Hello Bump Community! My husband and I went through IUI on 10/16. Today marked 14 DPO and I had my blood HCG test earlier this morning. I got a call that our HCG was positive with an HCG of 60. The Nurse Practitioner who called me said that usually levels are 100 at 4 weeks so we are retesting in 2 days. Has anyone else had something like this happen to them? What was the outcome? I'm prepared for the worst, but hoping for the best and haven't had much luck finding anyone who's experienced this personally. My research has shown that there is a wide range of HCG levels at 4 weeks, but it didn't say whether the lower levels remained viable, etc. So I don't know what to expect. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

You’ll probably have better luck on a different area of the Bump since this is TRYING to get pregnant...none of us are currently pregnant and some of us never have been.
As PP said, you really will have better luck posting this in another board, like “1st Trimester”. The biggest thing with HCG in early pregnancy is that it doubles every 2-3 days. A single HCG number doesn’t mean a whole lot. *TW loss mentioned - I had an HCG of 94 (almost 100) at 16 DPO and then it dropped to 48 at 18 DPO as I experienced a loss. End TW* Try to stay calm and wait for your second blood test...unfortunately there is nothing that you can do at this point one way or another. Please don’t update us on this board...as PP said, we are all trying here and many of us have never been pregnant so it can be hurtful for someone to come in with their BFP when we don’t even know them or their story. I hope things work out for you, but if not feel free to join in this community by introducing yourself in the Newbie thread and posting in the already established daily threads. We don’t encourage one-off posts on this board.
