I know I can look at the Fertility Friend chart gallery to see those charts with later BFPs after BFNs, but I'm curious if anyone on here could share those kind of stories too?
I'm trying to be optimistic: I am about 12 DPO, but I have a good looking chart, no typical pre-AF cramps, am very nauseous (though I know you shouldn't have symptoms until a BFP) but still BFNs.
Anyone care to share their story and/or chart?
Re: Request for optimism: BFP (after BFN) >12 DPO?
I had my BFN at 14dpo, and then my BFP using FRER at 17dpo, and again on the digital at 18dpo (the day AF was due). It just made me realise that waiting until AF is due is probably the best thing, and prevents getting upset by a BFN. My symptoms were typical AF ones for me, bloating and sore boobs, and they've stayed with me to this day.I wish you lots of luck!
I got my BFP at 14 DPO.
I was supposed to get my period on 2/9/11 & waited to test until 2/14/11 (5 days late). I don't know if I would have gotten a BFP before then, but some folks do. The only way to know is to bite the bullet. POAS once a week until your period shows or you get that BFP! Best wishes to you. I hope this is your month.
Lots of women don't get a BFP until 15+ DPO, some as late as 17 or 18 DPO. You're not out till AF shows.
And phantom symptoms really don't mean anything. I had every early pregnancy symptom in the book the first month TTC and was sure I was KU. The second month, when I got my BFP, I had no symptoms at all and was sure I wasn't.
