Reveal baby's sex (anatomy) here! Great place to let up know results, talk about how you found out, any fun reveal plans/stories/photos, etc.
But, please don't post photos of your baby's actual genitals in real life or ultrasound. That's weird.
Quick reminder- gender does not equal sex. Sex is the actual anatomy of baby, and gender is masculine/feminine, or how they choose to express themselves. Also, intersex people do exist, and some research suggests they may be as many as 1 in 250 people with some slight physical variation away from a strict binary sex appearance. Gender expression also is unrelated to sexuality. Thanks for listening to my quick Ted Talk

Re: Let's Talk About Sex Baby!
Well looks like we will be having Boy #2. Now to pick out a name...
.... So, absolutely everyone I know in real life has had boys (7 couples), and boys so far outnumber girls on this forum. What is it in the air that's producing all the boys??
Our social circle on hubby's side favors boys. Between his cousins and family friends that we regularly hang out with, there are 8 boys to 1 girl. I'm hoping number 10 swings girl 🤣
But baby so far is healthy and everything came back negative from the tests. Naming is going to be...interesting. LOL. We of course had it nailed down between two for a girl and nothing for a boy.
We had the boy name settled on but since we won’t be using it this round (hopefully next time) I’ll offer up: Elliot Forrest
@ladybird5617 we hate pink too. It's so hard to find clothes that aren't pink! And then I have relatives who buy pink because they know I hate it. Oh well! Congrats on your sweet girl!
Our oldest (our son) though decided at 3 that pink and sparkly is his favorite. So that's super hilarious. His sister mostly wears his old hand me downs- which are generally as neutral as we could, but others bought strictly blue, black, green, and covered in trucks/dinosaurs. They both have long hair though, so even if they both go out dressed in super stereotypical any stuff, people see her pigtails and his long blond curls and call them both girls. We just don't care anymore. I do understand why our son gets called a girl in his hot pink snow boots and hot pink SPARKLY backpack. But I promised that as much as I hate pink, I will encourage all my kids to wear what they want, so long as it's seasonally appropriate.

So I received the much-watied call this morning. Let me start by saying and most importantly the NIPT results were negative. Then the nurse asks me if I wanted to hear the gender results, I took a deep breath, closed my eyes and said yes, she said are you ready? Yes, I am. Ok, It's.....A...Boy! I took another deep breath opening my teary eyes and said OK thank you!!!! I was hoping for a girl but that's perfect. As I got off the phone I had to get my emotions under control and be grateful our son is healthy. I have two sons age 23 and 9 and I've always dreamed of having a daughter, so right now I'm still processing. I hope that isn't selfish of me, but I just have to process the news. My husband was also praying for a daughter and he was the first person I called. He took the news well and was just as happy to have another son.
No gender reveal planned, I called and texted all the important people in our lives to tell them the news. TEAM BLUE

Bad news is I tested positive as a carrier for fragile x syndrome. they are doing further testing and I'll see the doc in a few days. Reading up on it now. I have 2 girls that are normal and a son with autism (going to have pediatrician do some genetic testing on him now).
A little nervous but would be more nervous if I didn't have normal girls already or if it were going to be a boy.
