Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding our TODAY!!
Upcoming Appointments: Today for 20 week anatomy scan woot woot!
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): pretty good, don’t really have any crazy cravings. But my lord the veins in the my boobs are out of control! I noticed them last night getting into the shower and it is creepy as hell looking!
Rants/Raves: Rant-I have a client who doesn’t how long it takes to do things and always demands work before we have adequate time to complete it. Whatever I’m used to that but last week she moved forward a deadline again. I sent her everything last night as she requested and I woke up to email requesting changes be made by 9am today. Sorry I’m not gonna be in until 10 today because of a doctors appointment so good luck with that. If you had checked your email last night when you requested everything (which I sent at 7pm btw and she often sends emails as late as 1am) we could have figured it all out right then and there. So this is on you. Sorry rant over. Rave-were finding out the gender today! I’m just so excited I can’t let work crap ruin this day for me! Woo!
Questions: not right now
GTKY: No pets for us but we would both love to get a dog
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding out next week!
Upcoming Appointments: June 25 for anatomy scan!
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): My ankles get so swollen by the end of the day! I am on my feet all day,and even though I walk a lot, when I get home my shoes barely fit! I bought some compression stockings, so we'll see how that goes..
Rants/Raves: Husband and I bought a new vehicle this weekend! We both had small old cars that we've been driving for 10 years, so we traded in mine and got a sensible family SUV. It's awesome.
Quick rant: bras are the most difficult thing right now. I want something that will give me shape and support (I was a DDD before I got pregnant..), but not break the bank, because I know they'll get even bigger after birth. So far I have 1 that fits and 1 that 'fits' but I'm close to outgrowing both. What's a gal to do?!
Questions: If I ask for a stool/chair to sit on at work, will it help with my ankles? They're just so sad to look at, haha
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? We have 2 dogs! Swayze is a 3 yr old great Dane/German Shepherd cross, and Maybe is a 2 yr old pug/mini schnauzer cross.
@alaluap - Yes sitting definitely helps, anytime you can change positions from sitting to standing or vice versa. By the last 2 months I usually sat and flipped a small garbage can on its side so I could elevate my ankles.
EDD/Weeks + Days: Nov 8th / 19w + 3 d
Baby is the size of a(n): Mango
FTM/STM/TTM+: 3rd TM
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Baby Blue
Upcoming Appointments: Next Monday for my AS and then later that week for a heartbeat check (June went really fast)
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Feeling good - I have lots of nesting energy. I want to clean and organize everything. Definitely still hungry and have heartburn too but honestly I know this is the best I am going to feel for like a year so I am rolling with it.
Rants/Raves: I hate getting fatter. I know it is baby but there are times when I try to squeeze through places that I usually can get through and now....like going side ways isn't anymore helpful then walking straight ahead.
Questions: None
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? I have two daughters...that should count
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): pretty good all around which I'm so thankful for since we'll be traveling by airplane later this week!
Rants/Raves: Rant: I have to take the 3 hour glucose test tomorrow. I've already started tracking my sugars 4 times a day, so the 3 hour test is just the formal "yes I do officially have GD" thing. So far as long as I stick to the low carb parameters, my numbers are fine thankfully.
Rave: leaving for Hawaii in a couple days!
Questions: no
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? Yes 4! A 12yo Husky (Kiki), 11yo German Shepherd (Poncho), 8yo Hound mix (RJ), and an 11yo blonde tabby (Butch). We6ve had them all since they were young and it makes me so sad to see them getting old.
Baby is the size of a(n): banana I think the bump said
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Pink
Upcoming Appointments: Yes, today very soon, heading to my anatomy scan and then will have an appointment a couple hours after that with my doctor. Really hoping nothing comes up concerning on this scan, my a/s with DS had several concerning items, one of which (his kidneys) we are still dealing with monitoring. So I'm nervous.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): tired and emotional mostly. I cry a lot, over almost anything.
Rants/Raves: I'm WFH today because of my multiple appointments. I'm really hoping to start WFH one day a week soon, its so nice not to have to rush out in the morning and it will help me get organized here at home. I'm also going to start making a weekly cleaning schedule with 1 room per night.. I should be able to handle that.. I'm a little ashamed at how bad my house is right now.
Questions: Does anyone else here suffer from eczema? I am having an outbreak and I'm at a loss on what to do since you aren't really supposed to use the steroid while pregnant, at least the one that I had last time.
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? Yes, loving everyone's pics! We have two cats, one of whom (Alf) is absolutely my baby and loves me so much. He doesn't like MH, lol, which is funny because we did get this cat together. We have a second cat, Lily who kind of hates all of us. I do feel bad because Alfie really picks on her a lot. Then we have an old old maltese dog who is basically blind and really declining at this point.
I'll come back for more tags and to add pics of my furry friends! @kopp5988 good luck at your anatomy scan! Can't wait to hear if you are blue or pink!
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding out... hopefully today!!!
Upcoming Appointments: this afternoon for anatomy scan!
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): other than sciatica, pretty good. Not many cravings, I just randomly get hungry for different things.
Rants/Raves: Rant: work was on my last nerve before I even got there this morning. This same person always has issues with a software program I own. It's him, not the program.
Rave(s): So excited for my appt today! I bought a bot and girl sleeper at Target yesterday so I'm prepared haha. Also, we have a closing date on our new house so @Dancer688 I feel you on the need to organize and clean. I ha e been Marie Kondoing my house for over a week now. It feels great.
Questions: none, other than maybe some sciatica cooing strategies? Anyone use a pregnancy girdle before?
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? None at the moment. We used to have an Australian Shepherd. When we move into our new house we plan to get a cat.
@dani_0921 so exciting!!!! Good luck at your scan!
@creamcheeseplease good luck today! Fingers crossed for you! My niece had kidney issues too that luckily resolved by age 1, but still so stressful.
@gumby22c do you have room in your suitcase?! I could use a vaca!
@Dancer688 I feel you on the growing part! I literally got stuck trying to fit past a box that is in our hallway right now. Me laughing just made it worse and my sister had to rescue me. It gets better soon when the bump is nice and round and cute!
@kopp5988 I feel like today is the office anatomy scan day, everyone seems to have theirs. Good luck!!
EDD/Weeks + Days: 11/28, 16w4d
Baby is the size of a(n): avocado
FTM/STM/TTM+: stm
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: pink!
Upcoming Appointments: next Monday with my midwife
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): still nauseas, but I haven’t been sick in several days now 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Rants/Raves: Rant: my body hurts and is super sore, mostly my groin and abs. Rave: as a result I just splurged on a new pregnancy pillow and a mattress topper, I need sleep! And I’m finally trying a prenatal yoga class tomorrow night, hoping that provides relief and I learn something new!
Questions: none
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? Our 12 year old pup passed away last summer. My husband and I got him together when we were 19 and still in college. He was 11 weeks old when we adopted him and we loved him dearly, but he was sick (cancer) and starting to not act like himself. We finally just finished renovations and now I can have his box of ashes displayed so that makes me feel better, but we miss him!
Also, my son keeps talking about wanting a fish, so it looks like we’ll be getting one soon!
EDD/Weeks + Days: 11/14- 18+4 still measuring a week ahead from anatomy last week.
Baby is the size of a(n): mango this week? I’m all fruited out!
FTM/STM/TTM+: ftm
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: girl
Upcoming Appointments: had my anatomy last week. Back to monthly check ups. Will do glucose at 26- 8/8
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms):
Ok! Have been fine emotionally for the most part but yesterday had just such a rough day.
Rants/Raves:
Questions:
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? I have two dogs! 12 y/o poodle mix... my sweet old lady. Such a funny personality. So smart- can understand very complex commands. Mixed with some terrier though so LOVES murder and has a bit of a stubborn streak. 5/6 year old lab mix is a silly girl. she’s a 30 lb low rider who lives and breathes for my husband. She has come a really long way since we got her- she was just shy of 1 and was a stray at some point. Still doesn’t do great around men and loves to gobble up some turds but has certainly adjusted well to that inside life.
@kopp5988 good luck girl! Can’t wait to hear the news!
@gumby22c Hawaii! Is it your first time? So so beautiful. We’ve been everywhere and it just doesn’t get better than Hawaii. It will be so hard to come back!
@Dancer688 oh so fat and have only gained a couple pounds. I think I reached the threshold over the weekend where I just hate my body. No bump just getting really wide (even my back wtf). We’ll be cute again soon!
@alaluap I basically have to keep my feet up all day. There is now some version of an ottoman in any room I may enter. Re: bras I wasn’t a DDD but they are large. I bought some cheap sports bras from target a size up and those have been doing well under most things.
Baby is the size of a(n): pomegranate, their foot is the size of a gummy bear 🐻
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: finding out next month counting down the days!!
Upcoming Appointments: July 15 for AS/20 wk appt
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I honestly feel really good. I feel like an old lady standing up from the couch or getting off the bed but I can handle that. Still peeing non stop.. I've given up on getting relief from this in the second tri and luckily I am generally able to get back to sleep quickly. No cravings but I get so hungry then when I eat I feel so full until I'm hungry again...no comfortable satisfaction in between lol
Rants/Raves: No rants right now. My rave is the same as always and looking forward to summer. I'm a SAHM and I can't wait to spend this last summer as a 3 person family with my first baby. 💗💗
Questions: none at the moment
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what?
Yes we have a cat named Tipsy (named for a perfectly white tip on her tail) and a black moor goldfish named Swampy. He lives alone because any other additions to his tank have suspiciously died 👀
Hello ladies, I've been off the Bump for a while, but I thought I'd check back in again. @kopp5988 and @creamcheeseplease good luck with the anatomy scans! (Or actually by now I guess they already happened, so I hope they went well ) @dani_0921 good luck with the scan this afternoon! Is a pregnancy girdle the same as a belly band? I've used one stretchy elastic one and I do find it very helpful both for extra coverage when I'm wearing a shorter shirt that doesn't quite cover the bump, and for extra support, especially while I exercise - I sometimes wear it outside my shirt so I don't have to wash it as frequently (on the treadmill at home so I don't care if I look silly!) and it really helps. In the last couple months of last pregnancy I found a more structured band with velcro and stuff to be somewhat helpful for belly/back support. @alaluap I'm not sure if this will help your issues at all since it sounds like more of a cup issue than a band issue, but maybe it could help you a bit. I've been using bra extenders (like for the band, it has a row of hooks and extra rows of eyes) to wear some of my regular bras a little longer since the cup size still worked for a while. Honestly now it's not as useful anymore and I just use it for my sports bra, but they're cheap. @Dancer688 I'm with you on feeling like I'm getting fat, especially since I'm showing more and sooner the second time around. I keep worrying I'm gaining too much weight and it'll be hard to get it off later. I never did loose all the weight I gained from DS1 but hoping I converted at least some of that fat to muscle with exercise, and hopefully can do again.

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Just found out last week that it will be a second boy for us. We were hoping just a bit for a girl 'to balance out' but we care much more about healthy baby and happy kids. Last pregnancy we found out gender but kept it a secret, reasoning that it's no one's business and it's annoying that everyone's first question is 'what is it?' We always responded, 'well, we're pretty sure it's human!' But this time we decided it wasn't worth the hassle of people trying to trick us into telling them, so we decided to just tell on our own terms.
Upcoming Appointments: next regular appointment July 1
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Pretty good, I'm still sometimes craving chicken (we're vegetarian at home), which I thought would pass after the first trimester. I feel a little bit bad bringing it home and eating in front of DH since he's the real vegetarian, but sometimes it's the only way I can feel full.
Rants/Raves: My anatomy scan was originally scheduled for next week, but my midwife said we should do it earlier so it would be between weeks 18-20 instead of after 20, and I was only too happy to oblige So we were very excited to find out gender (boy) and that baby is healthy 2 weeks early.
Questions: Is anyone else finding it hard to tell when you're hungry/full?
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? No pets, but DH would like to have. Of course, he's allergic to anything with fur, most likely one day we'll have a reptile, which I'm more or less ok with as long as we don't have to feed it insects.
Upcoming Appointments: Check up soon, plus still need to schedule my anatomy scan.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Fine for the most part. Tired again, but we've been super busy lately.
Rants/Raves: We're getting new carpet Wednesday! We've been talking about replacing it since we bought the house 6 years ago. But it means we have to move EVERYTHING out. And we have a lot of crap.
Questions: Nothing right now.
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? 2 dogs- 8 year old mutt (nova) and a 1 year old German shepherd (layla) 2 horses- 13 year old quarter pony cross (spirit-my baby in my profile pic) and 17 year old quarter horse (chief) 1 cat- 6 year old mutt thing (rufus) 1 cow- bottle baby we got three days after finding out I was pregnant, so shes 14 weeks old now (fiona) 9 nameless chickens
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: finding out next week!
Upcoming Appointments: Anatomy scan and 20 week OB appointment next Thursday
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): tired. Also in the crying all the time camp. I was NOT this emotional my other pregnancies.
Rants/Raves: my kid refuses to watch Toy Story 2 or 3. We’re going to see the new one when it comes out and he’s going to have to deal because *I* want to see it 😅
Questions: none!
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? Uggh, too many. My husband and I were together 8 years before we had kids, so we accumulated fur babies. We have two cats, two dogs and a red eared slider turtle.
This is my Pepper 🥰 she’s the only one I have a picture of on my phone ATM.
Ugh living on the West Coast I feel like I'm always behind on the convo!
@kopp5988 so happy your anatomy scan went well today @alaluap What do you think of your new car?? MH and I both drive sedans and we've been thinking that we may need to upgrade soon. @dancer688 I feel the same about getting bigger -- I don't totally love it. I can see my face getting rounder and I just don't like it. @gumby22c Good luck on you test!! Hope you pass with flying colors. And I'm SO jealous of your Hawaii trip!! Hope you have so much fun. Just came back from a trip there over Valentine's. It's my favorite! @creamcheeseplease Hope your anatomy scan went well today!! Also - love your cat's name (Alf) - the cutest!! @dani_0921 yay for have a close date! But hope the organizing goes well...I don't envy that! @rogro118 I just started taking prenatal yoga classes and I love them! They're relaxing and help me stretch appropriately. @ABabyMarshall I'm laughing at your description of getting up from the couch like an old lady. I feel the same - I have to like hold on to things around me and get up slowly lol @geshem I can never tell if I'm hungry, full, or about to throw up! It's an evil game of russian roulette. @pintobean77 cute doggie!! @angieeeeee Wow!! You have so many pets! Love it @kurtni I love all the Toy Stories!! I would totally watch it with you @drama_llama love your cute kitties!

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: It's a boy
Upcoming Appointments: Tomorrow AM for my anatomy scan. Pretty nervous.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Feeling really good compared to lately! Still some waves of nausea, but no vomiting for the last TWO WEEKS!! Amazing. I'm a new woman.
Rants/Raves: Rave about feeling better! Rant: my tailbone or butt has been SO ACHY! It feels like I pulled something...every time I turn to the side I get a searing pain and can't move for a second. Plus my calves are so tight for no reason.
Questions: Anyone else having lower back/ butt pain? So weird.
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? Nope! Not a big pet person.
@mc0303 we LOVE it! There's lots more space (we camp a lot) and it's a smoother, quieter ride. We got a VW Tiguan and it's exactly what we were looking for, though the Honda CR-V came close. I'm just glad I won't have to bend over and stuff myself into the back seat of my Aveo when trying to get a sleeping baby out of a carseat!
@alaluap oh nice!! I've been wanting to do more camping and feel like our car has been stopping us. I'll have to check that one out though! It would be so nice to have more space and not have to bend over at odd angles to get in the back seat of mine.
Upcoming Appointments: My anatomy scan is on July 16 at 9 am. I just had an appointment on Monday, June 17. I got my results back yesterday from the tests done and found out I passed my one-hour glucose test and that the baby was negative for open neural tube defects, so that was great news.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I’m feeling good. Last night while lying in bed I craved a crunchy beef taco from Taco Bell but it was much too late at that point to indulge in the craving! I’m feeling really good, honestly. My lower back and hips hurt by the end of the day at work. I get heartburn but it’s manageable.
Rants/Raves: My baby shower invitations I ordered off of Etsy came in the mail and they are simply adorable!!!
Questions: N/A
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? Yes, I have an 11-year old cat and a 7-year old American Pitbull Terrier.
@mc0303 I hurt my lower back while on vacation from so much walking and had a pregnancy massage and that made it feel better. Maybe try that if you can?
Appointment tomorrow morning. Hoping to schedule our anatomy ultrasound.
I finally have more energy but I’ve also been super tired in the morning because I sleep like crap. Mainly craving cookies and ice cream. And pasta salad.
No real rants/raves or questions this week.
We have two cats, a beta fish, and a cockapoo that we adopted three days before I found out I was pregnant. At least walking her gets me off the couch and is decent exercise every day.
Upcoming Appointments: cardiologist on 6/27, anatomy scan and glucose test 6/28
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): pkay, had a lot of sudden pelvic pressure today and still have some discomfort. My doctor wasn't too concerned and believes it's just round ligament pain. I could not find a comfy position at my desk at work today.
Rants/Raves: my husband's aunts reached out to me today and said they wanted to throw us a baby shower and I feel so honored and lucky - this baby already has so many people who love him. My only concern is they want a date after I am 32 weeks pregnant and I'm "high risk" so there's a chance I will be on bedrest by then. I warned them and we are all going to se how things go!
Questions: has anyone else felt sudden, brief, stabbing pains in their cervix? I'm a FTM and went through a lot for this IVF pregnancy, so it makes me nervous. It's only happened a few times over the last couple of weeks, but it makes me jump and it is pretty uncomfortable. Just wanted to see if someone else has had a similar experience! My doctor isn't concerned and thinks it's all part of my body adjusting.
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? We have a female min-pin named Lily Pad, a schnauzer-dachshund name Teddy Bear, and 3 fish. I'm pushing for a 3rd rescue dog, but we are moving to our new house in a few weeks and a new dog and a new baby is a bit much. Maybe this time next year (I can't help that I want to save ALL the puppies!)
@alwayseloquent I had a similar cervix pain last time, but not until later on which is common. If your cervix checked out ok with your doctor, I wouldn’t be concerned. I do have a ton of pelvic pressure and pain, like I’ve been sitting on a bike for too long, but it keeps coming and going in waves so I haven’t gotten checked out yet (I’ll bring it up at my appt next Monday). I’ve gone through IVF as well, but not until after having my son. I feel waaay more in tune with my body and can definitely feel more of all the little twinges, aches, pains, etc. with this pregnancy than before. I think it’s a result of knowing exactly what was going on with my ovaries during stims and undergoing all the different procedures that has made me hyper aware, so maybe part of it is that for you too. It’s hard to relax after all the constant monitoring, I understand completely!
11/19 or 18w 1d (but adjusted due date is 11/5 bc twins)

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green:
two more boys!
Upcoming Appointments:
monday for my anatomy scan with the specialist. Can’t believe it’s so soon!
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms):
tired, huge, not much of an appetite.
Rants/Raves:
The SPD is UNREAL. I just ordered two different support belts since I hopefully have 20 more weeks to go with the pain. I had it with both of my previous pregnancies but not until third trimester.
Questions:
none at the moment!
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what?
yes, a catahoula/border collie mix named Motley and a black cat aptly named Kitty.
@rogro118 Thanks for the reply! My doctor hasn't done any sort of cervical check since I graduated from my fertility clinic at 10 weeks and that seems odd to me. I have 1 week until my level 2 anatomy scan and glucose test, so hopefully he does a check then. I am certainly going to mention the pains. I definitely think I am very in tune with every little thing about my body because of the IVF process - it can be a blessing but also drive me crazy when I analyze everything!
Upcoming Appointments: I have my anatomy scan on the 27th of this month
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I’ve been super emotional this week it’s really weird and I wasn’t like this last time. My energy level is low but Trying to stay positive.

@kopp5988 and @creamcheeseplease good luck with the anatomy scans! (Or actually by now I guess they already happened, so I hope they went well )
@dani_0921 good luck with the scan this afternoon!
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what? No pets, but DH would like to have. Of course, he's allergic to anything with fur, most likely one day we'll have a reptile, which I'm more or less ok with as long as we don't have to feed it insects.

We're getting new carpet Wednesday! We've been talking about replacing it since we bought the house 6 years ago. But it means we have to move EVERYTHING out. And we have a lot of crap.
Nothing right now.

Uggh, too many. My husband and I were together 8 years before we had kids, so we accumulated fur babies. We have two cats, two dogs and a red eared slider turtle.
This is my Pepper 🥰 she’s the only one I have a picture of on my phone ATM.
GTKY: Do you have any pets? If so what?
3 cats. One old-man cat, he is 20 years old and 2 young black cats. They don't allay together so no photos of all three.
@kopp5988 so happy your anatomy scan went well today
@alaluap What do you think of your new car?? MH and I both drive sedans and we've been thinking that we may need to upgrade soon.
@dancer688 I feel the same about getting bigger -- I don't totally love it. I can see my face getting rounder and I just don't like it.
@gumby22c Good luck on you test!! Hope you pass with flying colors. And I'm SO jealous of your Hawaii trip!! Hope you have so much fun. Just came back from a trip there over Valentine's. It's my favorite!

@rogro118 I just started taking prenatal yoga classes and I love them! They're relaxing and help me stretch appropriately.
@ABabyMarshall I'm laughing at your description of getting up from the couch like an old lady. I feel the same - I have to like hold on to things around me and get up slowly lol
@geshem I can never tell if I'm hungry, full, or about to throw up! It's an evil game of russian roulette.

@rogro118 I hope the yoga class is fun! I've been trying to hold off on getting a pregnancy pillow, but I'm considering getting a small one.
@ABabyMarshall I've had a few black goldfish over the years! I love the name of yours Swampy!
@perfectoops my patience is super thin these days too. Sometimes I get embarrassed how quickly I move right into being pissed off.
@geshem my H is into reptiles too, although we don't have any at the moment. They kind of gross me out to be honest.
@mc0303 good luck on your anatomy scan!! So glad to hear you haven't been getting sick lately!

Baby is the size of an heirloom tomato.
Team pink!
