June Symptoms

Re: June Symptoms

  • This last week I've had three migraines, when I typically only have two in a year!

I'm really tired in cycles of like 3 days. Most days I get winded walking up stairs.

In the evenings I have to stop eating by at least 8 pm, because if I don't I start having reflux before bed. Ew. Also trying to eat more at lunch so I can have a smaller dinner to minimize this reflux.

@biolprof Don’t let yourself get hungry!  Stay ahead of it if you can. Every time I start gagging or feeling nauseous, I eat some noodles or saltines.  It’s been rough for me too...good luck!
  • @biolprof I’ve been taking Unisom at night before bed and then 50mg of B6 in the AM and again at night. It has helped tremendously! My days aren’t perfect, but much, MUCH more manageable!
  • The headaches are killing me.  I forgot how many I get in the first trimester.   I think they usually die down in the second tri, but maybe I am just blocking them out.

  • @furmomtobabymomma I finally got some Unisom. I think it's been helping since the nausea after I eat is way less. I've definitely noticed I have to eat a little something every couple of hours and that helps too. Thanks for the advice. I'm feeling more in control and like I will make it out of the first trimester!
  • 8 weeks today. I've had nausea for the past three days :( Shoot... I was feeling pretty good, too. I thought I might not end up experiencing it.

It seems to start around mid morning for me, and lasts all day in fairly constant waves until I'm laying down in bed for the night.
  • I was so excited to get in the pool today. I always take it slowly, getting in a little at a time. Within second of my boobs entering the water they were on FIRE. I assume it’s sensitivity to the chlorine. I’m so disappointed- swimming is something I was so looking forward to being able to enjoy this summer.
  • @peppyj9 I was watching gender reveals on fb last night and was crying. Dh kept looking at me like I was crazy.
  • @kbrown2385 Haha, YH was probably so confused. Everything is just so beautiful right now! 😅
  • I cried over GOT preggo tshirts yesterday. Officially on the emotional crazy train too.

  • I’m almost 10 weeks and feel like my symptoms have decreased overall. I never had nausea or vomiting but my boobs were sooooo sore and now they are mostly normal again. Anyone else noticing a decline?
  • I can't wait for 1st trimester to be over! I'm measuring 10 weeks but I'm actually 12 weeks since my LMP, so I'm realllllllllllllly hoping that next week I'll magically be over the nausea and have energy!

  • @DalexRN my nausea has gone down considerably (thank effing god) but my boobs are more sore than they have been all pregnancy. But I would rather deal with sore boobs than not liking food.

  • @DalexRN - I feel like my nausea is on the decline, but I kind of don't want to say that in case I jinx myself.
  • @peppyj9 giiiiirl, same! Yesterday I could barely get through reading my kid Inside Out because I was tearing up. Random (happy) songs will come on and I'll get teary eyed and choked up. It cracks me up 😂
  • Same. I feel my nausea isn't as bad, and my energy is slowly creeping back up to where it once was.  My boobs still hurt and I struggle with constipation but as long as I can make it through the day without puking or falling asleep I'm happy 😊

  • @DalexRN me too, and I’ll be 10 weeks tomorrow. I think it was like this for my daughter, but I’m still freaked out. PGAL is tough.

  • The calm before the storm I guess... Was feeling better yesterday. Today? I was over exhausted and super nauseous. I just monster puked so hard I peed myself 🤢😞😭. Oh yeah and hubby is at work, dd is at her dad's, so it's just me and my overactive 3yo ds. I have no help 😞

  • Evening restless leg syndrome is starting up again, I think I need to increase my vitamin intake.

Nausea is much better but a wrong smell will send me gagging/ dry heaving
  • I'm only functional thanks to Zofran. I've been trying the unison b4 combo pill the last week at night and unfortunately haven't had much relief from the nausea and vomiting. Then I came down with a cold over the weekend so I'm generally feeling like death. My last pregnancy was NOT this dramatic!
  • Is it possible to have round ligament pain at 10 wks? I read it didn't start until the 2nd trimester. I'm having pain and I'm not sure if it's cramping or not.
  • @noranorabobora I’ve been having it since 5 weeks so yes it’s possible. For me it’s an intense sharp pain when I make a strange movement or sneeze. It doesn’t last very long but it hurts.
  • @kbrown2385 and @c1kc1kpol1cn1k, thanks ladies! I get a sharp pain when I cough or roll over sometimes. It doesnt last very long, but every little thing seems to worry me lately because I'm having so many complications.
  • c1kc1kpol1cn1k have you tried Magnesium Calm. It helped a little last pregnancy,  RLS is the worrrrst!

  • @noranorabobora
I get the same feeling when I cough/sneeze to hard or am laying on my stomach and get up. I thought it might be two cysts I have on my right ovary from where I ovulated- never even thought round ligament pain. I'm having twins though so I guess it's definitely possible.
  • @c1kc1kpol1cn1k I second magnesium! My dad had rls really badly and I got him started on it and it’s the only thing that has worked for him. I also take it (we both take magnesium glycinate) and it helps with so much.
  • Hey ladies! I’m 11 weeks today! Yesterday I was have the worst stabbing pains in my right boob. I was in so much pain I started sweating lol thankfully they feel better today just the normal achy. Has anyone had that lightening pain yet? Also, today I’m having a lot of dull aches near my hips and lower tummy to the point where I needed to take some Tylenol.  I’m sure it’s because baby is growing big and strong but I still don’t like it because it takes me back to my miscarriage and its SO hard to distinguish between normal and concerning. Anyone else going through that?
  • @justsuzie @kbrown2385 thank you for the magnesium tip! I went out and bought some liquid form that is a combo with calcium. Which is probably good since I barely have any calcium intake. I'm having a hard time taking supplements my gag reflex is extreme.

@hannahruth32 it seems like the pain must be really intense if you need tylenol, have you tried doing stretches or prenatal yoga? Also when my growing pains started with DD I went to a chiropractor and followed regularly throughout my pregnancy, it definitely helped alleviated pain.
  • @c1kc1kpol1cn1k I hope it makes a difference for
    you!

Ive found my need to pee lol. I was told I was dehydrated yesterday at my appt so I’ve increased my water intake and boy does it show lol. I’m certainly not even close to drinking a gallon but I pretty much need to go every 2 hours if not more often.

Hey guys. My nausea is pretty debilitating at this point. I had to leave work yesterday after I unbuttoned my pants and laid on the floor for some relief. Then I looked at myself and realized this is what it looks like to not be functional lol. I barely ate or drank yesterday so I'm hoping today is better.
  • @MsIan I've been there. B6 and Unisom have helped me a bit and pink stork morning sickness candies but the best thing I can do is sleep enough as weird as that is. The more tired I am the worse my nausea...

@biolprof I'm going to talk to MH about it tonight because it's so bad. My poor DS is getting really neglected right now.
  • Last week I had been taking anti-sickness meds & only threw up a few times. I havnt been taking them this week as im back at work & the meds make me sleepy & I need to be functioning at work & it is rough! 😕🤢

@Mslan I'm in the same boat. The only reason I've been able to function at all during the day is anti-nausea meds prescribed by my doctor. I added the unisom b4 pill at night about a week ago, but I'm still throwing up most of day if I dont also take something else in the morning. I'm a teacher and thankful school has been out! I still have my 3 year old to wrangle three days a week, but she's pretty easy most days.
  • So I've read several times that having extra saliva is a symptom in first trimester, but I feel like opposite this week. I feel like if I'm not eating or drinking water, I'm constantly having dry mouth (which sometimes makes me dry heave). Other than that, sore boobs, tiredness, and some headaches, I haven't really been that nauseous. Which makes me extremely nervous, especially with twins. Trying to keep positive until the next US. It just seems so far away.
  • Probably TMI but recently I have been so gassy. Like the nasty clear the room variety 😬
  • @MrsJessS - 🙋 I try to blame it on DD, and go check her diaper.
  • @marebear15 🤣🤣

@MrsJessS you can add me to that club too. Ds then tries to turn it into a competition. He thinks farting is hysterical.
