4 weeks one day. I’m a little concerned the cheapo test line isn’t strong enough. Please talk me off the ledge. Thoughts?
Your picture will be taken down as pee sticks are only supposed to be posted in the sticky at the top of the page.
A line is a line - it is dependent on the dyes that are in the test not the level of HGC. You have two others that confirm pregnant. Call your doctor and tell them you got a positive at home and they will probably do one in office.
Stop peeing on pee sticks. You will drive yourself more batty.
Agree with PPs. The tests are not meant to be quantitative. They just confirm HCG is in your urine. Stop testing (I drove myself crazy over testing because of one test with a slightly lighter line) and call your doctor. Depending on your doctor and history they may have you in for a urine test (but not necessarily a blood test) and then you might not be seen again until 9ish weeks.
Like the rest said, the darkness of the lines is not a good indicator of the health of a pregnancy. Especially when you’re comparing different brands or even just different dye lots. I can PM you a pic of a Walmart cheapie that has me stressed next to a couple much prettier looking FRERs. The Walmarts also didn’t show progression well at all. I’m 18 weeks now. Once you have a digi, that’s the best time to quit testing. Just stick to that.
I understand the strong desire for reassurance from every test available but once they’re not helping your mindset, you gotta stop.
