There will be a nauseating amount of airplane and windmill references. Any involvement Hannah B has beyond tonight, and probably including tonight, was 100% the working of The Powers That Be and I hate it. Peter's family are human Golden Retrievers and I love them so much. I pink puffy heart Reality Steve but I promise to keep spoilers off of here.
I like checking out his full season recap once I've seen a few episodes and made my own picks. I'm just hoping we don't have another Black Tuesday like last year, where everyone on Bachelor reddit was attached to Tyler as F1 and then it all went to shit when Steve amended it to Jed. It was my birthday.
@thepretzelchick I’m sorry Black Tuesday was your birthday. I still ship Hannah and Tyler. Oh well.
No spoilers ahead-
I won’t say any spoilers unless everyone agrees to it. Reality Steve has said that this season is different in a few ways, and seems like most of the drama comes from the girls and doesn’t actually involve Pete. But that’s always how a Bachelor season goes, with that many women fighting over one guy. I’m looking forward to it
I would appreciate if people do write some sort of spoiler, they put it in a spoiler box with a warning outside of the box. It's in the little paragraph symbol and you can do it on both web and app based. You can either do the spoiler box first and then type in it, or highlight the text you want and then click on the spoiler option. Also putting hard returns between your regular text and what you want in the spoiler box helps.
Like this. *Spoiler ahead* (not really, this is just an example)
Here is my spoiler box. You could also search and I think there are posts about how to do this.
Thoughts on last night ladies? I feel very conflicted. I HATED all the entrances. They were terrible. There are only maybe 3 girls I think are worthwhile, and the whole thing with Hannah is just strange and a spoiler in and of itself since she was on DWTS all fall.
Bumping this thread up to talk about last nights episode. Just putting my thoughts in a spoiler in case people haven't watched yet.
Hanna Ann is bold and Kelsey and Victoria seem more shy. They are clearly intimidated by Hanna and in my opinion being a bit too sensitive about everything! Don't get me wrong, there are times that Hanna Ann is very cold when she is being confronted. I'm interested to see what happens!
I agree @m6agua. I’m interested to see how long Victoria can stick it out. It’s so hard to remember more than 5 or 6 of the girls at any one time at this stage. Also, Pete is SO not over Hannah B. Like... no way. I’m going to be skeptical no matter who he ends up with that as soon as it’s over, Hannah B and Pete will start hanging out again. How did he go on the show, and have her on, without taking things out first?!
I honestly don't see Peter getting engaged at the end of this. I think it'll probably be a Colton and Cassie situation, where one or both isn't ready for engagement and they just date for awhile. It's also clear he isn't over Hannah B, and producers are doing them both dirty by bringing her back on and hashing this all out on camera. Let them have contact between seasons, dammit!
Also, Hannah Ann and Kelsey will both be there for awhile. The drama is too delicious. The producers 100% were behind Hannah Ann opening that bottle of champagne to cause drama.
As some know, I listen to podcasts a lot. In particular I really like Nick Viall's podcast "The Viall Files". This season he is doing an episode on Tuesdays dedicated to Bachelor recap and I am really enjoying their perspective!
The producers are such assholes! I cannot believe they brought Chase in for a concert just to make that awkward convo, and for the girl who has self proclaimed self esteem issues. I’m not impressed.
I feel terrible for Shiann that she clearly is playing the role of Girl Whose Time Gets Interrupted this season. The girls don't just randomly decide to steal time away; the producers control it and let each one know when to go get the bachelor. Shiann is constantly getting interrupted, this time for major drama.
Victoria P's attempted mindfuck of Peter was impressive. "I don't know what else to say" = Oh, shit, I got caught and I can't keep digging. The pictures of the Vegas trip are out there. "I only knew her for 3 hours" my ass. GTFO. Alayah coming back was unnecessary, but at least it gave us some of the real Victoria P.
As pertains to the Victoria F. stuff: because I do follow Reality Steve on social media, I found out things while this season was filming and don't want to give major stuff away. Just...do not trust her whole low confidence schtick. It's as put on as Alayah is in front of the cameras. "I'm scared, I'm nervous, I need comforting, blah blah blah" and then rocking a runway? Gotta make Peter feel like a superhero. She's been skydiving before and mentioned her fear of heights multiple times to producers beforehand, so she's either incredibly naive or just playing her game. As for the Chase thing, if you tell producers repeatedly about your fling with a country star, don't surprised when he gets booked on the show. When he gets booked on the show, don't be surprised when he plays on your 1-on-1. Was it a dick move on ABC's part? Yes, but we knew it was gonna happen when they both got announced. Also, his management are idiots for telling him it wasn't going to happen, and he's an idiot for believing them. You were on Survivor, dude. You know how this goes.
Her anger at Alayah: I've been watching since the beginning. After 1-on-1's, details get spilled. When you don't, you're usually kind of a pariah in the house or liable to get a villain edit. You can leave some things out, understandably, since no one wants to hear about you making out with the guy they're trying to win, but important details like your ex being there? You'd think that might come up. Besides, the info about that date was all over Twitter, and even though none of them had their phones, Alayah had been home for 2-3 days, saw it, and probably assumed that Victoria had told them already, because that's what happens. And then VF didn't, so I'm sure there was some producer nudging because that's what happens.
I hope this season ends with Peter getting a Golden Retriever and choosing absolutely none of these people.
@thepretzelchick I for the most part agree with everything you said. I'm always so blind to some of the "good girl" acts at the beginning because they do seem genuine, but then you look at it and you're like "well... they did sign up to go on a national TV show so how innocent can they REALLY be in all of this".
Oh, absolutely. The average age is, what, 24? Get your camera time, get your followers, start your influencing, then get your freak on in paradise or at Stagecoach! I mean, think how beneficial this is just for Hannah Ann and her modeling, let alone everyone else. At this point, hooking up and possibly ending up with Peter is just the icing on the cake rather than the whole cake itself for a lot of them. It's sad, but it's the reality ABC has enabled and is now straight up creating.

In the words of Becca, Let's do the damn thing!
I normally stay away from Reality Steve so I appreciate the no spoilers.... but sometimes 1/2 way through a terrible season I'll do some googling.

I think he should have sent Alayah and Victoria P picking.

There are so many girls on this cast that I think are just auditioning for Bachelorette/BIP and to become an instagram influencer.
