How are you feeling this week? Tired and CONSTIPATED AF! I miss pooping lol

Any upcoming appointments? This week I have My glucoses test on Wed and an ultrasound on Friday!
GTKY: When(if you haven’t already) do you plan to start setting the nursery up? I have the room all painted and just ordered furniture. As soon as it comes later this week/next week I’ll start getting it all together. My shower is on May 11th after that I’ll be really getting everything together!

This is my last week in 2nd trimester!! So hard to believe Im about 12 short weeks from meeting this little guy!

Rants/Raves? Questions? Rave: ah guys my bump is finally starting to poke through. Question: Does everyone do the AFP blood work? My OB ordered it but I am traumatized from my first trimester screening coming back with a false positive (like due to bleeding from SCH). She said that most NT defects can be detected upon ultrasound, which I have next week, so I am wondering if it's necessary or could just potentially cause undue stress.
Any upcoming appointments? Had an OB appt today and anatomy scan next Monday!
GTKY: When(if you haven’t already) do you plan to start setting the nursery up? Have not started at all - need to put the furniture that's in there on craigslist and then paint before doing anything. It's currently our cat's room lol and she is not going to be pleased about getting her eviction notice.

@leilee101 Yay your bump! I didn't do any of the blood work because the anatomy scan at 20 weeks will allow them to see all of your baby's organs and detect spina bifida, heart defects, neural tube defects, etc.

@ndz2018 i have been having mango/peach/banana smoothies almost daily and that has really helped with the constipation... you could also try adding some miralax in, that helps too. Hooray for almost being to the third tri!
@leilee101 you have me for a little while yet, but I do wish more ladies would join us

GTKY: When(if you haven’t already) do you plan to start setting the nursery up? we are going to cheat and just evict DD2 so the nursery is pretty much set up. That being said we will have to get the pack-n-play out and a few other baby things for our room a little closer to when the baby is supposed to make their appearance.

Hi everyone!
I've been lurking but didn't have guts to join. The journey was so bumpy, so I'm terrified of everything. I guess it's like PTSD after IF. I was pregnant with twins, but then one stopped developing sometime between wk 7-9. I decided to concentrate on the one that is still there and take the news as news and not bad news. I did the NT and NIPT test at 12wks. And cystic fibrosis and neural tube defect tests at 14 wks. All good so far. I'm having a boy! But regardless of the testing, the nervousness doesn't go away. When does it end?

How are you feeling this week? I have one bad day a week usually, still puking my guts out. But the rest of the time I can eat. I take it as positive because during 1 trimester I was a mess, even lost weight. I've learned to safely puke while driving though lol. And also I miss pooping normally. I eat tons of fiber but still poop like a rabbit some times.

Any upcoming appointments? U/s on 13May. I guess my paranoia reached the OB and he gave me a referral to a high-risk doctor. In my clinic on post (I'm in the military) there is no assigned OB. Every time you go to an appt you have different nurse and doctor. So I had to explain my situation over and over again...agh.
GTKY: When(if you haven’t already) do you plan to start setting the nursery up? I'm overwhelmed with this. Haven't bought or done anything. Don't even know where to start. And I think it's too early.
Feel free to share a HDBD!! I know it popped out, but sometimes it's perky and sometimes it's kind of hiding. I grew out of my uniform pants, bought new pants 3 weeks ago, but already use a hair tie to secure the top two buttons.
