  • Due Date / Weeks + Days: 8w1d

    FTM/STM/TTM+: TTM

    Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding out

Upcoming Appointments: May 22 is my 10 week appt, technically my intake appt.

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): Like Crap. I am thankful for good symptoms though.

Rants/Raves: I am so ready for vacation next week. I swear this week will be the slowest of my life.

    Questions:

GTKY: What is the dumbest way you have been injured? Of course, I decided on this question and now I can  event think of a good one. I am super clumsy, so I feel like I get hurt all the time. Just last week I busted my heard open on a door knob. I guess my aunt dropped a side table on my head once, it ended in stitches.

Due Date / Weeks + Days: December 10th, 8w2d today per my dating ultrasound yesterday

    FTM/STM/TTM+: STM

    Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding out

Upcoming Appointments: See my OB for my first official doctor appointment in 2 weeks (last visit was just the intake appointment with the nurse)

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): bloated, sore boobs, nausea/gagging- dry heaving randomly which comes and goes. Don't feel like I am craving anything in particular- just want all the carbs, vegetables seem very unappetizing. I have been drinking sprite and eating kettle chips to ease the queasies when I have them.

Rants/Raves: Just so happy that our ultrasound went well and baby is doing good in there- measuring on track with a HR of 161. I have a small SCH which they aren't worried about and should dissolve on its own. I haven't had any spotting or bleeding so probably would of had no idea it was even there if I hadn't had the ultrasound.

Going to Chicago with my mom this weekend to see Hamilton and going to tell her about the pregnancy- putting an ultrasound photo in her Mother's Day card. She is going to freak out because she has been bugging me about baby #2 for a long time.

    Questions: Not really

GTKY: What is the dumbest way you have been injured? The biggest injury I had was falling off a inner tube being pulled by a boat and getting burned/cut by the tow rope. I still have the scars on my leg- of course this happens like a few months before my wedding but thankfully healed by then. I had the hugest bruise- it was so gross.
  • @Spartanrd4 Rope burn is absolutely one of the worst feelings in the world. I can't imagine how bad that burned and I am glad it healed before your wedding!

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding out. I bought a sneek peak blood test I can do starting at 9 weeks. I am extremely impatient lol.

Upcoming Appointments: had my last apt with my ER today. Next is my OB apt on 5/13

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): nauseous all the time and all I want is bread, which is had when I’m out and about since I have celiac.

Rants/Raves: is anyone else doing progesterone suppositories? I hate them and can’t wait to be done.

Questions: what’s everyone’s go to face lotion? I want a really good, thick one but half of them aren’t pregnancy safe.

GTKY: What is the dumbest way you have been injured? Hm. I’m also bruised up some way. Not dumbest but I got turf toe, which is typically a football injury from wearing high heals and dancing when I was in 8th grade lol

    Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding out.

Upcoming Appointments: 5/30 for high risk OB appt. and early glucose screening....yuk if I pass I still have to do it at 20ish weeks again.

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): Almost all food is repulsive and one minute I can eat carbs and the next gag just thinking about carbs. This is what happen with all foods not just carbs.... cant wait for this to pass, although I was sick until delivery with my son....

Rants/Raves: Just got back from a work trip....should have taken the day off, i am soooooo tired can barely keep my eyes open.

    Questions: none today

GTKY: What is the dumbest way you have been injured? Tripping over my husbands shoe and flying head first into our washing machine...sprained wrist bloody nose and bruised.

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Finding out, but not telling anyone else!

Upcoming Appointments: May 28--we just had the first ultrasound Tuesday, and while baby looks good, heart rate is good,  they found a small centimeter long bleed where the placenta is forming that they want to keep an eye on, so they scheduled me for 3 weeks instead of the usual 4. I'm a little nervous, even though they told me it should resolve on its own... hoping everything is cleared up in a few weeks.

How are you feeling? (Cravings, Symptoms, Etc): Actually pretty normal, for the first time in a few weeks. Morning sickness has tapered off. Not as tired. But I do feel heavier, and the scale proves that feeling correct. :-P Have had a couple moody moments, but that's about it. Also, my breasts hurt ALL. THE. TIME.

Rants/Raves: No sex for a month because of the bleed. Boooooooo!

Questions: Has anyone else had a bleed like that? If so, did it resolve itself? If not, what happened?

GTKY: What is the dumbest way you have been injured? I once broke my finger playing dodgeball. I was also on the school softball team at the time, and was benched for a month because of it. It was lame.
  • @Spartanrd4 Saw your SCH comment, now I don't feel so alone. I've been nervous about mine since they told me...first time mom jitters, I guess.
