The first picture is a comparison between my 9 week US and my 12 week US. Pretty incredible difference! The second is the 3D at 12 weeks. Now 15 weeks, due November 20.
Not sure if this is the right place to post this? We went for an elective early ultrasound to find out the gender. We have two girls and this very much looks different from their ultrasounds. Can any boy mommas confirm?! We were hoping for a boy so hoping it’s right!

@aworkman0712 why are you questioning what the trained technician is saying? They know exactly what they are looking at and can tell you with confidence what they are seeing. For what it worth, that is definitely a boy. If you have such little faith in your US tech, you should think about finding a new one next time. Or requesting someone different.
ETA: I just want to add that I had an US tech that I didn't trust last pregnancy and I requested a different one. Congrats on the boy. Boys have a special little bond with their mommy.
@aworkman0712 if the tech says it is a boy and you are hoping for a boy, why question it? Plus, if you are 15 weeks then in about 5 weeks you are going to have the anatomy scan and can get it confirmed again. Or do the blood draw and see it that confirms it.
We had our anatomy scan today! Baby measured 12 ounces and a little ahead of schedule (he was at 21 weeks and I'm 20 weeks and 2 days). Everything looked great and it was fantastic to see him. Because of my medical history we are being referred to a maternal fetal medicine specialist for a level 2 ultrasound to really confirm all of his organs - especially his heart - are fine. Everything looked good today though and it's more of a precaution.
We had our level 2 ultrasound today and everything looked great! The pediatric cardiologist was very pleased, but we do have to go back in 5 weeks because baby boy was head down and facing my back - basically as uncooperative as possible for a fetal echo. He is already a little stinker. He kept moving and kicking and squirming; he did not care for the 1 hour ultrasound. I loved watching all the measurements and his movements on the screen. He's measuring right on track and the MFM was gushing about how great he looked. It's always wonderful to get good news and a look at our little man!

Go back in 4 weeks for growth scan...anybody else have a baby this weight already? Should I be nervous for a big baby? Lol everything I’ve read has said she’s a little big so I’m jw...
@alysonnd1617 at 23w6d my baby girl weighed in at 1lb5oz, so I'd say that sounds fine. I wouldn't worry about a big baby just yet, it's still so early for that.
We had our follow up visit with the pediatric cardiologist today and all looks good! We absolutely loved seeing baby boy again for the first time in what feels like forever. He weighs about 2lbs 5oz and he flipped from head down facing my back on my right side to head up facing forward on my left side. My favorite part was seeing his squishy little lips on the ultrasound.
