  • @leksiL, glad you have been enjoying your vacation! We are going on vacation with my family tomorrow. My DD doesn’t have any cousins but I am glad she can spend time with my brother and parents.
  • @brookert615 what a touching response from your team! I'm glad it went well. And now I want a doughnut!!!
  • @malloryfrommn My bad lol! I ended up getting two dozen because they were on sale for $5 a dozen! It was cool though!

  • @brookert615 congrats on telling everyone at work!
  • @chipsnsalsa20 we have the smallest book bag from pottery barn. Most of the time there is nothing in it but his lunchbox because they keep extra clothes there. He doesn’t really wear it either anyway... I just carry it in for him.

  • Our preschool provides bags for every child. They’re great! Still on the same one for 4 years.
  • Between a 5-lb weight gain and this bloat, I officially don’t have to tie my scrub pants at work anymore. I’m not sure what I’m going to do when I actually start getting a bump. I can’t size up because the pants would be too long.
  • @daffodil_shoe oh no!!! That’s so tough!

  • @daffodil_shoe they make maternity scrubs, don’t they?

I don’t buy my own scrubs, work provides them and washes them. Because I work in a birthing center, they are a specific color that only birthing center staff wear (as an added security measure).
  • @daffodil_shoe fingers crossed that they’re pink like on Grey’s
  • On our way home from vacation. 6 hours trip and we still have 4.5 to go🙈 the almost 3 year old has been a real nightmare but the the 14 month old is doing great aka napping
  • @clee5711, ugh long car trips with uncooperative toddlers are the worst! Hope the drive gets better!
  • @daffodil_shoe they can’t order maternity ones?

  • @doodleoodle ha! I saw pictures of some of the nurses from the 90s, and they used to have pastel pink pants, and white tops with pastel pink and blue baby footprints. Definitely not what we wear now!

@ibabyloveb87 no it would be impractical to order maternity scrubs in all sizes, and to try to figure out how many of each, and to have them washed and ready every single shift. My unit is quite big.
  • @daffodil_shoe this might not be allowed but are you able to maybe cut slits to allow room and maybe use a belly band to hold the pants up?

Definitely would not be allowed! I would be cutting slits in tons of pants, since the hospital launders our scrubs.
  • @daffodil_shoe Hopefully you figure out something!
