@sarahroses The dark brown spotting sounds like old blood. Spotting during the first trimester is not uncommon though. I remember you had natural FET, but are you on any hormone support like progesterone? When I was 6 weeks pregnant with DS and I had to travel abroad for work, I was told by my clinic to use PIO if I started spotting on top of progesterone suppositories I was already using.
It could be SCH too. ***TW***I had SCH during first pregnancy that was undetected until 14 weeks when I experienced a gush of blood. I rushed to the ER thinking MC but nope. Spotted a few more times and luckily it resolved. ***End***

Hey all! New to the board. I actually signed up before my last cycle and it kept telling me I had to wait to reply. Well then that cycle came and went with a BFN before I could get back on. Fast forward to our retrieval on 11/26. After two failed frozen cycles we decided to do a fresh transfer and then pgs test any leftover embryos after day 5. our fresh transfer was with two embryos and we had 4 left to biopsy and freeze. I am now on day 6 post transfer and go for beta on Wednesday December 11. So far this time I felt more cramping ok day 3 and 4, and then yesterday and this am slight spotting. I’m trying not to pay any attention to these symptoms one way or another. just hoping this third cycle is a winner! Anyone else having beta tests this week?
@itsbriemiller Welcome! Hoping third time’s the charm for you!

@cashewchicken thank you!! The wait is always the tough part and I try not to POAS and leave it to the beta test. I’ve seen so many in this thread say they were doing transfers right around mine or after. Looking forward to hearing how others are doing and supporting each other!!
I'm going through a threatened miscarriage. A couple of days ago the scan was ok but since then I've got lots of dark blood and dark specks when I go to the toilet and on my panty liners and constant cramping. I've been in bed all this time and nothing red yet but I'm expecting the worst on Monday when I probably go in for another scan. I'm not on progesterone or anything so it's not from that, and no cause was seen at my last scan, so this is not looking good...Also most of my symptoms are gone..
@sarahroses I’m sorry. I hope what you have is SCH and everything will be okay. I was told when I had it that as long as the blood is not bright red and does not soak up the pad, it’s okay.

Just left the Dr.s for my beta draw. Im so nervous. I havent taken any hpts so this is going to be the longest day ever. This is our only embryo so if it doesn't work we will have to take a break before going for another retrieval since its all out of pocket. I havent been so hopeful the last couple of days as I've been having mild cramping. One of the nurses said it could be a good sign but idk. Just trying to be realistic and prepare myself in case it didn't work. @sarahroses thinking of you today. @cashewchicken how you feeling? @faithfullywaiting3 when are you testing?
@bobella22 Fingers crossed you get a great beta result! I’m feeling good. Finally getting over the cold (just occasional coughing now). As for pregnancy symptoms I have none but I didn’t have one during last pregnancy either so I’m hoping this is a good sign. @sarahroses Hope your u/s result was reassuring.

Hello ladies, thank you for your support and encouragement. The black discharge is a bit less and my hyperemesis is back, so the doc said I could wait until next week's scan. To be honest I was afraid to go check I've been in bed for a week now. @bobella22 Fingers crossed, hope you had a good beta
@sarahroses Yay! I’m glad that discharge is less and you’ve got your symptoms back (though hyperemesis must be no fun). Black discharge sounds like SCH. That’s what I saw at 14 weeks, a gush of it. But if it’s SCH it’ll likely be fine. Congrats!
I have one more week to go until the u/s. Ugh.

faithfullywaiting3 how many times are you going to acupuncture? I did it right before and after last time and unfortunately BFN. Hoping for it to stick next week! Want to see what you're thinking of doing and I might do the same!
@lunagirlnyc Thank you! I also did the acupuncture and I did weekly sessions leading up to the transfer (but only started 3 weeks before transfer, oops) and the week of transfer, I did the day before and the day of, right after the transfer. After that, went back to weekly sessions.

@bobella22 and @cashewchicken I have my Beta scheduled for today!! not sure how I did it, but I managed to not POAS. I think what DH and I have decided to do is i’ll let it go to voicemail and we’ll listen together once we’re both home.
@lunagirlnyc I’ve been doing acupuncture weekly for at least 6 months now, mainly focusing on blood flow to uterus and stress. Once transfer was scheduled my acupuncture clinic’s protocol is to do a session the day before, another the day of after the FET, and then one session on day 3 and 5 so that’s what I did Good luck to you!
@faithfullywaiting3 Oh yay! So exciting. Sounds like a plan! I did the same, and listening with your significant other makes it super special, in my opinion. Also I knew I wouldn’t be able to focus at work If I knew the results. Haha. Hoping for a strong beta!

Hey ladies...unfortunately I got a BFN. Pretty devastated. Going to take a break for a couple of months and trying again. Good luck to the rest of you! @faithfullywaiting3 will be lurking for an update...I hope this is it for you! @cashewchicken wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months . @sarahroses hope all is well with you

@bobella22 i’m sorry, this journey is definitely not for the faint at heart. Unfortunately it’s a BFN for me as well. It’s so hard, we put so much work, thought and energy into this, so a negative is not easy to process. But we’ll also be trying again, not sure when but we won’t give up. Hopefully we’ll be meeting with our RE next week to see what’s going on and to decide what the next steps will be. @cashewchicken I also wish you the most healthy and happy 9 months!!!
Im so sorry @faithfullywaiting3.I was hoping for good news. We're not giving up yet either. It's so heartbreaking to go through this disappointment over and over again. We met with this natural health guru guy who has had much success with others for fertility and other ailments. Figured cant hurt to try while on break. Good luck to everyone else! Ill be lurking from time to time and hoping to see more positives.
@bobella22@faithfullywaiting3 I'm extremely sorry, ladies I'm glad that you are trying again though, hoping next time's the one. As for me, still having almost red discharge every day, but today's scan showed the fetus has grown ok but no cause for the bleeding identified, again...:/ I'll go back for another scan in 2 weeks because RE said I'm not out of the woods, and didn't even make a fuss showing us the baby or telling the heart beat. I had to ask and RE was wishy washy, probably doesn't want me to get attached in case something happens, so I left it at that. To make matters worse, I have hyperemesis, which is hell on earth...But if I can make it a few more weeks...
@faithfullywaiting3 I’m so sorry. Hoping the next transfer is successful. Thank you for the wishes. @sarahroses I’m sorry. It must be frustrating. Have you made an appointment with an OB yet? It might be good to get another set of eyes to see where the bleeding comes from, and assess what is going on. Just a thought. And I’m so sorry about hyperemesis. Take care.

@sarahroses i agree with @cashewchicken, maybe get a new set of eyes on the situation. Everything you have said so far sounds like when i had my SCHs. It took awhile to find them and if i remember correctly it was diagnosed until after i had a pretty big bleed
