Fatigued, sore boobies, and so. damn. constipated. I’m literally doing everything I can to be regular.. exercise every morning, eating 30-50+g of fiber daily (I’m a vegetarian so it’s normal for me to eat high fiber), 100oz or more of water per day, daily probiotic, and sometimes miralax. Ughhh
My feet have turned into fat sausages. Actual sausages. There is SO much bloat in my ankles and feet it looks cartoonish 😩 I didn't think this would happen so early! I have been making sure to walk every day until I hit 10,000 steps, so I don't know if that's what is contributing to all the water retention in my freaking feet, but it's not pretty, y'all.
@peppyj9 not to be alarmist but I’m wondering if your swelling might be worth a nurse’s line call. Sudden swelling was on my “call us” list that I got. Good job get 10,000 steps! That’s hard!
At almost 9 weeks I feel like my nausea is on the downward slope. It’s more like it was during weeks 5-6 than during its worst at 7-8. Crushing exhaustion remains and so does dizziness when standing too fast (MW says this is normal). Oh and the bloat is insane. I just posted this in randoms but I’m going to break out maternity clothes over the next week or two. I don’t even care.
I just have a long list of complaints...... constant nausea with some throwing up, mostly in the evenings; sore boobs, changing sides at night is painful; metal mouth; exhaustion; bloated; irritable & cranky.
I am just about holding it together at the minute 😕
eta: pregsomnia - waking in the middle of the night for 2 hours
@Xstatic3333 thanks! I've been googling info on it because I was surprised by it and I don't have any accompanying symptoms that are mentioned that could be a sign of preeclampsia or anything, so I don't feel too alarmed. It seems to just be normal edema? I haven't even had my first OB appt yet and they're closed on weekends so I don't know who I'd call? I'd feel silly calling 911 lol. Maybe if I call the OB office they have an after hours nurse line? I'll try just to be safe. Thank you. 🙂 Edit: typo
So nauseous, it’s not bad in the mornings but by the end of the day I’m a mess, and I don’t even notice the other symptoms. Living on Gatorade and watermelon currently.
@smount2011 oh man, I haven't had a fig newton in years! I used to love those! I feel like I don't ever see them in store anymore but it's probably just because I'm not looking. Edit: typo
OMG yesterday was a fluke. Today I've taken two freaking naps. Been nauseous most of the day. Really sore boobs. Cramps. And now I can add dizziness to the mix. Ugh. Week 7 came in like a freaking lamb and now is sucker punching me LOL. And I have some heartburn too. I keep telling baby to chill out and stop making me feel bad. So far it's not listening. :P
Terrible morning sickness (less sick by afternoon) Bloating (why do I look 5 months preg after dinner??) Nasty taste in mouth and weird increase in saliva 🥴 Falling asleep whenever horizontal positioning is an option Stupid hungry by like 5pm and evening sickness if the hanger is not immediately addressed 😩
@jitterbug1419 it’s good you’re staying hydrated! Try to eat a little in the late afternoons- might help curb nausea (well.. it helped for me)
@somewhereinnyc - I try to have a late afternoon snack but maybe should try something more carby, I’ve been trying to minimize carbs due to blood sugar but I might just need to give in to get through this stage.
Ive had the increase in saliva too, it’s one of the first symptoms I had with DS and now this baby too. Such a gross / weird feeling.
@justsuzie The last 2 days I have felt fantastic. Weeks 5-8 I was horizontal all day because of my nausea and exhaustion and I just randomly woke up feeling great. Of course that’s putting my brain into overdrive and full of worry but I called my MW’s office and she said symptoms can come and go. Just trying really really hard to believe that everything is ok and that every pregnancy is different.
I’m so dang tired. And neuseated. Mostly the nausea is in the mornings then comes back around 7. Basically after 7 I turn into a pumpkin and no longer function. No food sounds good. And the blump is real.
@leprechaunlady I am literally in the same boat as you. Also is the feeling when you turn over at night like stretching? I have it too so I go slow
Bloated/ metal gross taste in mouth / nausea now all day but peaking at night / min 2 hours of just lying awake feeling nauseas. Luckily I’m on vacation so once I do go back to bed I sleep in.
I’ve started to sleep with two pillows in a half sitting position and find it really helps and gets me through the night easier. Also I started to notice mild ligament pain starting so I’m sleeping with a pillow between my legs.
@c1kc1kpol1cn1k its more if I go on my side at all my boobs are really painful. I have pretty big boobs to start with & now they ache constantly 👎🏻 Ive started using my pregnancy pillow at night between my legs pre-emptively. the symptoms are reassuring but horrendous at the same time
No strong nausea or food aversions yet but I’m only mid week 5. I have some cramping (mostly very mild save for one that woke me up this morning), some lightheadedness, some fatigue, and still some gas though not as bad. Yesterday I was very full of energy but I think that was either anxiety or my increased thyroid meds. I’m still sleeping on my stomach but this morning’s pain has me wondering if I need to get my thigh pillow and really try for some side sleeping.
I’m thinking the next couple of weeks will see a big shift in my symptoms. 😶
In addition to the fatigue, sore breasts, and constipation, I really seem to be cramping more the past two days. I know its normal but it kinda freaks me out!
(9w+5) Still no morning sickness and generally not nauseous, pressure/heaviness in my lower abdomen, super tired, no motivation, cranky, non-stop peeing. Starting the past 2 ish weeks, my boobs have gotten really sore. Makes it hard to sleep on my side.
So uncomfortable it's making doing work challenging. I almost had to tell my students in class today because I could barely stand. My legs and back are aching and I'm so bloated/nauseous. Luckily no vomiting though. I know it could be worse but at the moment it is not fun...
@janbaby2020 I'm so there right now! Spent so much time starting at the toilet willing myself not to throw up my medicine... I've been trying to eat little bits all the time but most things sound and feel terrible on my stomach. No tips here from me except hang in there.
Plus I still have to teach class for two more days. I'm so happy I'm teaching online this summer. The nausea is making it hard to focus but at least I won't have to run out of class...
@justsuzie I had weaned just before getting pregnant, but I've heard it's normal for milk production to tank or stop completely to prep your milk to change.
Overall I feel pretty good, just occasionally having my stomach feel off. But the bloating is terrible! I can't hide it very well at this point. Trying to make it to the end of the month before sharing the news at work. Last time I had to share at 9 weeks with the bloat. Trying to at least make it that far.
I’m kind of freaked out I don’t have more symptoms. Today I’ve really not had any, which freaks me out more. Reminding myself I really didn’t have symptoms with my DD.

My waist is expanding. I know this isn’t exactly a “symptom”, but it is a pregnancy related issue. . I’m between 6-7 and my pants barely fit, which is going to be an issue because we are trying to wait until 12 weeks to share the news! We will see how long I last!
Re: June Symptoms
No nausea yet so that is a plus!
Hormonally I'm a mess. I feel so ragey all the time.

The one plus side- one of the few things I can eat is bringing me pure joy! My childhood love of fig Newtons has been revived lol.

Slight cramping and what I think may be round ligament pain - but I'm not sure since it's so early.
