Month/Cycle: 12/10 (AL)
CD: 5... RE confirmed I did not O during my long cycle and wanted me to start the letrozole and cal yesterday CD 4... so here we go!
BTW - AF arrived today 🤦🏻♀️
WAYDTGKU: preseed, EOD, CM, 5mg of letrozole, trigger and IUI
R/R: Still pretty frustrated with my body. I cried several times to DH last night, even while we were out at dinner. I realized there is a potential they will want to do the trigger and IUI next weekend, if everything looks great of course, and DH is freaking away from Thursday to sunday. So I started freaking out. In reality, with how my body has been working, I likely won’t be ready until like CD 18ish but the unknown makes me so uneasy.
I’m just so tired of feeling like we have to put what we want on hold because of stupid life stuff that happens... like work trips (I was stressing last month that my work trip would mess up the IUI timing... and then I never even O’d - so I need to calm down and try to stop stressing so much about what I can’t control. And just trust the process.
CS/Q: I just started temping, because I’m curious, but my sleep is all over all the time (probably why my cycles are F’d up) and i run REALLY hot at night. My temp this morning was 101.

Ugh @kpearse99 I’m so sorry❤️❤️ Did you call them and let them know AF came? I am not an expert but I feel like you could have ovulated and the bloodwork just happened to catch the drop before AF? I know that probably doesn’t really help because it’s still an unknown. And I’m also so sorry your H has a trip coming up. Even if it’s probably not going to mess anything up I hate that you even have to have that in the back of your mind. Sending so many hugs your way, friend❤️❤️

That is so wild about your temperature this morning! The only time my temp has ever been that high I had the flu. I am basically a reptile and run around 96.6 pre-O. I didn't even know 101 could be a pre-O temp without accounting for illness. Learned something new today.

@kpearse99 so many hugs to you, friend!!
I need to let go of what I can't control, but I don't know how to! The stress from thinking about MH being away if the time comes to pull the trigger is just sitting in my gut and it doesn't feel good! haha Again, I know that there's a great chance we will be fine and timing will work out but ... ugh the thought of "well, what if it doesn't" sucks! Anyway... enough about that! I'm glad you got your stuff done yesterday. The weather is much milder here to (I'm wondering if we aren't too far from each other haha) and a walk sounds wonderful! I just might mention that to MH and see if we can do that. It would be good to clear my mind for a bit.
@saladflambe mmmmmm banana bread!!!! I'd call eating 4 slices a RAVE!
@NamelessAria thank you for the kind words and the support. I know you get it! I am REALLY new to temping, I'm honestly only doing it because I'm more curious than anything but I'm telling you I run really hot while I sleep. I wake up several times to rip the covers off because I feel like I'm on fire, so I'm not surprised that was my temp this morning. It's an external thermometer too, so if it were an vaginal one I can only image how high it would have been. I wonder if this is an issue for Oing...? It's also weird because during the day I am always freezing.
Maybe it's because AF just started...
@gingermama29 nooooo don't get sick!!! Coat yourself in hand santizer all day long!
@beckylookatherbump (funny name!) welcome!! I know exactly how it feels when you come off of the IUD - I had mine removed a year ago after being on it for 6 years. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll try to help the best I can!
Questions: Are temps higher when AF is here? Maybe I shouldn't have started temping since TECHNICALLY it's CD 2 but my RE is saying to treat it as CD 5.... I have no clue what I'm doing!!

@beckylookatherbump welcome! I love the new username!
@chaos-and-coffee sorry you are still waiting on that darker OPK!
@kpearse99 my temps are always higher during AF. 101 is high though. If that keeps up (and you aren’t sick) it might be worth mentioning to your RE. But speaking of your RE I know you are in great hands so if he said to take the meds I’m positive that’s fine BUT I’m not convinced you didn’t ovulate. Irrelevant at this point I know! I’m glad you are finally starting a fresh cycle. Now we just need @bluetickgal ‘s next cycle to start!
Oh also unless I am remembering wrong, we are in the same state, but different sides!

R/R: I had my appt with my OB-GYN this morning, nothing too much to report yet, beyond we're going to start the testing. I'll have CD3 bloodwork, the HSG, and MH is going to do his SA. He did the OTC sperm count test at home last night which did not come back with happy results, so we're mentally preparing for the SA to come back with at minimum a low count, but obviously we'll need the full picture.
We're still full speed ahead on TTC this month, I don't think we'll do the full SMEP this time, but we're still going to track O and make an effort. I'm not feeling the relief I thought I would feel from this appointment, more like abject terror at the road I find myself at the top of, maybe I'll feel the relief once the testing is done?
CS/Q: Nope, nothing of note really.

On another note, I called my RE yesterday since I still don’t have my period..,they prescribed Provera (which I’ve had success with before)...so my waiting game continues since I’ll take it for 10 days as well unless my period starts before then! I’m worried about timing to schedule SHG with vacation now, but hopefully it all works out! I’ve thought about bowing out of the dailies for a bit since this cycle is never-ending...but I’d miss interacting with you all!!
CS/Q: None.
@kpearse99 I’m so sorry for all the confusion and stress about timing this cycle!! Hopefully the increased dose will do the trick. I feel like I’ve seen people start meds on CD1 (although it’s more common to be anywhere from CD2-CD5), so I’m sure it’ll be fine even though AF just started. Hopefully this cycle won’t be as stressful as the last and timing works out perfectly! Oh, I don’t temp during AF because temps seem to be pretty erratic for me then...hopefully yours even out (and lower a bit) after AF is over!
@bows22 yay for getting your to-do list done! And yay for a walk tonight...we are going to try and take one too!
@saladflambe yum, banana bread!! I usually make muffins for easier portion control, but then I just eat too many of those instead! 😂
@gingermama29 I hope you aren’t getting sick!! I’d say that is rough/inevitable working with kids all the time!
@beckylookatherbump welcome...love the name!! Hope O happens soon and your cycle isn’t too long!
@chaos-and-coffee hope O happens soon for you!!
@gh1219 yay for paying off your debt, that is super exciting!!
@mvt2003 glad your appt. went well this morning! Sorry for the at-home SA results, but hopefully you get more clarity with all the tests from the doc! Hopefully the relief will come once you get results and a plan in place! Sending hugs! 💜
@bows22 @kpearse99 AF is not cooperating for me! I just looked at a due date calculator, and if she doesn’t arrive before I’m done with the meds, I’m out for June! 😢 I’ll be cheering you all on for June though!!

@bows22 did you decide if you were gonna start orally? My chart is already a bit smoother this month since I went back. Glad you’re having a productive week. We all have to complain about work sometimes, right?
@saladflambe I LOVE banana bread. No shame. Lol

@chaos-and-coffee sorry for another frustrating day without a darker OPK. Are you also temping?

@bluetickgal good! I do it a lot of the time now. I do stay pretty busy during the week so I love the convince of it! If you don’t make a good list though you can really screw your self up!
