If you are a contributing member who has been active here for a full 3 months with a BFP this week, CONGRATULATIONS! Please share your success with us here.
How do you know if you're a contributing member?
1. Ask your heart if you have contributed positively here. 2. Do these people know you? Will they be happy about your pregnancy? 3. Have you offered support to others or have you just blasted your own info out there? 4. We ask that you only post here if you have been participating meaningfully here for at least three months.Sometimes the silence is kindest. Those of us who lurk BMBs will see your intro and PM/comment/love tit. 5. Again, take a moment and step away from your excitement and ask your heart if posting would be potentially hurtful. ----------------------------------------------------------- This thread has mild restrictions - thread is primarily BFP announcements but doesn't allow for direct questions or lengthy/personalized congrats in the comments. Use the "Love It" button or "congrats!", "H&H 9 months!", "I was hoping this was your month!" and other short & sweet notes.
Regular board rules apply-- this is not the place to ask if you are pregnant based off your symptoms or for second opinions on your tests. We do invite you to contribute in the daily TWW and WTO threads and discussions. This community gives back tenfold what you put into it! When you see somebody who has possibly violated a guideline of this thread, please quote the section of these guidelines and include a callout to the poster, but keep snark to a minimum. If you have a post called out, please edit your offending post to add a note that you've been made aware of the rule and will keep it in mind in the future (if you are being asked to change wording due to unintentionally offensive phrasing, please remove that part of your post with a note of "EDIT: Removed offensive phrasing"). Remember: this thread is not a tribunal. Continued arguments and defenses about a post have no place here and are considered off-topic. If you would like to make an argument for or against a rule, please create or update a META thread to discuss.
CD/DPO of first BFP?
How many months/cycles had you been TTC?
How long have you been an active participant on the TTGP board? (minimum: 3 full months)
What did your chart look like?
What were you doing TGKU?
How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any? (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)
CD/DPO of first BFP? The hCG trigger shot tested out of my system on 9DPO. I slept & moped around all day with a bfn. A friend on here encouraged me with better luck later that day or the next, so I tested after doing my evening shots at 11 pm & saw the first hint of a shadow of a line. Watched the squinters turn into actual believable results over the next couple of days. Turned a FRER on 11DPO: BW that same day was inconclusive. 13DPO BW came through the portal this morning after midnight, showing that hCG is still quite low but has more than doubled. Cautiously optimistic!
How many months/cycles had you been TTC? 17 months of waiting for our THB. We started in June 2018. Had a devastating unexplained loss October of last year halfway through the pregnancy. That’s when I rejoined this board.
How long have you been an active participant on the TTGP board? (minimum: 3 full months) Nov 2018-Oct 2019
What did your chart look like? Ugly, but encouraging.
What were you doing TGKU? Geesus, everything! FF, BBT, OPKs, checking CM & CP, PNV w/Folate, extra extra Vit D3, Fish Oil/DHA, N-A-C, Calcium, Vitex, Ubiquinol, DHEA, Baby Aspirin, Ovasitol, Medrol, Iron injections, Intralipids infusions, daily moderate exercise for uterine blood flow, lots of sunshine, meditation, acupuncture, 7-9 hours sleep. Lovenox injections starting just before ovulation, Progesterone (oral, internal, & injections) after ovulation.
How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any? (CS & CD breakdowns welcome) -4, -3, -2, O (IUI + 1 extra for good luck). On 6DPO I had cramps that I thought *might* be implantation, and then a temp drop the next day. On 9DPO I was exhausted and slept half the day. That was it for symptoms. My meds make me nauseous so that eliminated that for SS.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? We’ve been at this “guarded joy” point enough times that there’s no longer any cute stuff. I came out of the bathroom, showed him the squinter that he pretended to see, we high-fived. He said, “We’ll see what happens!” Repeat over the next 4 days...
Anything else to add? Those of you who know my detailed history know that I am very cautious about even posting in this thread. But today I am pregnant and that deserves to be celebrated.🤞🏽 I’m truly hoping that every single one of you gets out of here very soon—especially the WARRIORS in the IF group.🙏🏽Thank you for all that you’ve shared & helped me learn. Your support during the trying times has been invaluable. I will continue to send you all positive energy & support until I don’t recognize anybody’s names.♥️♥️♥️
