  • @chaos-and-coffee I love the outlook but I hope you don’t get to have that glass of wine on Saturday! 🤞

@whitealbum29 oh that does sound stressful! Our families are all local so we never have overnight houseguests. I’m sure you will work it all out though! Are you going to have nice weather in your area this weekend at least?

@tyrion_ ugh I’m so sorry. I was so hoping your spotting would be done and that we would go to June together! I have a feeling I’ll still be here though so we can shoot for July instead haha
  • @bows22 I'm so sorry for the bfn :(

@chaos-and-coffee I will still cross all the things for you <3

@whitealbum29 I hope you have a great weekend with your family!

@tyrion_ I'm so sorry this cycle has put you through the wringer :(

@tyrion_ sorry this cycle has been such a mindf*ck. I hope your OB has answers.

@saladflambe you crack me up. I also suffer from chronic SS. The worst!

  • @beckylookatherbump shh don't encourage me  :D I'm just a nutcase over here lol.  -- fwiw, I've started letting myself get up to pee even if it's only like an hour before my normal temp time, and it hasn't messed w/ my temping. Some people just don't have very big temp changes after O.

  • @b_1029 oh no, I hope you aren’t getting sick! We are 10/14! We’re headed to the east coast for a vacation - Boston and Rhode Island. I’m so excited, the east coast is my favorite!
  • @saladflambe: well 5dpo is still super early. Plus what are your tww friends for if not to encourage are inner crazy? If we wanted rational we would go to our husbands. Also I think I’m just biased because last time I ovulated ( the only time I’ve tracked) I went up like a lot but then it turned out I was getting sick and ended up with like 103 fever so I guess jumping from 97-99 isn’t normal O behavior for me.

@tyrion_ I'm sorry that this cycle has been so awful. Hopefully next cycle is a better one. Also, damn you baby lizards! You failed us! 😭

    @bows22 Sorry about the BFN.

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    Timing:  -1, O

    Typical LP length: 13-14 days

Testing: BFN this morning. I may test again but I'm feeling very out. I may just wait for my period.

R/R: I was going to wait and test to avoid the awkward thing where IF I were pregnant my husband would want to go ahead and tell his parents during their visit and there is no way in hell I would be ready to tell anyone so soon. But then yesterday I was having a lot of heartburn and nausea so obviously my brain went full on crazy like "oh sure those are typical progesterone/PMS symptoms but I bet this time they're pregnancy symptoms!" Spoiler: I'm not pregnant. Anyhow I get done testing and go to make coffee then while I'm making coffee my husband comes up and asks me if I'm pregnant. I'm fairly certain he didn't know I was testing and I think it was just a coincidence. Today is cleaning day and he said he found a mail flyer from a baby store and thought I left it out for him as a way to announce. Nope it just got lost in that pile of junk mail and escaped the trash till now. Can I be over today already? Because I'm just not feeling today.

    CS/Q: nope

@NamelessAria I'm sorry for your BFN...and my heart broke a bit hearing about your DH asking and thinking you were telling him w/ the flyer. Hugs

  • @bows22 FX for you! Also, hoping your computer gets fixed!!!

@chaos-and-coffee That's a great way to think of it! Happy early anniversary!

@whitealbum29 Are we secretly twins? I love going to local political stuff too! Our forum is this weekend, we're on the fence about going because we already have our mayoral opinions BUT we wanted to go to hear from the candidates for our city council seat. Unfortunately the challenger is backing out of the forum, which pretty much makes my decision for me! Might just go for the entertainment value though! We have a hotly contested mayoral race with a huge high school issue that's been ongoing for like a decade haha!

@tyrion_ So sorry friend. Creepy internet stranger hugs. I'm right there with you if it helps.

@saladflambe Ha totally same! I've convinced myself I must be KU because of similar stuff before! Also, so sorry about the stink bugs I hate those little bastards! I have to catch them and flush them so we don't get the smell!

@b_1029 I'm so sorry, that sounds so stressful!!!! $20k is not something I would be thrilled about paying back!! Could he negotiate something with the new company to help with that? Maybe a signing bonus?

  • @kpearse99 More like this!

Whereas I'm like this normally at 96.7!

The spotting has just started in my last 2 cycles, and I was actively looking for it this cycle (from 6DPO-9DPO it was only visible when I checked CM). As soon as AF shows officially (and I can consider it CD1) I'm supposed to call for my CD3 bloodwork, then around CD7-11 I'm going to do a HSG. I'm going to make a list and discuss all of this stuff with my Dr. I had a progesterone level done last year as part of my preconception appointment and it was very much in the middle of the normal range, so I'm wondering if something has changed.

  • @kpearse99 That's so funny! My body is very weird too. I've always been one of those never-cold people (wearing lighter jackets in winter than everyone else, always hot) but my body temp is low. I stay at a baseline of 97ish no matter what. MH had the hardest time realizing why I would get nervous if I had a fever of 99 - it's because that's the equivalent of 100 for him!

  • @bows22 I so hope that your feeling crappy is a good sign. :) I’m right there w you w the symptom spotting. Anyway, enjoy dinner tonight with the fam!

@chaos-and-coffee It sounds like you have some wonderful things coming up to keep you pleasantly occupied. Happy anniversary! You mentioned such a nice reminder to focus on all that we do have.❤️

@whitealbum29 It’s great to hear that you also have things to fully occupy you. I feel like so many people can relate to the stressful feeling of hosting others that they will probably want to put you at ease as much as possible. Don’t sweat the small stuff.😉 Maybe tell your parents all the interesting/fun options there are to do and then let them decide the itinerary. People love to have choice & then feel less disappointed if it doesn’t go right/more satisfied when it’s super great if something is of their choosing. Good luck!

@tyrion_ I’m sorry this cycle has been so bad for you. Honestly, I’m the absolute worst about seeing the bright side in things even when I shouldn’t—and hope I don’t give you false hope—but could that be an implantation dip followed by spotting? If this cycle is a bust as you suspect, you might ask your doc to test your progesterone levels at 7DPO next cycle. Imbalanced hormones could also be a reason for the spotting. Hugs to you!

Month/Cycle: 17 months. Holy s*** I didn’t realize it’s already been that long. **TW: Many losses in that time so I guess it keeps feeling like starting again. End TW**

    CD/DPO: 17/7 (Second month in a row of O on CD10🙄)

Timing: -4, -3, -2, O *Even though I did IUI, I’m pretty sure O was 1-2 days later than what I listed above.

    Typical LP length: 10-14

Testing: I’m a serial tester😆😩 so ASAP. Official Bloodwork in another week

R/R: Rave: My recent workflow has been really busy but going very well. Rant: I just feel in my bones that this frequent work travel/air travel is not good for my body/TTC. Plus the long workdays & worknights keep me from interacting consistently on TB. How dare work get in the way?! 😄

CS/Q: Not pretty but I’m letting hope defy all odds lol

  • @keikilove I hear ya on knowing that travel/air travel isn't the best thing when you're TTC. I traveled so damn much over the summer, especially July-September. I have a very strong feeling that's why my last 3 cycles were so messed up, plus stressing about all of the travel makes things even worse.  I am so glad travel has settled down for me.  Does your travel let up anytime soon?

  • @kpearse99 @mvt2003 temps are nuts! I use the Ava bracelet so that’s gonna be lower than oral temping but I tend to run around 97 orally. Anytime I touch 99 I feel like shit and it’s usually a sign I’m getting ill.  MH looks at me funny if I call 99 a fever but for me it generally is. My mom is the same. I’ve thought of tracking orally but the Ava just lets me be lazy. 😂

Bodies are ridiculous. That’s where I’m at right now.
  • @rachelredhead I somehow missed your post earlier, sorry!!  Yes for new makeup!! Get. It. Girl!

I'm the same way about running fevers... it always sucked growing up because my mom would never let me stay home from school unless I had a fever, no matter how HORRIBLE I felt, if I didn't have a fever (by the thermometer standards) then I couldn't stay home.  I rarely have fevers, because my temps are typically lower during the day.  99, if it happens during the day, is typically a fever for me... but not in the morning when I wake up apparently!  Bodies ARE ridiculous!!

    Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 24/9

    Timing: SMEP

    Typical LP length: 12 days

Testing: WFAF. I might test this weekend, but maybe not since our anniversary is Saturday and I don’t want to be bummed if it’s negative.

R/R: I found a really nice cologne for my husband for our anniversary, and some new shoes. Lame, but he hardly ever buys things for himself like that, so I decided to do it for him. It’s our 6th and I think that’s like wood and steel or something? And he’s a welder soo.. I don’t think he wants metal. Haha I don’t have much to do the next couple of days besides grocery shop and regular daily tasks, so I can feel the BSC creeping in. 😅

CS/Q:  I’m glad DH talked me into doing that +1, I was going to “forget” about it. But since ff isn’t positive, neither am I. I woke up at like 3:30 and couldn’t go back to sleep for a long while so I didn’t temp this morning, and I straight up slept through my alarm yesterday.

    Edited to fix cycle dates

  • @beckylookatherbump if we want rational we go to our husbands 😂😂 how true.

@NamelessAria so sorry about the BFN, but that was so sweet of your husband. I hope you get to get to make that sweet announcement to him so soon!

@rachelredhead yay for new makeup! FX that egg grossness actually was a symptom!

@mvt2003 ugh, so sorry for the constant spotting. It sucks. I hope you can get some answers soon.

@kpearse99 we had a morning like that here too, and sadly I’m at my desk at work instead of curled in my bed. Your betas are on my anniversary - I’m hoping for good news that day!

@keikilove I hope all of the travel settles soon! Everything crossed as you start testing!

and just an overall yes, bodies are ridiculous.
  • @photographerwife I think those gifts sound perfect! MH would love it if I bought him new shoes, he always feels bad about spending money
  • @bows22 I felt so dumb - Rosie has been acting SUPER weird about the backyard recently, constantly smelling around and looking up at the treeline (remember all those 3am wakeup calls because she was refusing to go at 10 when it was bedtime?) and then Tuesday, MH sends me a pic from our backyard camera that there is a hawk eating a small animal on our freaking deck! One of my neighbors put a picture of it sitting on the fenceline on FB, and another neighbor commented that it's a mating pair living in our trees. I am literally freaking the eff out about it!
