  • @chaos-and-coffee oof sorry about the large bill at the end. Enjoy date night tonight!!

@dancingtreepose oh that sounds like such a fun night! Enjoy!!

@saladflambe all you were missing with those pretzels was chocolate. 😂
  • @bows22 a cider house sounds so fun! I love hard cider. I can take or leave beer, but I really like cider :) Have all the fun!

@tyrion_ I looked at SMEP after you posted about it & was like "yeah no way could my husband do that" lol. Like, physically, he couldn't... props to anyone who can even come close lol.

@chaos-and-coffee I'm glad the dentist wasn't too bad but holy feck that bill..omg. And people wonder why a lot of folks just outright avoid doctors - let alone dentists.

@dancingtreepose I also get sore from every-other-day sex. By BD3 I'm like "please just finish already..." Have fun camping & hiking - that sounds amazing :) I love camp fires the most!

@gingermama29 Glad she was able to move things around :) I can't wait for Halloween! I have a pair of leggings I wear every year only on Halloween :)

@tyrion_ Ohhhh girl I feel you. SMEP is freaking exhausting. :D

@chaos-and-coffee glad your crown wasn't too terrible (except that bill!!!!)

@dancingtreepose that sounds like a lovely weekend!! Enjoy!

@gingermama29 Oooooh heck no to a Halloween observation! Do they not know that kids are insane that day?!?! Glad you got that changed!

@saladflambe I literally snorted at the "Swiss Alps" comment. Dying. Also, you're basically eating carbs for me too, so better make it a full pound of pretzels today! :D

  • @saladflambe It's kind of a funny story. I work for an oil company, and we have a presence on both coasts. My boss spent a TON of time on the west coast this spring and got hooked on hemp milk lattes. We have a department fridge with snacks etc that I stock, and he asked me to get some hemp milk for the fridge, and then he forgot about it and didn't drink it. It expires in October and now my co-worker and I are trying our best to finish all of the cartons because I had to buy a 6 pack! :D

  • Hey guys!!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD: 19

WAYDTGKU: pnv, bbt, cm, charting, bd, drinking more water

R/R: it's my second day off! yesterday went by way too fast. today I hope to get some stuff done like a hair cut, maybe go to target, and I would like to take the dogs to the park. we will see! still hoping our dryer magically comes today but I doubt it. le sigh. tomorrow i'm working a double (again), so I will try to hop on but idk if I will have the energy.

    CS/Q: ramble warning...

I think i'll have to move to tww soon. I don't have crosshairs yet since I started temping so late but I got another rise so maybe tomorrow if the temp stays up. however my temping times have been all over the place and I have mostly open triangles. I was doing good when I was working in the mornings but on my days off sometimes I forget to set an alarm or wake up too late. I fell asleep on the couch last night so I woke up at 5:15 and went back to bed. I woke up 2.5 hours later and temped. didn't want to temp at 5:15 because I figured it would be off since I had to get up but I think at this point its going to be off regardless. I have a nice rise suggesting either O on cd 17 or cd 15 with a fallback rise. will be interesting to see what my luteal phase is. hoping O was cd 15 because of last bd but with all the ewcm after i'm thinking more like cd 17....if I get another rise tomorrow i'll probably have dotted crosshairs maybe. definitely want to get opks for next cycle. forgot to mark bd for today.

@bows22 yay for YH coming home!! hoping you can get some good timing in. going out with friends sounds fun but I get what you mean about feeling bad if he will be tired. i'm sure he will still have a good time! at least you have to get that growler!

@tyrion_ omg relatable, i'm sorry it didn't work out for night one though :(

@chaos-and-coffee i'm glad the dentist went well! oh no that bill!!! good thing you have a date night with YH tonight!

@dancingtreepose dang taking the hio seriously!! that's awesome lol I would be sore too. that trip sounds so fun! I love staying in cabins :) & to answer your question I don't but it definitely can't hurt. I usually hang tight for a minute or two and then get up and go to the bathroom.

@gingermama29 yay for getting the observation changed! they really shouldn't be doing any on Halloween since a lot of classes just kind of make a fun day out of it no? sorry that the bump app has been glitchy! I usually will only use mine to pop in to read posts but I do all of my dailies on my computer because its easier for me and I can't stand the app sometimes.

@saladflambe that's smashing haha (that was supposed to be amazing but autocorrected to smashing and I love it) pretzels are sooo good with pb but plain is good too! & OH those temps!!! definitely the swiss alps  :D hope you get a better pattern soon!

@mvt2003 sorry about the crazy work and the text you got and the 3 am wakeup :( happy there was milk at work and that you are in a good mood!! that's awesome. good idea on not running in 85 degrees lol! enjoy your weekend :)

  • @bows22 yay for O waiting for your husband to get back. It sounds promising that you'll have good timing. The cider house sounds nice!

@ tyrion_ haha I know failing on the first night is never fun and never feels like a good omen. But at least you were starting early so it probably won't impact timing.

@chaos-and-coffee ooof I feel you on the dentist bill. I'm glad the crown went well!

@dancingtreepose hanging out in bed with my legs up after sex is a hard pass for me. I have a mild semen allergy and I'm prone to UTIs so I'm always up straight away to go pee and shower. But if it doesn't cause you any issues and it makes you feel like you are doing something that might help I say go it! Sometimes in TTC you just need to feel like you're doing everything you can and if it helps with that then it is doing something positive for you.

@gingermama29 yeah it is so much easier to do basically everything on the computer when it comes to the bump. I use the mobile app everyday and it's less than ideal. Super annoying to try to go through threads and reply to everyone. Hopefully the PC site is working properly again soon.

@saladflambe yeah that certainly isn't the most satisfying and pretty chart I have ever seen. Hopefully temps make sense for O when it happens.

@mvt2003 hemp milk is a new one. I have tried quite a few of the milk alternatives (soy, almond, cashew, coconut, oat and mixed of those) but I have never even seen hemp milk. How was it? It is also kinda impressive that you are in a good mood after all that this morning.

@bluetickgal your weekend plans sound amazing. I hope you have a great time!

@konoha that's so strange that your temp keeps going up and you still have EWCM. I personally would trust CM more at this point with all the issues temping. In general temping is far more reliable but, ya know. If it were me I would assume that I'm still WTO and fertile till CM changes to something that isn't fertile. It never hurts to have sex after O so might as well.

  • @bluetickgal have fun camping! :) still want s'mores....will trade pretzels for s'mores!!!

@konoha I think FF waits til you've got 3 consecutive days of elevated temps to give you crosshairs. So, if you're still up tomorrow, you'll probably get CH on CD17. :)

  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD: 12

WAYDTGKU: charting, checking CM, OPKs, PNV, CoQ10, baby aspirin.

R/R: I woke up this morning with a dramatic increase in my sex drive that I typically get a day or two before O. I was thinking "this is great. My husband is home and last night he was talking about wanting to find time for sex so since we couldn't last night I'm sure he will be down for today. It's all working out so well!" And then a bunch of nonsense happened with work and he is in the worst mood. So I guess we will see how that goes. I did an OPK this morning and it was so, so close to positive so I'm anticipating a positive either later today or tomorrow. We haven't had sex since like CD7 (I don't remember exactly) so that needs to happen.

  • @NamelessAria I agree! Thought it was really weird. I usually start ewcm earlier in the cycle too than this one so i'm thinking it's just a later O than I'm used to. thanks for the insight!!

@saladflambe that's what i'm thinking too! Bummed we couldn't bd on cd 14 or 16 like I had originally wanted to. but such is life. I want to try smep but if we can't even do eod smep seems impossible :disappointed:
  • @shoogapoff I'm so sorry you're feeling so down today <3 I'm glad your DH somehow knew you'd need pancakes <3

  • @shoogapoff thanks for the suggestion!! I'll have to look into the ava, i've heard good things about it! Sorry that AF has arrived and you had a shorter cycle, those can be unnerving. hopefully its just a fluke and that the Re can provide some insight. a plate of pancakes sounds like a dream! what a nice hub :)
  • @saladflambe I like the way you think ;)

@shoogapoff sorry about CD1 and the surprise early CD1 at that. Your husband sounds like a really sweet, great guy. If my husband ever brought me pancakes in bed I would be absolutely convinced he had been body snatched and it was an imposter.

@shoogapoff I'm so sorry about CD1, glad YH was sweet this morning!! I don't mind the hemp milk, I obviously prefer cream, but when the alternative is black coffee I'll take it :D My co-worker says it reminds her of skim milk.

@NamelessAria I think it's one of the newer ones! I don't mind it, my co-worker equates it to skim milk.

@konoha your weekend sounds productive!! Awesome!

@saladflambe thanks!! Ah...you can keep the pretzels but have some s’mores too! 😂

@NamelessAria thanks!! Yay for impending O...hope YH’s mood changes after leaving work and you can get some good timing in!

@shoogapoff thank you!! I’m so sorry for CD1!! 😕 How long was your cycle? That’s so sweet of YH, pancakes in bed sounds wonderful!

@whitealbum29 thanks!! That’s good you are prepping for the SA! Switching up your second coffee sounds like a good plan!

    @mvt2003 @chaos-and-coffee thanks ladies!!

@kpearse99 thanks lady, I’m going to do my best!! ☺️ Glad you are back home after a hectic morning!! So sweet YH made dinner last night! We had quesadillas last night too, but not keto! Do you use corn tortillas or something else? I don’t totally understand keto...

@beckylookatherbump thanks! Hope you have an awesome weekend relaxing with YH! Yay for no schoolwork!

We are on our way to the campground and I’m going to “unplug” until we get back in town tomorrow. Hope you all have a great rest of your Friday and an amazing weekend! I’ll probably check back in tomorrow night.
  • @kpearse99 - you're right! A few months ago, figuring out FW every month felt almost like a fun project that I could tackle every month but after a year it's definitely getting to be a slog! But I gave myself a break last month so I am getting back into the right mindset while knowing we're also getting started with testing! Update re: caffeine....yeah apparently that starts *tomorrow* :# , I need to get a couple boxes of some tea that I can get excited about to keep in my desk!
  • @bluetickgal he made the "shells" out of cheese!! He made large circles of a thin layer of cheese on parchment paper and then melted it in the oven. Then topped it with the ingredients, folded it over and put it back in the oven.  It was amazing!
