  • @tyrion_ *hugs* I'm so sorry for your BFN and your previous loss. T_T I hope you can have a relaxing weekend. <3

  • Good morning, ladies! Happy Friday!

    Month/Cycle: 11/10(5th cycle AL)

    CD/DPO: 23/3?(FF still won't give me crosshairs)

    Timing: good

    Typical LP length: 12-14 days

Testing: Not even thinking about it right now

R/R: My grandparents' home of 30+ years is on the market and it's giving me all the feels. My grandfather designed and built it himself and we had so many family gatherings there. I knew when my grandparents passed, the house would eventually have to be sold, but I don't think I am ready to say goodbye to it.

DH and I are going to some more tidying up today. I am thinking of converting one of the empty bedrooms into a craft room/office.  We'll see!

    CS/Q: Nope. FF and I are in a fight, I guess. I think I O'ed CD20 or 21.

  • edited June 2019

@emeraldduchess Awww :heartbreak: I felt the same way when my grandparents sold the home where both my mom and I grew up.

@jennifer_louise have fun with your family this weekend!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 18/3

    Timing: -5,-4,-3,-1,0

    Typical LP length: idk yet

Testing: Nope. Goal to wait til AF is due.

R/R: TGIF! DH usually works Saturdays but doesn't have to go in tomorrow, and my plans for tonight got canceled, so we can have a Friday night date and stay out late (we're thinking a movie!).

    CS/Q: --

  • Good morning and happy Friday, everyone!

    Month/Cycle: 5/5

    CD/DPO: 21/6ish

    Timing: -3, -1, 1 (I think, don' t temp)

    Typical LP length: 12-14

    Testing: Tuesday at the earliest

R/R: Rave: Yesterday I jogged on the elliptical for 30 minutes at 3.5 mph and it was so easy! Woot, woot!  I have been exclusively using my elliptical for the past 2.5 years and a little afraid of the treadmill. I think I am going to try it again at 4.0 today to make it a little harder because my BMI is not great. 😬

Good luck to all of you that are testing. I hope you all get your BFP's. <3

@jennifer_louise Yay for your mom cooking! I hope you have a fun time with your family.

@flowntheloop Yay for a clear forecast! Sorry about the SS. I am realizing after 5 months of analyzing this that I get cramping around ovulation from hormones slowing my digestion. Not ovulating. Not implantation. Digestion. 🤦

  • @bobbyflies2020 that's great that you feel so good after your jog on the elliptical. :)  I am the opposite, I've only been using the treadmill at the gym.  I need to switch it up and use different machines for cardio.  The stair master terrifies me, though.

@sunflower_auryn enjoy the extra time with your DH! What movie are you thinking of seeing?

@jennifer_louise have a great time with your family.  Enjoy the heck out of that lasagna! (Now I am craving lasagna. Or maybe just ricotta cheese!)

@tyrion_ I am so sorry.  So many hugs to you today.  I am sure the BFN felt like an extra kick in the gut. Hope you can do something nice for yourself. <3

@flowntheloop that tea gif is me every Monday. :D I don't like coffee so tea is my go-to morning (and afternoon) drink.  What's your favorite kind of tea?
  • @bobbyflies2020 that's great about your workouts!! Hope you can keep it up. But unlike @emeraldduchess I loooove the stair master. They don't have one at my new gym though which makes me sad. It's the only machine I can do while reading! (besides the recumbent bike, but who likes that one).

@emeraldduchess good luck on being productive today! I agree that you O'd on 20 or 21. Do you think FF is mad about the high temps on 16 and 11? Not sure.

@sunflower_auryn that sounds like a super fun evening!! What movie are you guys thinking?
  • Lurking from WTO, @emeraldduchess have you changed the temps on the 30th/31st? I'd be curious to see if that would give you crosshairs................

  • @jennifer_louise @emeraldduchess I drink a looseleaf chai green tea. I often add in cacao powder, honey, and a splash of soy milk.

@bobbyflies2020 Yah, just wishful thinking! I think I sometimes get digestive issues around my O as well! The majority of my digestive problems are right before and during the first days of AF though.

Will tag once I get to work!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 29/7

    Timing: good!

    Typical LP length: TBD

Testing: ugh thought I should test today just in case had unicorn piss

R/R: rant- when you have a negative FF makes that real big on your calendar. Rave- I have a “night at the museum” fancy work event with my husband’s work tonight that I’m excited for! I’m a tomboy but enjoy getting all prettied up on occasion

CS/Q: why did my crosshairs become dotted? It only happened today after the slight dip and the negative test. TIA

  • @EmilyLove25 you were right! I went back in and discarded the high temp on 5/31 and I got crosshairs.
@zaslawlz enjoy your H's work event tonight!
@jennifer_louise FF gets mad at me all the time because I'm not a machine.
  • Look at me, trying to get back into doing the dailies but work has been busy cuz well... My coworker doesn't seem to do his fair share. Ok, better save all my ranting for the R/R 😄

    Month/Cycle: 24/whatever

    CD/DPO: 24/10

    Timing: n/a

    Typical LP length: 13 days

Testing: PGT test results should arrive sometime next week. DH was antsy about it 2 days ago... Which was only 2 days after all the embryos were biopsied!

R/R: my boss pulled me into his office yesterday because he was like "something isn't adding up... I feel like you answered a lot more of the emails yesterday but when I look to see what cases were entered, I saw you had 6 and (coworker) had 17. Am I missing something??". Cases are what we call logging customer calls and emails. We use Salesforce for this for those who are familiar with it. Anyway yeah I was like "yeah I noticed that too. My guess is he didn't enter things on previous day's so he only just entered them along with what he actually took care of today". Also our mid year performance reviews will be soon and it sounds like (coworker) is going to be a little shocked at his review since there's a few procedures he's not following. So that will be interesting.

Boss and I had also talked about how (coworker) told me for my last year's review to give myself all 5 stars (where 3 is the standard "met expectations", 4 would be "exceeds" and 5 is like... "super exemplary"). If you're giving yourself that high of a score you have to heavily justify it and good God nobody is perfect! And for those here that ever have gotten 5 stars, well that's usually been for a really critical patent or an amazing new product. Like definitely not your typical day to day kind of work! Coworker also decided at the time that he would tell me he gave himself all 4's which I laughed at (not to his face) because come one, there's not something in your work that you need some improvement on? Before working here he had worked at the same company for like 15-20 years so I'm guessing he's a little delusional on expectations since every company grades different.

    CS/Q: nope

  • @inthewoods23 sorry you're dealing with all that.  Coworkers who don't pull their weight but try to give the illusion that they do really are the worst.
  • @flowntheloop - sorry about the SS! It's rough.
    @tyrion_ - I'm sorry about your BFN.
@jennifer_louise - yum lasagna! So nice to have guests cook for you! Have fun with your family!
@emeraldduchess - Aw that is rough to have a family home sold! My parents sold my childhood home in 2017 and I still kind of hate to think of the couple that bought it building a life there and doing new stuff to it.
@sunflower_auryn - have fun at the movie!
@bobbyflies2020 - great about your successful workout!

R/R: The concert we saw last night was good and while I was in the bathroom SO (frequently the mayor of any room he's in) made friends with a couple so we might meet up with them again soon! Also excited about our weekend, we're going to RI with a couple of friends I haven't seen in months.

R/R: My boobs hurt, so, of course, I’m SSing like a crazy person. Honestly, it’s been so long since I had a normal ovulatory cycle that I don’t remember what normal symptoms are post O. I assume this is one, though, and I keep telling myself to calm down.

  • @whitealbum29 I love couple friends! Most of mine are through MH also- I feel like he’s just such a social butterfly.

@kpearse99 not that this will help you at all but I had a dog, MH had a cat, and we decided to get another dog. The newest dog and the cat are BFFs and play together all the time- I vote get the cat.

@inthewoods23 ugh how annoying. At least your manager has an idea what’s going on.

@bobbyflies2020 that’s awesome! Where do you workout? If it’s a gym, try the ERG/rowing machine! It’s a good mix up, easy on joints, and I feel like I don’t have to be on there as long as an elliptical to get the same impact

@sunflower_auryn what movie are you thinking?!

@emeraldcity1214 sounds like a great use of a second room! I fell down a Pinterest hole of office ideas yesterday and there were so many cool uses of space for those who craft too!!

@flowntheloop FEEL that gif today. At least it’s pay day for me
  • @zaslawlz hahaha that helps but also doesn't help!  :D DH and I are dog people, and know nothing about cats!!

My friends are fostering a mama cat and her three kittens they found under their patio and are working with an adoption agency, and the one little male cat is ours if we want him.  But again, we know nothing about them!  We don't know how to litter train it, how to try our best and avoid it from scratching the crap out of everything we own... etc!  Our 2nd dog is less than 1.5 years old so I feel like the two of them would entertain each other and play with one another a lot since they both would be full of energy.  And I've always said that if we were to ever get a cat we would get a kitten because then it would be "raised by dogs" and therefore be more dog-like than cat-like  :D  I feel so out of my wheelhouse here!

@mercury94 I hear ya on the different symptoms every month.  I don't know what's normal or typical for my body anymore as it changes so often... it really keeps us on our toes huh?!

  • @flowntheloop It's murky and gray and cloudy here - so sick of the rain! Glad you're getting a break!

@tyrion_ So sorry about the BFN, it sucks!!

@jennifer_louise I saw a manicotti recipe on insta this morning, now lasagna! I think the universe is telling me I should have Italian for dinner!! :)

@emeraldduchess I'm so sorry about the emotions about your grandparents' house. I still feel the same way about mine - it was sold 15+ years ago and was completely gutted and turned into condos, but mentally I still think I could walk in and find it exactly the same.

@sunflower_auryn date night sounds great! What movie are you thinking?

@bobbyflies2020 great job on the elliptical! The key is just to increase intensity slowly but surely, you've got the right way to do it!

@zaslawlz Ok I'm gonna need to know more about the night at the museum! That sounds awesome!

@inthewoods23 I'm so happy your hard work is being noticed and appreciated!! It sounds like the coworker issue will be addressed, which is also great news!

@kpearse99 sorry about the BFN but omg kitten!!! Kittens are so fun!!

@whitealbum29 I hope your weekend in RI is super fun!!

@mercury94 SS is the actual worst. I have to remind myself constantly that my boobs always hurt during my TWW, and it sucks.

  • @flowntheloop Hope you get a good break from the weather.

@tyrion_ I’m so sorry that you got a BFN in such a bad day.  <3

@jennifer_louise Yay for mom’s lasagna. Enjoy the family time. M

@emeraldduchess I’m sorry about the family house. It’s always so sad to lose those memorable places. It does look like you O’d around CD20 to me. Not sure what’s up with FF.

@sunflower_auryn Have a great date night.

@bobbyflies2020 Great job on the workout! That’s great.

@zaslawlz Enjoy the museum event. It sounds really awesome.

@inthewoods23 Ugh. Those co-workers are the worst. At least it sounds like your boss sees it. I have one like that and my boss is just blind to it. It’s the worst when they are bad at the job and just don’t see it.

@kpearse99 Sorry about the BFN. Enjoy your weekend. I think there’s room for another pet in your life, but I’m a crazy person with five dogs, so don’t listen to me.

@whitealbum29 So glad the concert was a hit. Enjoy your trip this weekend.

@mvt2003 Work stress is the worst. Glad you found a way to help with it.

@b_1029 Have a great vacation. I actually really hate it when friends tell me they are trying. I wish they would just wait to tell me they are KU so I can’t calculate how long it took and get all bitter. I think they think it’s a kindness. Like, tell the struggling friend so she doesn’t get the news as a surprise, but it just makes it so much worse for me.

I got blindsided in person three months later in front of all of our friends. Now you know to just expect an announcement, makes it easier to handle in a way. It's so freaking hard sometimes. <3

@flowntheloop sorry you're so tired! Hope the tea helps! I'm totally with you on the SS train every cycle even though I tell myself not to.

@tyrion_ so sorry for the BFN and milestone. <3 hope you're able to do something fun/relaxing this weekend!

@jennifer_louise I hope you're having fun with your parents and have fun with your family this weekend! lol @ "adequate" timing

@emeraldduchess I felt the same way when my grandparents' house went on the market! It's such a big piece of your childhood and it's hard to let go, especially when they're gone.

@sunflower_auryn ooo what movie are you seeing? Have fun on date night!

@bobbyflies2020 awesome job on the exercise! I shudder to think of the elliptical - props to you!

@zaslawlz it's still so early! hopefully the BFN turns into a BFP later. Hope you have fun at your fancy event tonight! As for your Q - the crosshairs are dotted because you put EWCM on CD 28 and it confuses FF

@inthewoods23 ugh what is it with coworkers not pulling their weight. In the same boat as you right now. Hopefully your situation improves after talking with your manager / after the mid-year review.

@kpearse99 sorry for the BFN. How were your travels?! Dang, I don't think I've ever thought a Friday was a Monday - sounds like an amazing way to start the day haha! Kittens/cats don't take up that much space, dooooo itttttt

@whitealbum29 glad you had fun at the concert and made some new friends! Have fun in RI!

@mercury94 my boobs hurt sometimes during the TWW and sometimes not. Total mindf*ck and I'm not sure why it's different cycle to cycle since I obviously haven't been KU. FX it's a good sign for you! This is the first friend who has told me she's going to start trying and I already hate it. Can't wait to see her announcement for June 2020 and then have her tell me all the things she did to "make it happen" lol. I know I will be calculating once she announces.

@mvt2003 sorry for the work stress - I hope you're able to have a nice relaxing weekend! Mmmmm donuts, great way to diffuse tension and start the weekend off on a great note! I agree that it'll be easier to anticipate an announcement right away but that doesn't mean I won't be any less bitter because that's just who I am now lol
  • @b_1029 and @mercury94 and @mvt2003 and @zaslawlz - you ladies are really twisting my arm here for the kitten! haha I know they are tiny but I need somewhere "private" for a litter box and a little scratch post lol

  • @tyrion_ sorry for the BFN!

@jennifer_louise bet it was made with love 🥰

@emeraldduchess my grandparents are moving too. They had been in that house for like, 50 years! It was one of those seats catalog homes! So bittersweet

@sunflower_auryn I loved cancelled plans for the better.

@bobbyflies2020 nice job! I always feel like light cardio isn't going to improve much but totally can if I make a habit of it, or like you did, make it a little more challenging!

@zaslawlz have fun at the event! If you find that unicorn magic, tell us where to find it 😂

@kpearse99 my sister got a kitten after her cat passed away. She said she'd never start off with a kitten again. They have SOOO much energy! GL at the RE!

@mvt2003 hey donuts showed up at my work! Was that you? Lol treat yo'self!

@b_1029 yeah I totally hear you on other people trying. I have this fear my cousin will have 3 before I have 1. Ugh. Also the MOH for my friend's wedding is already KU after having her IUD removed (their first was a unicorn too). Also, let's just go be girl bosses together because we are clearly awesome in the face of lazy coworkers!

And question! If you have a due date in January, would you be announcing today what sex it is??? Because this last announcement totally mentions having a 2nd boy and they most certainly did not have fertility treatments. Soo.... Wtf??? Am I going crazy or what?

  • @kpearse99 get the kitty. :)  My grandparents' home is more than we can afford and in a town that is very expensive to live in. There's also a lot of drama surrounding the settling of my grandparents' estate, so I don't think I could live there with that hanging over my head.

@whitealbum29 have a great time in RI! Where in the lovely Ocean State are you going?

@mercury94 I'm sorry you're feeling so lousy and SS.  Every TWW is a total rollercoaster.  Last month I felt zero PMS symptoms and THAT messed with my head even more than the times when I had super-sore boobs and nausea. :(

@mvt2003 donuts for the win! Ugh, that had to have been so hard to see the house turned into condos. I was looking at the pics online and it hit me that I will never sit in that kitchen having a cup of tea and slice of pie with my nana again (or walk into the bathroom and get knocked over by the smell of Irish Spring soap :D). Both grandparents have passed, but I feel like I am saying goodbye all over again.

@b_1029 I definitely feel the same. It's especially hard when it's someone who wants to give "helpful" advice. Like a few others have said, you won't be blind-sided by an announcement and hopefully when she does have news to share, she'll be sensitive.  It will still be tough, but there is something to be said for having time to process it before it actually happens. <3

@inthewoods23 I have a fear my cousin will get KU again before I get KU once! She is the one who *tw*

Got KU on accident because she knew nothing about her body and thought O cramps were period cramps. She then proceeded to complain the entire pregnancy about losing her body and she wasn't even that excited about having him until he was actually born. I have no doubt she loves him but I still feel like it's an inconvenience for her (she has always been very self centered) when she can't do everything she wants to do. That is, until she wants to post a cute family / baby picture on social media for the likes. When they told me they'd probably start trying for #2 in the fall I was really surprised (and anxious, lol)

Also, I think there's that sneak peek test you can buy that does a blood test pretty early on. My friend did that but didn't fully trust it so they still did an AS later.

@flowntheloop - i am right there with you on the low energy, and have been drinking lots of tea in an effort to abstain from high-caffeine coffee (beyond my morning cup, of course)

    @tyrion_ - so many hugs <3

    @jennifer_louise - have a great weekend!

@emeralddutchess - thats the worst.  my grandparent's home of 60 years that they built is about to go on the market too, since my grandmother recently died and my grandfather a few years back.  it needs some serious upgrades, and i wish it could've stayed in the family.

@bobbyflies2020 - nice work in the exercise department!  wish i could say the same ;)

    @zaslawlz - LMAO!

@inthewoods23 - fx for good PGD!  sorry about the work drama and stupid bosses.

@kpearse99 - sorry for the AF mindgame.  kittens are the best worst

@whitealbum29 - LOL to new bathroom friends!  have fun in the Ocean State

@mvt2003 - sorry for the work stress- hope you can rejuvenate over the weekend

@b_1020 - yes, i totally get irrational and judgy!

  • @emeraldduchess I feel the same way. My uncles went to see the open house after it was finished, we couldn't do it. In my mind, I could walk in, down the long hallway into the kitchen, and find my grandma, mom, great-aunt, and at least one of my aunts. It's the circle of life I guess.

  • @b_1029 and here we are, dying to have a baby bump
    *TW*
My sister was definitely a bit of a diva in her 1st Tri with her food aversions and the "DH can you bring me this/that". Probably hormones but get over it geez. I did hear 1 comment from her at Christmas about her weight which was the same as mine currently. She was always a twig 😒. AND she made the comment about how long it took them and how she started getting worried about how long it would take (oh no a whole FIVE months). Of course that was the month she got her 2 lines.

    Boo. 😠
