Intro - First Loss

First off, I'm so sorry that we are all here. I hope everyone gets their rainbow soon. 

I found out that I was expecting on May 17th after my first round of femara.  I had been trying on and off for 5 years, did about 7 rounds of clomid total and nothing worked until I switched to Femara.  At first my test was negative and my doctor made me wait a week to test again before giving me medication to start it. The day I was supposed to start my pills I got a faint line ❤ we were shocked and beyond excited. Unfortunately I ovulated late which according to my doctor is the reason for my miscarriage.  My uterus was no longer in the most ideal condition to grow a baby and my hcg levels just wouldn't rise. The highest I saw it was around 39. On May 28th I left work for bleeding and May 30th I passed my little miracle baby 💔 
On June 5th (my son's birthday) we had our ultrasound sound to make sure everything passed like it should. Everything looked fine and the doctor gave us to okay to start a stronger dose of Femara on my next cycle. So now we're waiting for that but I'm so impatient. Hoping for better news things time around.

    I'm so sorry for your loss @blackrose-9 this is a group that nobody wants to have to join, but I'm thankful to all the supportive ladies on this board. It sounds like you already have a plan for moving forward and I hope the wait isn't too bad and that your stay here is short.

    I’m sorry you’ve found yourself here. I also had my first loss in May and have found comfort here during a devastating and isolating time in my life. I hope your stay is short.
