  • @macheno thankfully, I don't have any nausea at all so far. I can't imagine going through that vicious cycle though!

  • @mcano1016 right there with you on the zero to hangry scale. When I was pregnant with DD, I ended up keeping a snack drawer in the office and a snack bag in the truck. Come to think of it, I really need to dig it back out...
  • @almiller86 I find sparkling flavored water helps a bit

@mcano1016  Yes definitely normal and annoying!

  • In my last pregnancy I found that getting a bottle of ginger ale and drinking a little bit and putting the bottle in the freezer until it became a slushee was great for nausea at work.
  • @almiller86 as a mom of 14 month old twins...I love them more than anything but they are soooooo difficult. I’m nervous that I’m pregnant with twins again :-(.

  • Anyone else an Orange Theory member? I went today for the first time since I got pregnant! Took it easy and it seemed fine, but of course I worried the whole time.

    DS3 2014
    DD born 8/24/2020!
  • @dontcallmeshirley1 Not anymore but I did it the whole time my first pregnancy and for awhile after.  It's pretty easy to modify what you need to so as long as you feel comfortable doing that I say go for it.
  • My heartburn with DS was so bad that I took zantac for it. I also got super vomity in my last tri due to my cholestasis. I puked in the OR when they were prepping me for my c section 🙈
My neausea to coffee started today. I couldn't even get through one cup of coffee this morning 🤢 this is unfortunately a side effect that I get at every pregnancy and it sucks because I work a morning job as not a morning person 😂

  • @maa0629 same frustration about not being able to meet with any Dr till end of first trimester.  I read somewhere else that this is partly because there's not much they can do anyway if there's trouble or not, but would still definitely love an info session!
  • @readytobemama I'm sorry, that really sucks! Are you able to push and get an appointment sooner? I understand that if something was wrong there isn't much they could do, but there are also lots of tests that they do in the 1st trimester that are supposed be done between 10-13 weeks other than just initial scans. It seems odd to me to push all testing until after 1st trimester. Can you switch doctors?
