@k_mama91I am doing exactly the same thing- over the course of the day I go from lightly bloated to crazy bloated!  Good times 😂

@sunshineandlemons that’s where I’m at with the clothes, too- fake it til you make it, right?  😂❤️

@k_mama91 I’ve unfortunately joined you in the boredom club.

*TW- I went in for an ultrasound on Wednesday at 12w1day. Everything looked perfect and I finally sighed of relief as I thought I for sure wouldn’t have an SCH. Fast forward five hours and I ended up bleeding. We headed in to the emergency room, but had to wait until yesterday for another scan. Baby is still doing well, but I am still bleeding. They also couldn’t see an SCH so they are not entirely sure why it is happening. *end TW

So here I sit on a beautiful day inside and bored. I’m mostly just complaining as I’m really bummed out.

I hope everyone is feeling well and can enjoy the weekend ☺️

@liz110712 ugh I’m so sorry! I’m glad baby is doing good though! For now I have stopped spotting and returned to normal pregnancy discharge but I’m terrified to resume normal activity until my next appt. Like you, I’m stuck inside on an absolutely gorgeous day. This is the first Memorial Day in years we haven’t been at the lake so that’s a little sad too 😕
  • Thanks for the baby supplies advice!

I've put on 5 pounds but it seems to be all in the hips.  Sometimes I think I see a little baby belly but then it's gone the next day so it must be bloat.  I had to use the rubber band trick on my jeans last night, which worked out well because I ate a huge dinner and had some extra room for it.
  • @cpk3535 I really like my lillebaby for back support. They also make one that’s full mesh so it’s very breathable. I like in the desert so breathable is important here!

@ashorkey I was thinking of that brand- are you talking about the Airflow version?  I need to have a breathable carrier, too!

Also, I was too chicken to try a wrap with DD- would you ladies suggest wraps for newborns?  I think I can handle it this time!
  • @cpk3535 yes, the airflow! The lumbar support on it is great. My husband hated wearing out other carriers because they didn’t have the support like the lillebaby.
  • I was running errands today and could not resist this impulse purchase for my dog 😁

  • Omg @cpk3535 I love it!! How cute!
  • @cpk3535 there is some good wraps advice on the Babywearing thread.  I keep seeing ads for the Tuck and Bundle brand of newborn wraps and I'm tempted by it.  I know nothing, but I am eager to try babywearing.  I'll definitely look into the Lillebaby too, thanks @ashorkey
  • @k_mama91 I’m glad to hear that you are not spotting! Good news :)

@blueskychicago12 I love the Big Sister outfit for the doggo!

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding out next week via NIPT (hopefully)

    Upcoming Appointments: 6/18

How are you feeling? So much better now! Evenings can feel sort of "icky" but I'm not nauseous, my sense of smell isn't so insulting, and I don't have painful hunger or super strong food aversions, so hopefully the worst is over. I will admit, though, that I never threw up and honestly haven't been having a very hard time relative to many of the symptom posts I've read. It hasn't been fun or very comfortable, but it hasn't been a nightmare.

Rants/Raves: My hair is growing SO fast, but it seems to be coming in thinner, at least on my legs. Also, I strongly dislike having to wait four weeks between appointments. I honestly might rent a doppler just to listen for the heartbeat at home...

Questions: When are you having a baby shower and making a registry (assuming you're doing either/both of those things)?

GTKY: What is your guilty pleasure when it comes to tv shows? Jane the Virgin, haha. My fiance and I usually watch wittier and artsier shows, but whatever... lol.

@veganelise I think you can order a brand new Doppler for around 50 bucks. I hate waiting too but I’ve heard too much Doppler use is bad.

ETA- we’ll probably do our registry around week 20 and have a shower late September-early October
