  • @varimama we are finally getting pool weather here! It’s about time!

@flowntheloop I love homemade sauerkraut! So jealous!
  • @flowntheloop it’ll be warm this afternoon but the morning won’t reach 70, afternoon should be 79. I’m in New England.

@jennifer_louise glad you had a good time at bike to work! I think DH’s work does that but he doesn’t participate bc he has an hour commute as it is! I’m sure some of the people he works with do it even with long commutes though

  • @varimama So jealous right now. I lived in New England for 6 years and definitely miss that weather! I'm in the Southeast, so we have had highs in the low to mid-90s this week (which is actually mild compared to earlier this month)
@jennifer_louise Thanks. I'm hoping she doesn't come! It would be nice to have a long break from her haha!
@ejoseph16 @varimama Yay for fellow ferment lovers! <3

  • @ejoseph16 Yay for CH, boo for thunderstorms.
@flowntheloop I hope you feel better and AF stays away!
@varimama Enjoy the pool & strawberries! That weather sounds divine.
@jennifer_louise I love the Ted Talk! Ha! We can all relate.

  • @jennifer_louise great TED talk! Lol! Can you give me that TED talk in about 7 days? My BSC has a tendency to happen fairly quick! 🤣😂 also, glad bike day was fun! I was lurking the past few days, so I’m glad to hear it went well!

R/R: Rant: I got a call back about a job yesterday, but the max salary would be a big cut for me, so I can't move forward. Blah.

Rave: My boss's last day is tomorrow, and I'm working an early shift and won't see him. So today is the last day I have to interact with him!

@jennifer_louise I'm LOL'ing at "thank you for coming to my TED talk".   :D

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 25/9

    Timing: -4, -2

    Typical LP length: ~15 days

Testing: Not yet. Should WFAF, but since we're visiting DH's family next week, I may test sooner just in case. Either way, I'll be packing my pee sticks as well as tampons. Yay.

R/R: Nothing real noteworthy going on today.

CS/Q: Flo says I O'ed on CD16, which would make our timing -4 and -2, but My Fertility Charts says that I O'ed on CD14, which makes our timing -2 and O, so I dunno what to trust. I think I may break down and switch over to FF.

    good morning ladies!

@ejoseph16 - welcome back to the TWW!
@flowntheloop - ugh I have TMJ issues too.  so hard to escape that pain.  hope it gets better soon
@varimama - enjoy your day with Dh!
@jennifer_louise - whatever your reasons, i commend you for being able to hold off!  fx!

    Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD/DPO: 23/12

    Timing: -2, +1

    Typical LP length: 14d

    Testing: BFN today

R/R: cramps and boobs sore the past few days left me hopeful, but reality check this AM.  i could be 11 dpo but obviously the BFN is telling regardless.  i work this weekend so AF will just be icing on the cake.

    CS/Q: nope

  • @ejoseph16 definitely take the nap! It's a teacher summer luxury that I've come to enjoy more than being able to pee whenever I want. :)

@sevenn I am so sorry for the BFN.

@ttcbabyodo oh, the monthly pee-stick vs. tampons. What's it gonna be this month, Uterus?

@MrsVP614 the Pocahontas gif is perfect!

@varimama gotta love New England summers! I am sitting here in a sweatshirt. It's going to be close to 90 tomorrow, though.

@jennifer_louise sounds like you had a great Bike-to-Work day! And yay for free food!

@flowntheloop I've never heard of fermented salsa before.  Didn't know that was a thing!
  • @MrsVP614 have fun saying goodbye to your boss! Those days are the best! Bye Felicia!

@ttcbabyodo definitely make the switch to FF. I haven’t looked back. I even invested in VIP. It helps my mind so much!

@sevenn sorry about your BFN. You never know... you could be early. FX for you!

@emeraldduchess sorry you’re so down! FX for information that helps with YH’s SA. Hopefully you can get some questions answered. And again, have fun interviewing!
  • @sevenn I'm so sorry about the BFN. I hope work isn't too terrible.

@ttcbabyodo sounds like you should have a decent shot at it no matter which O day is right. I hate not knowing the exact date though! I'm jealous of the ladies who can feel it!

@emeraldduchess I'm so sorry you're feeling down. Does your testing involve a 7DPO progesterone draw? That might give you some answers. FX for a normal SA too!!
  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 21/5 or 6

    Timing: decent

    Typical LP length: 10-14 days

Testing: Pee Stick Party on July 2nd with @varimama & @MrsVP614!

R/R: I was totally going to be "so relaxed and casual" about the first few months TTC. Now I'm back to using 3 different apps, but not recording all of my data in all 3 of them. So, I'm still far too obsessed, but not nearly organized enough to make having 3 apps worth it.

Also, all of this summer humidity is f*cking with my lazy hair game.

    CS/Q: nerp

    ___________________

@ejoseph16 great to see you over here! And, damn, that's a lot of EWCM! And yeah, I love daytime thunderstorms, but the night ones can f*ck right off if I'm sleeping.

@flowntheloop oooh, I've not learned about fermented salsa yet! Does it taste like regular salsa but with vinegar? Probably a dumb question lol

@varimama FX for a fun day of strawberry picking and pool time :)

@jennifer_louise so glad you didn't get AF during bike to work day! FX so hard! And I, for one, enjoyed your TED talk :D

@mrsVP614 Damn. I get why some companies don't publish salaries on job listings, but it would make things so much simpler and save time if they did. Giggling at your gif.

@ttcbabyodo yeah I'd definitely POAS in your situation. That way you can either be happily KU, or at least drink worry-free. And I'd personally rather deal with a BFN in solitude than AF disappointment when around the ILs.

@sevenn ugh, sorry for the BFN. I hate the obligatory "sorry for bfn" comment, and wish there was something more comforting and useful that I could say

@emeraldduchess godspeed to your husband today! And has your RE tested your post-O progesterone (sorry if i missed this)?

@emilylove25 yay for the pay boost!

@stassischroeder I know right?! It varied in stretchy-ness, but was definitely EWCM. Super weird! The summer humidity sucks! I just flat ironed my hair (going out to lunch with a friend today), and I have a feeling it won’t be so pretty in a few hours. Ugh.
  • @bobbyflies2020 Ohhhh what podcast? I have an hour commute twice a day, so I'm always looking for new ones  :)

@emeraldduchess Aw, 37 is young and soon you will be testing and coming up with a plan. Good luck on day 2 of interviews. Also, yay for the news about the SA.

@sevenn Sorry for the BFN and having to work this weekend.

@ttcbabyodo I hope packing goes smoothly and you dont need the tampons.

@jennifer_louise Your Ted Talk was stolen from my brain! Yay for free burritos and bagels yesterday.

@ejoseph16 Yay for crosshairs! Sorry you were woken up at 4 AM!

@flowntheloop Aw, sorry it sucks right now, but hold on to your hope- someone in this group is bound to graduate soon!

  • Morning everyone! Been a little MIA on posting since the weekend, but have been lurking.

@ejoseph16 and @varimama glad to see you both in TWW. I also woke up at around 4:30 today but unfortunately no time for a nap for me today!

Will come back to love/tag more.

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 24/9

    Timing: -5, -4, -3, -1, 0

    Typical LP length: idk yet

Testing: Trying to wait til Tues/Wed if AF doesn't show.

R/R: I'm really trying my best not to ss and to remind myself that neutrally noting what's going on in body is for the purpose of knowing myself better. (It is hard lol).

I'm moving desks today, to one right next to the window! Very happy about this move. 🤩

    CS/Q: --

  • @emeraldduchess Yup! It is delicious! I can't eat regular salsa (due to ulcers), but for some reason I can stomach the fermented version in small amounts! My husband is a huge fan as well!
@stassischroeder It is hard to explain. I'd say it has more of a zing to it than regular salsa. The fermentation process brings out a lot of interesting flavors (depending on what you put in it). I've noticed a smokier flavor with salsa ferments! You know how beer added to batter can add that extra oomph? It is a lot like that!

  • Morning ladies! Busy day for me so I will have to come back later this afternoon for tags.

    Month/Cycle: 10/10

    CD/DPO: 28/11-14

    Timing: Great

    Typical LP length: 12-14 days

Testing: BFN this morning... now WFAF

R/R: Had a busy day yesterday at work and wasn’t able to drink as much water as I should be since I’m just getting over a UTI. So I’ll have to drink up today. I’m off to acupuncture this morning and should get DH’s bloodwork results back hopefully. Then I’m off to my regular doctor to discuss my fertility and make a plan for next steps. I’m nervous because I have no idea what to expect.

  • @jennifer_louise @stassischroeder I don't believe they did a 7dpo progesterone workup as part of my initial blood draw. I was 6dpo at the time but I don't think that was part of the conversation.  Maybe I should call tomorrow and if they can give me any more info about the tests so far.
We had a SA collection fail this AM (bad aim apparently, and not enough got in the cup), so DH is going back on the 9th.
  • @emeraldduchess Hopefully they'll publish all of your current test results on your patient portal so that you can see them. And DAMNIT! How frustrating for both you and DH. So sorry that he has to redo it.

@silly_goose I must admit that I was REALLY tempted today. I think the only thing that shifted me away from it was the fact that I had already had my "first pee of the morning". LOL

Edit: As for the fermenting, it has a bit of a learning curve. I definitely had my share of failures in the beginning! Just keep trying!

@jennifer_louise I only use three apps because I like them for different reasons. Ovia - the calendar is easiest to use IMO, FF - because FF lol, and PreMom - the OPK reader thingy is cool. I should just pay for the premium FF so that I can use limelight LIGHTBOX. ETA - wrong word

@silly_goose I'm totally the same way - I'm always secretly a little happy with DH doesn't have fun without me. And wow to that temp climb! Pretty soon you'll have a fever  :D
