 in a little less than 2 weeks and we are telling family then. I'm so excited to for that! Rant- I am coming down with a cold. Stuffy nose... Wahhhh
Questions: none
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? This is a good question! My son is still so young that I feel like we have not had a chance to make family traditions yet. Which is exciting that we still have so much as a family to establish. If I had to pick something I would say the zoo! It is something that my baby and I did weekly in the summer and I look forward to having two little ones wandering the zoo with me every summer.
How are you feeling? Somewhat I back to normal. Still tired but the nausea is gone so that's awesome. I've only ever thrown up one time with each pregnancy. It's never in the first trimester and it's always totally random so we'll see.
Raves/Rants: it's a 4 day work week so hurray! I officially have a job interview on February 20th for my dream job so fingers crossed! I wouldn't be concerned except I'm worried being pregnant will affect their desire to hire me.
Questions: not at the moment.
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby?
Just to continue the traditions we have in place with my boys. Pumpkin patches, aquariums, museums, beach trips, outdoor life, etc.
Upcoming appointments: NIPT draw in 10 days, NT scan at 12w
How are you feeling? Okay, just PGAL brain still in my head...
Raves/Rants: Getting ready to announce to DHs family Saturday, but still scared as heck about going public
Questions:
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? I remember seeing the Nutcracker ballet and lots of symphony concerts, even backstage tours when I was a kid. It will be a while tho till they are old enough, but I look forward to seeing if there are any toddler events we can maybe try.
Upcoming appointments: Today! Declining genetic testing but excited for the check in.
How are you feeling? Very nauseous! Hits harder at night but glad I’m not vomiting. I’m also tired and somewhat moody. Always hungry.
Raves/Rants: Only my hubby and 2 bffs know that I am pregnant but I’m DYING to tell our families. I’m starting to show and feel like I can’t wait any longer. We are planning to tell everyone in 2 wks.
Questions:None
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? Easter! That’s the only holiday we host because We live on a ranch vs. everyone else who lives in the city. I can’t wait for our family to add one more (3rd child for us) to this fun day.
Upcoming appointments: Jan 30 for another u/s, NIPT draw and dr.
How are you feeling? Ok. Im still really tired, but my nausea has been less, which is super exciting. I don't really have an appetite tho.
Raves/Rants:
Questions:
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? Im excited about doing beach trips. We're go every year to St. George Island with my FIL. Ds1 loves it. We're haven't been able to go since I was pregnant with ds2. I'm ready see them discover sand and water and ocean life.
Baby is the size of a(n): baby sea turtle shell. seriously, bump app?
Upcoming appointments: blood draw this week for NIPT. I've never been so excited for a needle prick!
How are you feeling? Still in the thick of it with nausea/vomiting/exhaustion/crankiness
Raves/Rants: Rave: We are starting to tell more people and finding out in return that some of our friends are expecting too! I can't wait for all the babies.
Questions: N/A
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? Not really a tradition, but I'm excited for all the matching outfits. I've already starting hoarding some matching gender neutral things. This is the main reason I can't wait for the NIPT results (besides making sure it's a healthy baby).
Raves/Rants: Raves: the lady that did my NIBT today was so good at her job. They took a lot of blood for my standard bloodwork too and it was NBD. We’ve started telling people which is exciting.
Questions:
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? Camping! We enjoy going with both sides of our families.
Upcoming appointments: I can go in for NIPT blood work Jan. 31, but I'll probably ask them to wait to give us the results in person at my next appointment on 2.13.
How are you feeling? Pretty good. I am thankful to be past the worst of the nausea. Still having food aversions, constipation, and burping all the time. I also have no energy. But I'm less bloated this week than last!
Raves/Rants: Rave: I've been enjoying telling people we're close to. We're telling my mom tonight (hopefully)! We had planned to tell her last night but she wasn't feeling well, so I hope she'll be up for a visit today. Rant: Due to a long story of complications getting our washer and dryer delivered, we haven't been able to do laundry since before Christmas I'm running out of clothes and all the dirty laundry is stressing me out. They were finally delivered a few days ago, but now we're struggling to fit them in our teeny tiny laundry closet. We measured to see if they'd fit, but we didn't account for having to reach down past the dryer to plug it in... Smh. It has been a mess. But anyway, we ordered a longer power cord and vent hose, so fingers crossed those work before I run out of underwear.
Questions: Inspired by @tyrion_ 's post: do you (or did you with a previous pregnancy) have a gut feeling about your baby's gender? And for STM's, were you right? I don't have a feeling one way or another, though I'm sure I'll still make a guess before finding out just to add to the fun.
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? Aw, that's a cute question. This is a simple one, but I'm excited for reading before bed. I've always loved children's books and their wonderful illustrations, so I can't wait to build our little one's library. I'm also looking forward to trips to the public library when they're old enough. I have fond memories going there with my grandma.
Upcoming appointments: Had one today for the NT scan and NIPT draw and it went really well!
How are you feeling? Tired and achey, but the nausea seems to be getting better.
Raves/Rants: Raves: I just had a really great day today. Had the day off so I took a nap, took care of errands, had lunch with friends, and got to see the baby wiggling around.
Rants: I went running yesterday and even though I felt fine during the run, as soon it was over my hips and pelvis hurt SO bad. Like I sat down and immediately felt the area spasming. Luckily it feels better today. My MDW said to try wearing a belly band while running to help keep everything in place.
Questions: @faith_2911 I was sure DS was a girl until the anatomy scan. This time, I have a feeling and it lines up with the US tech’s educated guess based on nub theory. I guess I will find out if she’s right in a couple of weeks when we get the blood test results!
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? @WishesSheCouldCook I’m excited to take my kids camping too! We have had a lot of fun camping with another family we met in DS’s newborn group. They’re having their second child this year too so I’m looking forward to going with a bunch of kids. I love being able to relax and unplug in nature.
@faith_2911 my initial gut feeling has been correct with both my kids. And this time my pregnancy feels so similar to my daughter’s and it lines up with my initial intuition so i‘m pretty convinced.
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: finding out with NIPT
Baby is the size of a(n): tater tot!
Upcoming appointments: unknown. I’m so frustrated right now. The phones and computers went down at my OB’s practice before my appt. last Thursday, and they’re still not up today. This is right around the time of my loss back in July (MMC) and I’m feeling anxious despite a good ultrasound at seven weeks. They can’t reschedule me yet since the computers are still down so I have no clue when I’ll be seen next. Worst case scenario, I have an NT scan scheduled with a MFM doctor Feb. 6 and my NIPT sometime around then too (I’ll be 12 weeks).
How are you feeling? Anxious, fatigued, nauseous, bad insomnia (tossing and turning all night)
Raves/Rants: rant- see above. This is all so freaking unprofessional. I can’t believe they still haven’t fixed their technical issues. It’s making me seriously consider switching practices, but I at least want to get through my scheduled NT scan first.
Second rant- I’ve been prescribed Diclegis for the insomnia and nausea, but my insurance doesn’t cover it ($800 out of pocket). I guess I’ll go the Unisom and B6 route, though that’s not time release. Boo.
Questions: For those of you getting NIPT testing, how many weeks will you be when you get your blood drawn? Just curious.
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? I can’t think of anything at the moment. Brain freeze. I guess I’m just most excited to see the baby interact with DD and for the first time they meet.
@babytimeagain It is seriously unbelievable that your OB hasn’t fixed their issues yet! What are they doing if a patient goes into labor or has an emergency? In answer to your question, my practice does the NIPT at 12 weeks.
@babytimeagain Holy cow, I can’t believe you’re still dealing with that! I’m so sorry for the extra hassle on top of your PGAL anxiety. I hope they resolve it ASAP. As for the NIPT, my OB gave me the script for it at my 8 week appointment with instructions to do after 10 weeks. But I do my NIPT draw through my high risk OB which will be at 11w6d.
@babytimeagain I can’t believe they don’t have a solution to this yet. Wishing you peaceful thoughts. I did my NIPT today at 10w1. OB said anything after 9w was fine. I am doing the maternit21
@babytimeagain that is ridiculous I would be so frustrated! I hope they get the issue resolved soon.
EDD/weeks+days: 11+2
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding out
Baby is the size of a(n): Lime
Upcoming appointments: I had one today. The next one is 2/17.
How are you feeling? I haven’t had nausea, which I’m thankful for, but I have had some headaches this week. When I’m not pregnant or breastfeeding Excedrin helps, but Tylenol does not work for me so I guess I just have to deal with it.
Raves/Rants: Finally got to see baby today and it seems so much more real now! We just told our nanny too.
Questions: Anyone know of any good medicine-free headache remedies?
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? I’m just excited for general outings we already like to do with our toddler, like the zoo or the park.
@babytimeagain that’s insane. My dad is a tech manager for IT for a hospital and he’d be reamed out if that was his responsibility. Insane they don’t have it fixed
EDD/weeks+days: 12+1
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: I want green. H wants to know. 🤷♀️
Baby is the size of a(n): lime
Upcoming appointments: had nt scan today
How are you feeling? Moments come and go. Had a really bad episode of heart palpitations today that woke me from a nap and left me feeling super shaky, anxious and reminded me of when I’d go off my heart meds with my first pregnancy. I feel like I’ll inevitably be back at a cardiologist; it’s just a matter of when. @kgrgreen how’s your heart doing?
Raves/Rants: a lot of indigestion and nausea has chilled out. My sensitivity to blood sugar and being hungry seems to have amped up so I really need to be on top of that.
Questions: n/a
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? im not sure exactly.

Baby is the size of a(n): strawberry? Don't remember
Upcoming appointments: Jan. 27
How are you feeling? Nausia most of the day most days, tired, but can't sleep more than about 6 hours a night.
Raves/Rants: I still haven't had my first appointment and never feel great until the appointment. Always wondering and questioning if everything is ok.
Questions: none at this point
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? I love reading books with my kids and have a decent kids library in my house . I'm looking forward to Christmas Eve. My favourite holiday and I'm off work so I find I do so much more with my kids then. Happy busy time of year and Christmas Eve day is just for my little family.
@babytimeagain That must be so frustrating! That is such a long time for computers to be down... especially at a medical practice. How wild. I'm sorry you're having to deal with all that.
My NIPT will most likely be at 10+3. The nurse practitioner said I could have it done starting a little past 10 weeks.
My dr won’t let me do NIPT (Harmony) before 11 weeks but anytime shortly after that is fine.
@annabanana051416 do you still drink caffeine or did you change your caffeine intake since becoming pregnant? That tends to be a big factor for headaches. But you can take a caffeine pill (I take 1/4 pill but you can take 1/2 if it’s really bad) with your Tylenol and it should help. Also try managing diet and hydration (hard enough when you feel like crap, I know). And acupuncture is great for headaches if you can fit it into your schedule.
@faith_2911 I was beyond confident it was a girl last time and it was. This time I thought boy because the pregnancy feels very different, but that’s coming more from a place of logic than my gut. I’ve also heard MS tends to be worse with girls, but it’s way worse this time for me so idk.
@RedBaramid I’m right there with you about the hips and being so uncomfortable at night. I thought it was too soon for all of this as well.
@riatortillaxo not because of purposeful planning, but we have noticed that my daughter has been a zoo in a different state every since she was born. At six months we flew to Jacksonville fl to visit a friend and went to their zoo. The next year we went to the dc zoo. And this pat year we’ve been to two zoos in West Virginia. Now we are purposely planning zoo trips in the future to continue this tradition.
@faith_2911 I’m always wrong when it comes to predicting the baby sex. I thought boy the first time, my husband knew in his gut that it was a girl and he was right. This time are both saying boy. I think boy because this pregnancy has been so different. I was going to ask him this week if he is still sticking with boy. We read every night before bed. Once we got out infant routine down I brought the books into our nightly routine. If I don’t read her a book because it’s way past bed time she loses her shit, so we always read. Depending on the book and the time, I will read her two books and then she picks one to “read” on her own. It’s super cute and I love it. We also did the “books instead of a card” for our shower as well.
I love how nothing is consistent across the board. I first did the NIPT at 10+1 because I was first told any time after ten weeks. And then I had to do it again because the earliest you can get that done is 10+4. @babytimeagain. Also, I don’t know how you are handling that issue. What are they doing for emergencies? They can pen and ink appointments and do everything old school until it’s fixed. This would make me second think them though. I understand that some things are out of people’s control, but I feel like there is always a work around that can be used.
EDD/weeks+days: August 2/ 12+2
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: team finding out. Hopefully later this week.
Baby is the size of a(n): lime
Upcoming appointments: Thursday!
How are you feeling? Pretty good
Raves/Rants: I’m excited to see the baby this week. I’m also hoping that my doctor will tell me the results on the tests during the appointment. The wait is just killing me. Oh and I’ve thought about buying a round pool floaty and blowing it up so I can sleep on my belly. I haven’t don’t it in so long because the bloat was so uncomfortable at first. I miss it already.
Questions: none at the moment.
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? When we had our daughter, we said that we would take off work/school for their birthday and spend the day doing whatever they want with them. We plan to continue this in the future with this child as well.

@sarah0985 I'm feeling a lot like you rn... I remember the 1st tri wasn't bad last time and was more of an annoyance. But my symptoms really ramped up in the 2nd. That's when the head rushing started and the cardiologist told me I was going to die if I didn't take the propranolol (he had NO bedside manner). I work with a lady who goes to my same cardiologist. She has similar problems but he told her to increase her sodium intake. That may be something I try to be aware of if my symptoms start getting worse.

Baby is the size of a(n): a rubik's cube
Upcoming appointments: Next Monday for blood draw, possibly NIPT
How are you feeling? Good. I have a cold but not associated with PG. I feel like my belly is starting to be noticeable beyond being "holiday weight".
Raves: Felt like a BOSS yesterday. I got so much done on my day off! Also managed to squeeze in some me-time and got a massage. Ready for the week!
Questions: none
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? Regardless of anything else we do in the year, we always go to Columbus. We love their zoo and it's not too far for a long weekend getaway. This year, DD is old enough to try their science center (COSI) and I think she'll be really into it. Christmas is also really big for us but LO will be too little this year.
@babytimeagain Wow at the system being down, and double wow at the $800 price tag for your meds! That's wild. I wonder why insurance won't cover it?
@kgrgreen So jealous of your massage. I don't even remember the last time I escaped the house just by myself. I love being able to be home with my kiddos, but when it's all kids, all the time, I start to go a little stir crazy. A massage sounds heavenly! Also, grew up with the Columbus Zoo myself! It's always been a family favorite.
@lachnessmomster Girl, do it!! I started monthly massages in October and I have no regrets. I get tension headaches so they help me, but I don't ever put myself first since DD was born and it was time. Self-care, mama It probably won't continue after this babe is born but it's good relaxation time now and like to think it's helping me create my little being.
EDD/weeks+days: Aug 23. 9 1/2 weeks. Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Not sure yet. Leaning towards finding out. Didn't with the last two but did with the first two. This one is a surprise and we have no baby stuff anymore! Baby is the size of a(n): Cherry. Upcoming appointments: Feb 2 How are you feeling? Started taking unisom/B6 and feel totally different. Nausea is almost 100% better except in the late evenings. Raves/Rants: n/a Questions: Anyone else take unisom/B6 or Diclegis and suddenly have no symptoms? It's early enough that I worry now that I'm feeling so much better that something might be wrong. But I still gag and can smell everything. I think I went through this with #4 too which is when I discovered unisom/B6 but I can't remember perfectly. GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? Just looking forward to welcoming them into the family. The "big" kids don't know yet and I can't wait to tell them. They'll be so excited. We told them no more!
@babytimeagain OMG I cannot believe they are still experiencing tech issues and cancelling appointments. What a nightmare! I agree and would seriously consider looking for another practice. Hope this gets resolved shortly and you don't have to wait too long to be seen!
EDD/weeks+days: 8/27 8w5d
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding out!
Baby is the size of a(n): raspberry/gummybear
Upcoming appointments: Today!!! Leaving work early and cannot wait to see the doctor. This is the first time meeting with the doctor and am looking forward to learning everything and having all my questions answered!
How are you feeling? Pretty good. I was able to get two walks in on the treadmill incline and feel like that may have helped even out the hormones a bit? I don't feel as nauseous except at night and I'm definitely less bloated. Still super tired though... had interrupted sleep this weekend and hoping that goes away because I really need the sleep!!
Raves/Rants: Posted my rant in the TW Tuesday thread... Raves are both of the above
Questions:
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? This is a toughy as there are so many things I'm excited to do... reading to baby, going to this park/zoo that I went to with my grandmother growing up, going to the beach like MH did with his family, creating our own Halloween and Christmas traditions.
Me: 33 DH: 36 Dating 4/2008 Married 6/2016 TTC #1 9/2019 BFP 12/13/2019! EDD 8/27/2020 Baby Girl
How are you feeling? Very similar to last pregnancy. Craving fruit and tuna sandwiches 🤷
Raves/Rants: I tried these Skinny Cow ice cream cones last night that were amazinggg. Hard not to eat the whole box. 😂
Questions: none rn
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? Holidays are big for us and Halloween is my husband's favorite. I can't wait to bring baby into our family costume themes! (Also have a son who will be 3 when baby is born so there are so many ideas with a family of four!)
@kgrgreen I love your Columbus weekend getaway idea. I lived in Columbus for a little bit and I loved going to Cosi even as an adult! We try to get down there at least once a year for an Ohio State game. I might still your idea and make a family weekend getaway out of a football weekend!
Oh man, an ice cream sandwich sounds amazing right now.

Baby is the size of a(n): lime
Upcoming appointments: 1/27 for ultrasound finally!
How are you feeling? My nausea has really disappeared but now I'm exhausted by 5pm. Yesterday I fell asleep on the couch around 5, woke up at 8:45, and then went straight to bed and slept all night.
Raves/Rants: We are finally telling our parents this weekend, and I can't wait. It has been so hard to keep this a secret.
Questions:
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? I can't wait to have baby here for my favorite time of the year: September through December. Fall is my favorite season so I can't wait to have a little one to take with me on fall walks, or to go apple picking, or at Thanksgiving if I feel up to hosting it!
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: not finding out until delivery! This is our 3rd and we have one of each, we we just want to be surprised
Baby is the size of a(n): Lime
Upcoming appointments: just had my NT scan and first trimester blood draw last week and everything looked good. Next is just a regular appointment on feb 13.
How are you feeling? Finally starting to feel more normal. I still get nauseous at night though.
Raves/Rants: NT scan and first trimester blood draw looked great! My cyst that had grown to over 5cm shrunk last week back down to 4cm, so I’m excited that it’s going away on its own. I’m excited to almost be in the second trimester!
Questions: none
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? Nothing in particular, I’m just really excited to see how my other kids (will be 4.25 and 2.25yrs) react to having a new baby in the family.
@gomillis I had never heard of the nub theory until you mentioned it. I looked at our ultrasound from 11+4, and I’m thinking girl, which is what I thought after seeing baby’s profile because it looks more like my daughter’s than my son’s. So interesting!
Upcoming appointments: NT scan, basic genetic testing 2/10 (we declined the other blood tests as my insurance doesn't cover)
How are you feeling? Nausea is still there, but the B6/unisom has really helped so I am relieved about that. Also bloated and exhausted/want to go to bed at 5PM every day.
Raves/Rants: Rave: Leaving soon for a family vacation to California! Will be a nice break from the ice and snow. But a little nervous about taking DD (2 years old) on a 5 hour plane ride/3 hour time change.
Questions: None right now
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? Haven't quite thought this far ahead yet, but I suppose just excited to expand our family in general and that these babies are due in the summer! (I live in Michigan...so our summers give us LIFE)
@ziggymama06 I forgot to answer your questions last week. Did you make it to yoga? I was planning to but didn't. The class I want to try is 1 hour 15 min, starting at 7:15pm. That's about 30 minutes before my bedtime these days haha. Hoping to do it soon!
@kgrgreen I also got a massage yesterday! It was my first pre-natal massage and very relaxing (also my first time using a pregnancy pillow and I was v. into it). Definitely felt like a treat, but hoping to find a way to keep it up throughout the pregnancy.
@blackgirlmagic I've been thinking about you and your NIPT. Are we the only ones currently waiting on results? Can't wait for us to hear back I agree that it seems like the guidance on when to do it is all over the place, but I think I needed to be 11w5d.
EDD/weeks+days: 8/7; 11w4d
Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Finding out (hopefully this week!)
Baby is the size of a(n): Lime
Upcoming appointments: Next Tuesday. I think I'm just hearing the heartbeat and won't get an ultrasound, but that would be nice. Once that visit happens I think I'll feel ready to share more broadly.
How are you feeling? Overall pretty good. Nausea has been a bit worst these past few days after letting up for a few weeks. I'm soo curious if the hardening I'm feeling in my belly is the start of the bump or just bloat. As I get closer to the end of the first trimester I'm feeling excited and anxious in equal measure.
Raves/Rants: Rants: Did it to myself, but volunteered to take on a pop-up work trip this past weekend. It was a good professional opportunity, but kind of stressful. I think I was feeling a little nervous about the ways my life is about to change and wanted to be able to be the one to drop everything and go while I still can. But it wore me out and left me behind on some other projects. I think it was a good lesson that I actually need to start ramping down now, even before baby is here.
Rave: Pregnancy pillow comes tomorrow... very excited! And finally feeling hopeful about daycare... I have two good options that I feel comfortable with.
Questions: none at the moment!
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? My extended family lives all over the country, and every summer we have a family reunion in Florida. I'm going to end up missing this year, but I get so excited thinking about taking baby in future years. The new generation has two other kids so far, and I have a feeling there will be more on the way soon, and I can't wait to watch them all grow up together.
How are you feeling? Very gassy, but constipation is starting to leave. Nausea has also started to subside, maybe it's due to my new probiotics...?
Raves/Rants: Rave: Just excited to finally make it to our appointment and happy as each healthy day passes. We had a miscarriage back in October due to a virus and rash that I caught, pityriasis rosea, which of course was absolutely heartbreaking... so I'm just grateful that this next oppty came so quickly for us and that we have another bundle on the way. Rants: My sister in law and hubby's best friend's wife are both due around the time we were expecting before we lost it. I still get bothered how I'm expected to fly 1.5hrs 3 separate times for their baby showers and I've had to keep this new exciting news such a secret. Also still not sure how much I like the act of breast feeding; still creeps me out a bit.
Questions:
GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? Just to cuddle and snuggle together. Also already looking forward to next year's holidays with our new addition and the family.
@rivercitynik I did not make it to yoga. It is offered at my doctor's office at 7pm... which is late. I wish it were at least at 6:30pm so I could stop on my way home. I don't know how this will work because if I run home first I won't be leaving lol... I may need to just bring a big snack with me and hang out in the car. Your pop-up trip sounds exciting!!

@tyrion_ I'm with your kids - roller coasters are terrifying! We didn't do Disney as kids, so it's not something that's been on my bucket list but I have a feeling I'll take DS, love it and be obsessed forever after.
@riatortillaxo Family zoo dates will be awesome. I really haven't taken DS because it's so so busy weekends, but maybe late in this next mat leave will be an opportunity.
@jwhite3116 Congrats on the interview! Remember, you don't have to tell them you're pregnant, and they're not allowed to ask. How are you feeling? Better. Still tired, but the light nausea seems to be clearing and that's helped a ton. Exercise also seems to help both that off feeling and energy levels, so trying to push through and hopefully start a positive feedback loop.
Raves/Rants: Rant with myself - I have still not started taking weekly bump photos, and (after taking zero photos my first pregnancy) I promised myself I'd be good about this and make a cute sign and everything! Tomorrow's 9 weeks, so time to get on it.

Raves/Rants:
Raves- having the ultrasound last Friday was so nice. My son turns 1 in a little less than 2 weeks and we are telling family then. I'm so excited to for that!
Rant- I am coming down with a cold. Stuffy nose... Wahhhh

Not really a tradition, but I'm excited for all the matching outfits.
Raves/Rants:
Rave: I've been enjoying telling people we're close to. We're telling my mom tonight (hopefully)! We had planned to tell her last night but she wasn't feeling well, so I hope she'll be up for a visit today.
Rant: Due to a long story of complications getting our washer and dryer delivered, we haven't been able to do laundry since before Christmas

How are you feeling? Tired and achey, but the nausea seems to be getting better.
Raves/Rants: Raves: I just had a really great day today. Had the day off so I took a nap, took care of errands, had lunch with friends, and got to see the baby wiggling around.

Raves/Rants: I’m excited to see the baby this week. I’m also hoping that my doctor will tell me the results on the tests during the appointment. The wait is just killing me. Oh and I’ve thought about buying a round pool floaty and blowing it up so I can sleep on my
belly. I haven’t don’t it in so long because the bloat was so uncomfortable at first. I miss it already.

GTKY What is a tradition or special place you are excited to do with baby? My extended family lives all over the country, and every summer we have a family reunion in Florida. How are you feeling? Very gassy, but constipation is starting to leave. Nausea has also started to subside, maybe it's due to my new probiotics...?
Raves/Rants:
Rave: Just excited to finally make it to our appointment and happy as each healthy day passes.
