Hi everyone, I'm in kind of a unique situation and was hoping to get some input. My fiance passed away when I was only 9 weeks pregnant. I am scheduled for a c-section on June 10th and was trying to look into birth announcements so I could get as much prepped as possible. My question is, how do I word the "born to" or "welcomed by" part. Do I just list our names? I want to make sure I do this the right way.
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I don't know if there is a right or wrong way. Maybe something super simple like "Baby (insert name here), daughter/son/child, of X & Y, was born at (Date), (time), weighing #lbs and #inches long. Mom and baby are doing well and are excited to share the news of his/her arrival with you." Hugs to you. Wishing you a safe and joyous delivery.
Re: Birth announcement wording
I like the way @jbm925 wrote the announcement above.
You're a strong mama! Good luck with the delivery.
