Re: TWW Thursday 10/3
CD/DPO: 26/10 or 11
Timing: Not sure of exact days due to iffy O date but good
Typical LP length: 12
Testing: BFN on a wondfo today. I have heard mixed reviews on wondfos this early, especially if I’m only 10 DPO, so I’m not totally discouraged but it did the trick to get my expectations in check
R/R: I’m feeling generally crappy this morning which I hope is a good sign haha. I have a busy day at work as usual and then dinner with my family tonight so I should have some good distraction until I get to test tomorrow. I’m proud of myself for holding out on using my only FRER for so long, but I’m tired of spending $ on HPTs
CS/Q:
@bows22 sorry for the BFN. FX it was just too early and you get a different answer from the FRER tomorrow!
Month/Cycle: 5/3
CD/DPO: 31/9
Timing: -3, -1, +1
Typical LP length: not sure
Testing: maybe Saturday, if only because we might go out to a fancy spot to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I will want to have a glass of wine.
R/R: I have made as much peace as possible with a BFN this cycle. Knowing that we have our anniversary coming up and a family vacation planned in two weeks, I’ll be able to fully enjoy it and it’ll help take my mind off TTC. My goal is to just be present and enjoy what I have, rather than being sad about what I don’t.
CS/Q: no
@bows22 sorry about the BFN but hopefully your crappy feeling is a good sign and it was just too early!
@chaos-and-coffee I'm glad you have some upcoming things to look forward to even though they're not the #1 thing you want right now! Creepy internet hugs to you!
Month/Cycle: 14/14
CD/DPO: 23/4
Timing: good
Typical LP length: 14
Testing: nope
R/R: We went to a forum for mayoral candidates in our city last night so that was interesting. I feel like I'm finding various activities to distract myself so that's good. My parents are arriving tomorrow and will be here for the weekend and I'm excited but a little overwhelmed with prepping for them to come! Hosting stresses me out and we haven't settled on an itinerary of things to do which freaks me out.
CS/Q: nope
@bows22 Sorry for the BFN this morning. 10 DPO is still early and I really really hope you get to June! Fingers crossed for you tomorrow!
@chaos-and-coffee Happy early Anniversary!
@whitealbum29 Hope you have a good weekend! Hopefully you can figure out your weekend plans and it isn’t too stressful hosting.
Month/Cycle: 5/5 AL
CD/DPO: 23/11
Timing: -1x2, O, +1
Typical LP length: No clue what it will be this cycle
Testing: AF is on her way
R/R: This cycle sucked so hard. So much spotting. My temp is on its way down and my spotting is increasing. I’m sure AF will be here soon. Hoping the OB has some insight.
CS/Q:
@whitealbum29 oh that does sound stressful! Our families are all local so we never have overnight houseguests. I’m sure you will work it all out though! Are you going to have nice weather in your area this weekend at least?
@tyrion_ ugh I’m so sorry. I was so hoping your spotting would be done and that we would go to June together! I have a feeling I’ll still be here though so we can shoot for July instead haha
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: CD 21 / 5 DPO
Timing: -5, -3, -1, O
Typical LP length: idk
Testing: I am the speshulest of snowflakes and peed on a dollar store test today because "symptoms." (Yeah. Symptoms of the progesterone your body puts out after you ovulate whether you're pregnant or not. Nutcase.) Obviously, the fattest of bfns.
R/R: I hate that I am a symptom spotter. I have a wicked smell aversion going on - I had to go buy new deodorant bc my normal one made me want to puke. But, it's not pg-related.... it's because, last night, I whacked a stink bug on my shoulder & made my whole arm stink & tried to cover it up with my deodorant, so now my deodorant reminds me of stink bug stink. Thus, barf.

R/R: today’s my big test day. Super stressed. Can’t wait to be done with school and get my life back.
CS/Q:didn’t have a large temp change following O so making it hard to obsess over. I think I just wake up to pee and toss and turn too much to temp.
@bows22: fingers crossed for tomorrow.
@chaos-and-coffee: enjoy your anniversary and trip and a much needed mental break from ttc.
@whitealbum29: I’m the same way. My husband loves to host, mostly because he does none of the actual work, and it turns me into a stress monster.
@tyrion_: I hope your doctor gives you some answers!
@saladflambe that’s still super early, you definitely could still get a bfp!

@chaos-and-coffee love October weddings- what’s your anniversary? Ours is 10/29 (wonder how I made my UN haha). Where are you guys going for vacation? It’s so hard to keep your mind off it when it’s the only thing you want!
@whitealbum29 I’m glad you have distractions! Hope you have fun with your parents, whatever you end up doing. I always get so stressed when they visit because my mom comes in and starts cleaning things that I’ve already cleaned 🙄
@tyrion_ ugh I’m sorry for the rough cycle. I hope your OB will have some answers as to what’s going on.
@saladflambe ahhh stink bugs are taking over my house so I can totally relate to your story! Sorry for the BFN but we both know it’s way too early
Month/Cycle: many
CD/DPO: 21/8
Timing: 👍🏼
Typical LP length: 14-15
Testing: in a week if no AF
R/R: I’m apparently getting sick. I suddenly got really stuffy last night and then was coughing away. DH is having all sorts of work issues and I’m really wondering if he’s going to end up taking this job he’s being wooed for. I’m also a bit stressed about that because his current company is paying for a good chunk of his MBA and it’s not like we have 20k or whatever laying around to pay them back since he’d be leaving before it was forgiven. But his manager just sounds awful to work with and he doesn’t get super angry often so I was sad to see that last night.
CS/Q: nada
@bows22 Sorry about the BFN.
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 25/11
Timing: -1, O
Typical LP length: 13-14 days
Testing: BFN this morning. I may test again but I'm feeling very out. I may just wait for my period.
R/R: I was going to wait and test to avoid the awkward thing where IF I were pregnant my husband would want to go ahead and tell his parents during their visit and there is no way in hell I would be ready to tell anyone so soon. But then yesterday I was having a lot of heartburn and nausea so obviously my brain went full on crazy like "oh sure those are typical progesterone/PMS symptoms but I bet this time they're pregnancy symptoms!" Spoiler: I'm not pregnant. Anyhow I get done testing and go to make coffee then while I'm making coffee my husband comes up and asks me if I'm pregnant. I'm fairly certain he didn't know I was testing and I think it was just a coincidence. Today is cleaning day and he said he found a mail flyer from a baby store and thought I left it out for him as a way to announce. Nope it just got lost in that pile of junk mail and escaped the trash till now. Can I be over today already? Because I'm just not feeling today.

CD/DPO: 29/11

R/R: Was grossed out by my eggs this morning so, of course, immediately started thinking of nursery colors. 🙄 I have been grossed out by my eggs before and I’m not putting a lot of stock in that “symptom.” On the plus side, I bought new makeup and I look pretty today!
CS/Q: not really
Month/Cycle: 13/13
CD/DPO: 25/11
Timing: Good
Typical LP length: 12-14 but still spotting away. Assuming AF will make her official appearance tonight/tomorrow.
Testing: Nope
R/R: This spotting crap is for the birds! (Also, speaking of birds we apparently have a pair of mated hawks living in our trees behind our house. This makes me very nervous, and I'm paranoid about the dog now!) I'm ready for AF to be here, I've been seeing slight spotting since 6DPO and I'm just done with it. Ready for my IF testing to start now, because then I might at least have a chance!
MH has a man cold so he stayed home today, I'm exhausted from all my work stress but decided it would be more stressful for me to stay home (in case I get a fire drill email). I might sneak out a bit early though.

R/R: It's a rainy day here and I would love to be home right now, snuggled up on the couch or in bed still. It was one of those mornings where it was still dark when you wake up, because of the clouds and rain, so it makes for the perfect "go back to sleep" conditions. So hard getting out of bed on mornings like that! But alas - I'm here.
CS/Q: I told you my temps are drunk!! This is exactly why I haven't temped in the past - 1) because I run hot when I sleep and 2) because they are going to be all over the place! Oh well!

@chaos-and-coffee That's a great way to think of it! Happy early anniversary!
@whitealbum29 Are we secretly twins? I love going to local political stuff too! Our forum is this weekend, we're on the fence about going because we already have our mayoral opinions BUT we wanted to go to hear from the candidates for our city council seat. Unfortunately the challenger is backing out of the forum, which pretty much makes my decision for me! Might just go for the entertainment value though! We have a hotly contested mayoral race with a huge high school issue that's been ongoing for like a decade haha!
@tyrion_ So sorry friend. Creepy internet stranger hugs. I'm right there with you if it helps.
@saladflambe Ha totally same! I've convinced myself I must be KU because of similar stuff before! Also, so sorry about the stink bugs I hate those little bastards! I have to catch them and flush them so we don't get the smell!
@b_1029 I'm so sorry, that sounds so stressful!!!! $20k is not something I would be thrilled about paying back!! Could he negotiate something with the new company to help with that? Maybe a signing bonus?

@saladflambe girl, it was WAY to early to be testing
@beckylookatherbump good luck on your test today! I am sure you will do great! Also, I am the same way about tossing so much while I sleep. This is my first cycle, ever, temping and I think I'm going to stop
@b_1029 would this new job be a good opportunity for him, and for you as a family? Is he excited at the possibility of it? I'm sorry you're not feeling good. I got stuffy out of nowhere last night too, but I was fine when I woke up this morning. Did the weather just shift where you are at?
@NamelessAria ugh I'm sorry for the BFN and the type of start to the day you've had already. In a way though, it's so cute how excited YH is about becoming a daddy!!

Whereas I'm like this normally at 96.7!
The spotting has just started in my last 2 cycles, and I was actively looking for it this cycle (from 6DPO-9DPO it was only visible when I checked CM). As soon as AF shows officially (and I can consider it CD1) I'm supposed to call for my CD3 bloodwork, then around CD7-11 I'm going to do a HSG. I'm going to make a list and discuss all of this stuff with my Dr. I had a progesterone level done last year as part of my preconception appointment and it was very much in the middle of the normal range, so I'm wondering if something has changed.

@chaos-and-coffee It sounds like you have some wonderful things coming up to keep you pleasantly occupied. Happy anniversary! You mentioned such a nice reminder to focus on all that we do have.❤️
@whitealbum29 It’s great to hear that you also have things to fully occupy you. I feel like so many people can relate to the stressful feeling of hosting others that they will probably want to put you at ease as much as possible. Don’t sweat the small stuff.😉 Maybe tell your parents all the interesting/fun options there are to do and then let them decide the itinerary. People love to have choice & then feel less disappointed if it doesn’t go right/more satisfied when it’s super great if something is of their choosing. Good luck!
@tyrion_ I’m sorry this cycle has been so bad for you. Honestly, I’m the absolute worst about seeing the bright side in things even when I shouldn’t—and hope I don’t give you false hope—but could that be an implantation dip followed by spotting? If this cycle is a bust as you suspect, you might ask your doc to test your progesterone levels at 7DPO next cycle. Imbalanced hormones could also be a reason for the spotting. Hugs to you!
Month/Cycle: 17 months. Holy s*** I didn’t realize it’s already been that long. **TW: Many losses in that time so I guess it keeps feeling like starting again. End TW**
CD/DPO: 17/7 (Second month in a row of O on CD10🙄)

R/R: Rave: My recent workflow has been really busy but going very well. Rant: I just feel in my bones that this frequent work travel/air travel is not good for my body/TTC. Plus the long workdays & worknights keep me from interacting consistently on TB. How dare work get in the way?! 😄

Bodies are ridiculous. That’s where I’m at right now.
I'm the same way about running fevers... it always sucked growing up because my mom would never let me stay home from school unless I had a fever, no matter how HORRIBLE I felt, if I didn't have a fever (by the thermometer standards) then I couldn't stay home. I rarely have fevers, because my temps are typically lower during the day. 99, if it happens during the day, is typically a fever for me... but not in the morning when I wake up apparently! Bodies ARE ridiculous!!

Month/Cycle: 4/3
CD/DPO: 24/9
Timing: SMEP
Typical LP length: 12 days
Testing: WFAF. I might test this weekend, but maybe not since our anniversary is Saturday and I don’t want to be bummed if it’s negative.
R/R: I found a really nice cologne for my husband for our anniversary, and some new shoes. Lame, but he hardly ever buys things for himself like that, so I decided to do it for him. It’s our 6th and I think that’s like wood and steel or something? And he’s a welder soo.. I don’t think he wants metal. Haha I don’t have much to do the next couple of days besides grocery shop and regular daily tasks, so I can feel the BSC creeping in. 😅
CS/Q: I’m glad DH talked me into doing that +1, I was going to “forget” about it. But since ff isn’t positive, neither am I. I woke up at like 3:30 and couldn’t go back to sleep for a long while so I didn’t temp this morning, and I straight up slept through my alarm yesterday.
Edited to fix cycle dates
@NamelessAria so sorry about the BFN, but that was so sweet of your husband. I hope you get to get to make that sweet announcement to him so soon!
@rachelredhead yay for new makeup! FX that egg grossness actually was a symptom!
@mvt2003 ugh, so sorry for the constant spotting. It sucks. I hope you can get some answers soon.
@kpearse99 we had a morning like that here too, and sadly I’m at my desk at work instead of curled in my bed. Your betas are on my anniversary - I’m hoping for good news that day!
@keikilove I hope all of the travel settles soon! Everything crossed as you start testing!
and just an overall yes, bodies are ridiculous.
@beckylookatherbump I hope the day goes quickly for you!
@b_1029 we literally had the same situation when MH was getting his MBA. It was towards the end and the way the reimbursement worked we wouldn’t have lost that much so I was okay with it but I was definitely happy (for multiple reasons!) when things got better. I hope it get better for YH too.
@NamelessAria ugh to your whole post. I’m sorry.
@rachelredhead omg I did the saaaame thing with eggs on Tuesday. And like every couple of months. When will I realize that sometimes I’m just not in the mood for eggs?
@mvt2003 Um the hawks sound like they are straight from my nightmares. I hope AF either comes soon or never haha
@kpearse99 I think I always planned on testing with a wondfo today, I just don’t even consider that real testing since they are so cheap even though I know that’s not logica hahal. I didn’t sleep the night before I tested last cycle so I think getting a BFN out of the way is going to help with that. I always want to stay home with weather like that too! We had a day like that this week too.
@keikilove I always have that same thought with air travel. I hate it. When do you think you’ll test?

@bows22 sorry for the bfn:( I don’t think they pick up as low levels as frer, but I don’t blame you. They’re so expensive. And it’s still pretty early. FX!
@chaos-and-coffee Happy anniversary! Still holding out hope for you. It will be so nice to have a vaca and have some time to not focus on ttc!
