@sarahtothea - Celebrate as best you can still - because you never know. The losses really mess with you though. When do you have a Beta?

I'm still waiting for AF to get here so I can get this party started. I'm half excited. half afraid. Last time I had a cyst that was almost big enough to need removed before anything else and I'm praying that it's not over 5cm. Good thing is my blood work came back good, my thyroid is borderline again...I was on meds last time too.

@stillflying Thanks for checking! I had another u/s today (day 15 of stims) and my RE said we are almost ready for the triggee/iui. Hopefully by Friday 🤞

@sarahtothea congratulations! FX this is the one for you!

AFM, I had my IUI last Monday, everything went well, no pain or cramps. However the next day I started a sore throat and I have been quite sick since then, lots of congestion and cough. This week my energy level is better.
On the 17th they will check my beta. I am trying to keep calm and not overthink every little symptom I might think I feel.

Awww! Getting sick is no fun, but glad you are feeling better! It's so hard to not symptom spot! Like, almost impossible! LOL Are you going to test beforehand or are you going to wait for the beta? I would totally cheat lolol

Hi all, hoping to join in this group! I had my first IUI June 8th. We did Clomid 100 mg + trigger and I ended up with 2 follicles, but one was huge at 34mm and the other at 27mm. When I went in for the IUI, I'd already ovulated the bigger one, so hopefully the timing was pretty good. My lining ended up okay but was not great (why they waited instead of triggering earlier), so I have a feeling he'll switch us to injectables if this one doesn't work. I'm not on progesterone, but nauseous anyway just from the natural jump in progesterone after ovulation.

@sarahtothea I have been testing out the trigger shot. But I am debating testing before my beta (maybe the morning of, so I can prepare myself emotionally). How was you result today?

I have my IUI scheduled on Monday, so triggering tomorrow night. Last time I did the shot in the stomach. My RE told me I could though the recommendation is in the hip which I'm debating doing this time. I did take a cheap pregnancy test the day after and it was positive so I know it at least got in my system. Any advice?

@love112314 - ovidrel is what I used every time and I always did it through my tummy. It just has to be sub-cutaneous rather than intramuscular usually

@JWatt5 Thanks! I have Novarel but I think for IUI the belly is ok. I may just try the IM this time to get used to it in case we move to IVF

@love112314 I did the Novarel IM on the hip, DH helped pinch the skin and I gave myself the injection! It did not hurt at all! How did yours go?

@olivklau I couldn't help but do the same ^^ I don't think testing before the beta would be a bad idea. I would do the same ^^

My beta came back hcg 46 and progesterone 11.2 Which is super low for me! Even my cp before at least started at 81hcg and 15 progesterone so I can't say I'm super hopeful, but who knows. They always say the first number doesn't matter, just that it doubles. I go again tomorrow for my second blood draw

Thank you for the support. Unfortunately we’re also out this next cycle as my first US showed a large cyst. Looks like May/June are not my months. FX for all of you!

Hi @love112314. I had my iui last Thurs so on my tww with you. How are you feeling? I felt some light cramping last night but trying not to symptom spot like all the times before.

Thanks @love112314. I have my fx for you as well as the rest of you ladies. When will you do a beta or take a test? My new RE doesnt do beta unless you get a positive so prob will take one Thurs if I can hold out.
How are the rest of you ladies doing?
Its been a rough 3 years ttc. After 4 failed iuis( one cp) with clomid/ femara this past year, a polyp removal, and a very negative RE, we took a break for a few months.I've now lost over 20lbs, started acupuncture with herbs, and found myself a great RE who is so nice such a positive person. I feel so much better already and hoping this first round of injectables will do the trick.

Ugh I am so so sorry. It’s so hard to define that line of how long you can go through one type of treatment before moving onto the next. We are having that same discussion. Hang in there!! Still come over to the July board ☺️
