Re: June Appointments

  • My next appointment is exactly a week from now. Cannot wait!
  • Loading the player...
  • Good luck on your F/U scans, @kbrown2385 and @hanshotfirst77! Mine is this Wednesday, June 5. Super anxious already.
  • @marebear15 are you getting another scan or is it a regular OB appt at this point?
  • @kbrown2385 same EDD, same F/U date.
    TTC#1 since Jan 2015

    BFP 5/07/18  •  MMC found at 10.5 wks  •  D&E at 11.5 wks
    •  Testing showed it was a girl with Trisomy 22. (age 39/40)
9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)

RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.

  • Intake appointment on Thursday then they will schedule my first OB/midwife appointment and my first US! Hopefully they’ll have openings soon 🤞
  • @EmilyE13 - Another scan. I actually get a scan at every appointment! My office has a policy that if you are up to date with copays and bloodwork, they let you have a scan each appointment.
  • My first appointment isn't until June 27th UGHHH torture.
  • @marebear15 that’s an awesome policy!!

3rd viability scan on Weds. 🤷‍♀️

We can all play the waiting game together!
  • I had originally planned to go to an OBGYN near me on june 11th, but my hubby and I work in the city and he's associated loosely with UPenn so we decided to see when they could see me. US is scheduled with UPenn on June 18th... So 7 more days of waint. IDK if I can take it. LOL

  • First OB appointment on Friday (6/7). Will be anxious until then. They didn't say if they scheduled an ultrasound or not, but know it's an initial OB appt, and last time my OB had them squeeze me in for an ultrasound an hour or two after my appointment, so I'm hoping she'll do the same this time if they didn't already schedule it. I can't understand not doing an ultrasound to check and make sure there's actually something viable there.

  • I had my first appointment a couple weeks ago so my next appointment is June 28th for my 12 week ultrasound and genetic testing. I'm super nervous about it! This appointment can't come fast enough.
  • @laurenmicheley I’ll be thinking of you!
  • My first OB appointment is the 20th. I’m both anxious and relieved.
  • @kbrown2385 FX for you, too. FX for all of us, really.
  • Ive just booked an early scan for sunday evening at a private clinic. My first official appointment is tue 25th june at the hospital.

First ultrasound on June 11! It's such a long wait...

I hoping for good news for all

    Edit: not done
  • My next appointment is June 27th. I can't wait! I need the first trimester to fly by and then time can slow down.
  • @persnickity let us know how it goes!!

  • @persnickity - Definitely update us!
  • @persnickity - What's your new due date?
  • January 24th @marebear15 I was surprised to see it move that much!
  • Next u/s on June 20th (first one was May 20th to check viability) I don't know how i'm going to get through this waiting period!
  • My first ultrasound is June 12, I'm always a little nervous, but also excited!
  • Had my first OB appointment on Friday, and they were able to squeeze us in for an ultrasound (I cannot understand why an ultrasound wouldn't be standard with all initial OB appointments?!) and fortunately there is a little bean in there. Measuring exactly on schedule 6+6 on Friday, HB 125BPM. I'm still anxious for whatever reason, which I was really hoping wouldn't be the case this pregnancy. Due Date officially January 25, but likely my OB will schedule a CS for 38 weeks.

  • Dr just called to switch my viability scan to Thursday instead of tomorrow. I know it’s just a day...but I just need to know already.
  • @kbrown2385 - Ugh, no! I'm so sorry that you have to wait another day. You've been waiting for so long!
  • @kbrown2385 oh man! That would make me crazy!

  • @kbrown2385 don't doctors know us PGALers get a little cray cray with apt changes?!

  • @kbrown2385 that's so annoying! Like move a normal ob check up, but not the ultrasound ones!
