Baby is the size of a(n): eggplant
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)? Biscuits and gravy are probably my all time favorite thing to cook on a weekend morning if we have some time. We don't get around to it very often which is probably good for my health ha
Baby is the size of a(n): Kale, with the fist the size of popcorn.
Rave: Feeling slightly prepared for baby and husband has been working extra and we need that big time. He is also about to reach Journeyman status after apprenticing for four long years which comes with some major benefits.
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)?
Eggs and toast, cereal, oatmeal
Baby is the size of a(n): lantern? Lol
Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: pink
Rant: rain, rain, go away. It's a crummy day out and it makes me not want to leave the house.
Rave: feeling good despite being tired.
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)? Lately, I just make myself an iced coffee and then eventually eat something small later. I dont usually make anything big for breakfast.
Baby is the size of a(n): eggplant
Pretty good! Only a few contractions this weekend. Vomiting is back but I think because I can’t eat more than like 3 bites in one sitting 😒
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)? A bowl of fresh fruit, a piece of toast with peanut butter and pomegranate seeds, and 1 scrambled egg
Baby is the size of a(n): Bratz Doll
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)? I love French toast, but not making it! Also baked oatmeal. Yum!
@mc0303 I tried watching schitts creek twice but couldnt get in to it past first episode. My niece said if we have a girl she wants it named Moira Rose (or whatever the girls name is). I want to give it another try!
EDD/Weeks + Days: 26+2
Baby is the size of a(n): no clue
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)? A big breakfast. Bacon and scrambled eggs. Biscuits and gravy if we are being fancy and fat.
Baby is the size of a(n): eggplant 🍆
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)? Bacon 🥓! But lately I've been really craving Greek yogurt with granola, fruit, and honey.
@dani_0921I believe they check for anemia with your glucose. My last pregnancy I was iron deficient and took Slow FE, no biggie. I also didn't feel symptoms though so I hope at least that if you are you can find relief with a supplement.
@purplefan1 Glad I'm not the only one and yes I do get worried when I don't feel her, I'm having a hard time pinning down her schedule and I don't think she reacts to sweets or cold water like others do. As far as your heart, when you say flubs is it palpitations? I've gotten the big brush off about it. I wore a Holter monitor and never even heard from the cardiologist (good or bad, thought I'd hear something) Hope everything is ok with you!
@runningfortwo81 best of luck on the 3 hour!!
I feel like after having it so easy I'm falling apart all of a sudden. Ha.
@gumby22c love the size this week -- how big is a latern?? lol
@dani_0921 sorry about the work stress! Try taking it easy as much as possible. I've been super stressed at work and finally realized that it's really affecting my health so I'm committing to being more chill. We'll see how that goes...
@purplefan1 I can see how Schitt's Creek probably isn't everyone's cup of tea! It took me like 3 episodes and then I couldn't stop. I like it because it's so light and breezy and the fashion is KILLER. Everything they wear is just drop dead amazing.
@runningfortwo81 good luck on the 3 hour!! I've been starting to get antsy about L&D too. I've been watching a lot of birth stories on YouTube and listening to a podcast called "The Pregnancy Diaries," where women talk about their experiences. It's been helpful for me.
Baby is the size of a(n): Some sort of squash I think
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)?
I don't cook it but a good french toast and bacon....and home fries. UGH. That is what I used to indulge with if I went out to breakfast/brunch. Sadly heartburn is real even without the baby and so I think that is a thing of the past.
Baby is the size of a(n): Bunch of Bananas or a Camping Lantern
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)? Favorite breakfast is either hashbrown casserole or eggs benedict. I love a good iced coffee, too.
@mc0303 no idea, I suppose there are a variety of different size lanterns! 😂 I have like 3 pregnancy apps on my phone and that was the only size comparison I could remember this morning. Probably because it's so random!
Baby is the size of a(n): kale
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)?
I really like making pancakes right now. I just live carbs !!!
Baby is the size of a(n): Butternut Squash
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)? Snoqualmie Falls Oatmeal, with brown sugar, cinnamon, craisins, walnuts, and almond Milk. 😋
@mc0303 Schitts Creek is the best!! "Ew, David!" and Moiras pronunciation of baybay are now common phrases in my household 😂
@ABabyMarshall I remember getting that distorted perception of size when I would get sick as an kid. It terrified me then. Sorry your little one is dealing with that
November 15- 27+3
Baby is the size of a(n):
TBH I havent even looked this week. MH usually let's me know every day and he hasn't yet 😂
First one for us.
Blue
I failed my 3 hour glucose test so I have an appointment for that on Thursday. Then a checkup with my OB next Wednesday.
Not too bad. Cranky about having to watch my diet so much more closely lol
Its. So. Effing. Hot. We had a freakishly mild June and July (only like 2 days over 100), and so I think August is making up for it now. It's been over 100 every for like a week.
I don't think I have any right now.
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)?
We make big breakfasts most weekends, especially now that we're working opposite shifts and weekends are the only time we get to really hang out. MHs favorite is just breakfast bowls- potatoes, eggs, cheese, salsa and sausage. So we make that a lot. But always eggs, no matter what. We have so many eggs (the joy of chickens lol).
Baby is the size of a(n): some sort of gourd I’m assuming
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)? We live down the street from a bad ass breakfast joint. I love all breakfast! Sweet, savory, whatever. My parents are European so I grew up with full English/Irish breakfast (yes tomatoes forever) and I also love a good muesli or the yogurt/granola combo or even just bread and cheese!
Baby is the size of a(n): a baseball glove
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)? Frittata in a cast iron skillet with sweet potatoes, mushrooms, asparagus, spinach, ham and cheddar cheese! It reheats well too for leftovers 👍🏼
@cl4157 - I so feel you on not wanting to cook. It is my least favorite past time these days and I don't like it on a good day. So much delivery and take out....whoops
@angieeeeee 105, ugh! I always hated the 100+ temps in AZ but as they say, at least it was a dry heat - you know, like an oven. Now I have gotten so acclimated to San Diego that if it is over 77 I think it is sweltering.
@ABabyMarshall I get Alice In Wonderland Syndrome with my migraines sometimes and I remember getting it as a child, it was very disturbing. For me it felt like time would slow down, people would sound like a tape player low on batteries and I would feel like I was shrinking or growing huge in size. It is uncomfortable. My mother assured me that I couldn't just slip away from reality and that really helped.
EDD/Weeks + Days: 28 weeks, 3 days. Third Trimester!
Baby is the size of a(n): Eggplant 🍆
In general, been having achy hips, round ligament pain and some pelvic girdle pain. Doc gave me a referral to PT which I need to follow up on. Still low energy but the higher dose of my thyroid med is helping. My morning glucose numbers are creeping up again, the placenta is really rambling up those hormones right now. Oh, and baby decided to sit very high up while I was teaching Tuesday, crowding my diaphragm/lungs, I got out if breath, it was embarrassing.
.
sick today, had to cancel lecture which is a PITA as I will have to record the missed lectures, post online, add office hours and set up a virtual chat 😣
I find the kick counts reassuring, so I am glad those have started this week
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)?
I love a good Eggs Benedict or Bageland Lox (both iff limits during pregnancy). Lately I have been enjoying making pancakes or waffles because they make mu son so ridiculously excited ❤
Baby is the size of a(n): eggplant
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)?
I learned to love biscuits and gravy when I briefly lived in the south. I haven't mastered making them exactly perfectly on my own yet.
Baby is the size of a(n): lettuce head
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing to cook/have for breakfast (if you’re not pressed for time)? Pancakes and bacon.
