Anyone else tired of food? I’ve been doing a horrible job at eating frequently enough and end up feeling shaky because my blood sugar drops then it takes me a little while to recover. (I’m going to bring it up at my appt next week to make sure it’s nothing else to worry about). No food seems appealing really, especially for snacks. I’m heading to the store later and I’m just going to let myself go crazy and buy anything that sounds remotely appealing to try to remedy this!

Nope, I’m a big fan of food these days.... 🙈
Me too. If I see food, smell food, or hear about food, I want all of it.
@melanier26 I'm still in that stage too. I know that I will experience nausea and heartburn after I eat any amount of food so I just can't get excited about it. Every afternoon the question "what do you want for dinner?" just makes me anxious.
For some reason, I've gone off Mandarin oranges, which I used to eat all the time. Other than that, I'll eat almost anything. (I don't eat much meat - no red meat).. carrots and saltines are my go to if I need to eat right now. If I don't eat like every hour, I get nauseous and have thrown up because of it.
We went to a community event and they only had 2 food trucks with not a lot of choices. I got a gyro because nothing else sounded remotely appetizing. Omg. So. good. Luckily I have a lot of leftovers but I told DH we’re gonna have to figure out if they have a restaurant bc I’m gonna need their food again
I had some shredded chicken that needed used so yesterday and today for lunch I mixed it with mayo, diced pickle and green onion for chicken salad sandwiches. I’m gonna have to have that on hand at all times from now on I think. Yum
So have any of you pinpointed any cravings yet? I definitely crave spicy food, like spicy chicken sandwiches. I don't normally mind a little spicy, but I never crave it as much as I am now. I will say that I don't want super spicy, but just enough to get my mouth burning. 🤤
@meagan-t Now that I’m feeling a bit better and spent 2 months not eating anything healthy, I’ve been really craving fresh fruits and vegetables. Especially cold fruits and vegetables.
Oh, and breakfast tacos. I got hooked on my trip to Texas last weekend and had to get one on my way to work today.
My husband and I love in Houston. Our Saturday morning routine since we got married is breakfast tacos and then the grocery store. No matter how bad I felt in the first trimester, I could always handle a breakfast taco.
Right now I'm in a Mac and cheese kick. Or Indian food. The spicier the better...
I borrow my mom’s Sam’s Club card a couple of times a year to stock up on a few things. Today I went in for coffee, bar soap and chicken breast and walked out with all that plus a huge watermelon, 2 big bags of pierogis, Panera broccoli cheddar soup and garlic shrimp ravioli. Oops?
+1 for nothing sounds good because everything makes me feel awful or gives me heartburn. All the things I want to eat - pickles, buffalo chicken, etc is no longer agreeing with me.
@PenelopeSnuz77 I’m worried that I’m starting that “everything gives me heartburn” thing. I had a salad and that shake last night and had the worst heartburn 🥺 that shake was totally worth it though.
Hot dogs must be a big thing either around this gestational age, or because it's the beginning of summer. I've been on a hot dog kick lately too. I had one for lunch at a work grilling event couple weeks ago, and it was so good, I asked my H to pick some up so we could grill some for dinner too. I had hot dogs for two meals in one day 😂
I wonder how much of it is power of suggestion. I'm pretty sure one of my apps said baby was the size of a hotdog recently (19 weeks, maybe?), and I was instantly like, oooohhhh hot dogs!! 🌭🌭🌭

Yes! I remember that day - it was the day after I had my first "two hot dog dinner". I laughed so hard when I opened the app and saw that!

On the flip side, I can’t get enough watermelon.
I also have been eating green apples like it’s my job, I can’t get enough!
And Chips, oh my god chips. It must be the salt.
