I have been having heartburn for LITERALLY everything. I remember it with my last pregnancies too but it is just so frustrating to have it start so early.
@Dancer688 I have been getting HB on and off too! My main symptom has been headaches though...:( and sometimes, heart palpitations which can get very annoying!! Lol
@Ambermom043 - Ugh headaches. I love that fun game headaches make you play. Water? Food? Caffeine? Sleep? Is my hair up too tight? Anything to try and relieve the ache.
I had issues with garlic towards the end of my last pregnancy. Those seem to have started already, which makes me sad because I LOVE garlic. Whenever I eat it, I just feel blah. I burp it up, I taste it all day long and eventually get heartburn sometimes.
I get heartburn so bad normally, I'm shocked I havent had hardly any since being pregnant.
I dont know what I've got going on, I don't want to call it morning sickness, but lately almost every time I eat a full meal I end up throwing it up. No nausea, dont feel sick. Just finish eating, feel full, and bam 10 minutes later I'm hugging the toilet.
Does super irritability count as a symptom?? feel so bad, but my patience with my toddler and hubby has been nonexistent the last week or so. Mamma needs a vacay
My uterus is sore today. It has felt a little off most of today but I chalked a lot of it up to constipation and I did get some relief from that. But now it almost feels bruised. And only if I push on it (and even not that hard) or my toddler leaned against it. I wonder whats up with it. Any one else experience a sore stomach around their uterus? I might need some water and better hydration.
@purplefan1 Yes my dog stepped on me and I let out a scream! It's super sensitive and feels a little bruised at times. Same with little cramps around my belly button, they randomly hurt too. Anyone's bellys feeling heavy already? Guess it's just getting used to having a bump!
I'm the odd one out over here apparently. I've never been a tylenol person until getting pregnant, and I'm thinking I may stick with it even after the kid is born. Granted, I've never used advil either so maybe I'm missing out on something great. It's always just been Costco brand ibuprofen in our house.
Has anyone else had small cramps/spasms of their vagina? Strange question, I know, but I’ve had painless fluttering/passing spasms a few days this month and they feel so strange! Definitely unrelated to digestion, and exclusively the vagina. It only lasts a few minutes off and on but feels really weird.
@lex1111 I had some last week. It was weird, and came on really suddenly. Freaked my husband out when we were driving down the road and I announced that my vagina hurt.
I didn’t throw up all last week, so I thought I was in the clear. I had two great days in a row, but then it all started again yesterday when I was brushing my teeth. I’m suppose to have a dental cleaning In a few weeks and I really don’t think I’ll be able to do it.
I’m so scared this is going to last until the end. I felt better around now with my son, but my sister (who had two girls), and my mum (also two girls) both were sick until they gave birth. I really didn’t believe that it would be related to the sex of the baby, but this little lady is proving me wrong so far 🙃. Worth it, I know, but this feeling stinks!
@rogro118 My nausea is also triggered by teeth brushing! I had a dental cleaning at 12 weeks, when I was sick 3-4 times per day, and I found the cleaning wasn't an issue at all. I used the suction tube as quick as I could and nothing triggered me.
Still throw up each morning after my shower... weird appetite, and still very tired. I was hoping to get that energy we all hear about in the 2nd trimester...lol
@angieeeeee glad to know I’m not the only one! I’m wondering if it’s related to the pelvic floor. It seems to happen after running or a lot of walking. Nothing too painful, but definite cramps/spasms.
@swedishmeatball Im glad you know what Im talking about!! It is happening again tonight and makes me so nervous. I truly think it is lack of hydration and probably some constipation. And the uterus growing. I can tell it is higher now than two weeks ago last time I felt it.
Started sweating and got very lightheaded today at the grocery store today. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I came home and laid on the couch for awhile. I have my Dr appt tomorrow anyway so will mention it.
@Kriztyn I had to avoid the grocery store when I was pregnant with my son. The smells always did me in and made me feel awful for the rest of the day. I’ve been doing prime delivery from Whole Foods this time around so I haven’t had to deal with it, especially the fish department! Hope you’re feeling better and you get some peace of mind at your appt tomorrow that all is ok!
My hunger has gone to another level. I am just so hungry ALL THE TIME no matter how much I eat. I really try to stick to whole healthy foods and lots of protein - just in larger portions but it doesn't seem to help. I'm 18 weeks and I know the baby is going through a growth spurt but it's actually making me uncomfortable. I can feel some movement now so I'm happy baby is in there and growing I just hope my appetite gets close to normal again soon.
Anyone else have odd pains, like muscle aches similar to after a hard workout in the groin, thighs, lower back and belly? It feels different than rpl, which I have too. I literary feel like I’ve been riding a horse for the last two days or something but I’ve only been walking and doing yoga, so nothing strenuous or out of the ordinary. I definitely do not remember feeling this sore until much later into the third trimester last time. Maybe it’s a STM thing? I’m border line concerned, but I don’t have any cramping or discharge so that’s keeping me from calling the nurse line this weekend.
@rogro118 yes to the pain. I had SPD last pregnancy and feel like it is kicking in earlier this pregnancy. Also im still having a tightness and discomfort in my uterus and a spot that feels actually bruised. They didnt see anything concerning when I went in on last Wednesday and said the same as you that if Im not bleeding or heavy cramping that is a good sign. Actually thinking of investing in a pregnancy girdle this time to try to keep the weight handled better. SPD and sciatic nerve pain were awful for me the first time and Im not sure how I can do it with a toddler now.
Also, took my kiddo swimming this evening and even when she just brushed my stomach or kicked me on accident in the water it hurt. Like I have done 1000 crunches and just cant bare to be touched there. Definitely dont remember that from first time around.
@purplefan1 that is exactly what I’m feeling! The right side of my uterus felt bruised last night when I did the Doppler. I have an appointment next Monday so I’ll definitely bring it up. Everything I found on google referred to SPD. I had never even heard of it before, but it does seem like that’s what is going on. Did you ever see a chiropractor or anything for it last time? I’m debating making an appointment with mine who I haven’t seen since January. My son was breech and I wanted to be proactive about that with seeing the chiro monthly, but maybe she could help with SPD too. The girdles don’t look like the most comfortable garments to wear 😐😬
@bmmims I just got one in the mail, from Jill and Joey (ordered on amazon). I haven't used it much so far, plan to use it while working out mostly. The couple times I've worn it so far I've liked the support.
@rogro118 sucks that we are both having that same feeling but I feel so much relief Im not the only one!!
I didnt see a chiropractor for the SPD but I went to my massage therapist sometime during 3rd tri that did AMAZING things. I just remember how debilitating it felt and I already feel it kicking in when I try to roll over in bed or when I go to stand up after laying down.
@purplefan1 I agree! I thought I was going crazy feeling that much pain so early on, it’s nice to know I’m not alone.
Last night was bad, I almost called the on-call nurse, but I talked my husband out of it. I couldn’t put any weight on my right leg alone and I got a shooting pain several times while walking/shuffling. It seriously felt as uncomfortable as I felt walking during early labor. I slept ok and it felt better today so I avoided going in for a check up, but I’m nervous to go for any long walks or do much of anything. I’m still sore, but hoping it continues to get better and maybe I just strained something walking this weekend. I’m suppose to go to my friend’s bachelorette this weekend, but we’ll see since I certainly can’t pull out any good dance moves in this condition 😭 😂
I am freaking the hell out. We've been moving furniture for two days, and while I feel like I haven't done any of the heavy lifting, today I'm spotting and haven't felt any movement. Which I havent been feeling movement anyway, so that in itself isn't majorly concerning to me, but combined with the spotting, I'm about to take myself to the er after work.

I hope you have more good days than bad!
@Loveleisure - I am ditto-ing the hunger. I feel like I can not eat enough to be full these days. Totally not sticking to just healthy foods. Whoops!
My symptom is heartburn still. My carb favorites have been doing me in lately
