This past week has been lazier for me as far as getting workouts in. I've been really trying to get 7500 steps in per say. (I got myself a Garmin Forerunner 35 on Prime Day)
My goals for August are working out 3 days per week and 7500 steps per day plus 10 minutes of meditation per day.
Challenges are staying cool 😂 staying motivated.
I'm about to start the 3rd Trimester portion of the Jillian Michaels Yeah Baby program. I'll have to see how the workouts change.
While I was very active before becoming pregnant, all I can keep up with now is my step goals 10k/day. Working in NYC helps a lot with that. Lol. My focus this weekend is to get more steps than last weekend, about 6k for the entire weekend.
I've had more energy over the past 2 weeks then I've had my entire pregnancy, which is crazy. I'm on my feet and walking all day at work (usually get 6-8k while at work) so I'm trying mainly weights and prenatal yoga. I have been able to add the Peleton bike back into my routine as well, but 20 min is all my booty can take in the seat. My goal this month is to just stay moving.
@kats0727 me too! I was waiting for that second tri energy and it never really came! Now I feel like it’s here. I’ve been walking like a crazy person though since I realized it really helps keep my blood sugars in check. I’ve definitely been sleeping better as a result too! My alarm goes off and most days I’m still sleeping hard!
I'm walking, 7000 steps a day minimum, which is a big decrease from when I finished teaching at the end of June. I was doing 12000-15000 steps a day then. I am also swimming lengths now 3 days a week. I am loving the pool, it takes all the pressure off my back and pelvis.
