Re: TMI Tuesday 4/30

  • Hahaha!! It hasn’t even occurred to me that will be an issue @aecm ....

I’ve realized I can no longe see my hooha. Which is going to make it difficult to wax again....
  • @MamaK225 I have also felt like I have weighed in higher because I would go days with no movement. Fortunately my most recent craving has been a particular salad and I’ve been eating it daily for a couple of weeks now. I’m pretty sure it’s the only thing that’s gotten some movement for me and I’m still not as frequent as I’m used to.
  • @mia8263 - JEALOUS!

@emqbee - Would you mind sharing what is in this mix/salad? I've tried EVERYTHING. EV. E. RY. THING. Thankfully, it's not constipation, per se, just ... definitely not my usual schedule. Very frustrating.

Me - anovulatory, non-Insulin PCOS, DH - low end of "normal" sperm count
       IUI#1   - 02/15 - Cancelled due to scrubbed sperm count <1MM
       IVF#1  - 08/15 - 13x5-day blastocysts (ranging from AA-BB, most are 5 or 6), not PGS, on ice
       FET#1 - 10/15 - 1 emb - BFP (DD 07/16) (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
       FET#2 - 07/17 - 1 emb - BFN (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
       FET#3 - 08/17 - 1 emb - BFN (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
FET#4 - 10/17 - 2 emb - BFN (changed to estrace + prometrium because of allergic reaction to PIO sesame oil)
    ERA Testing - 12/17 - window moved (-1 day)
       FET#5 - 03/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
    Karyotype Testing - 04/18 - Negative (we're ok)
       FET#6 - 06/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
       FET#7 - 10/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
FET#8 - 11/18 - 2 emb - BFP; looks like one baby is going to make it, DD is due 8/16 (though likely to be 8/9)

  • Of course! It’s romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, grilled chicken, purple cabbage(the little strips), hard boiled egg, shredded cheese. I think that’s everything. I’m a die hard ranch fan but that probably doesn’t help any constipation issues....

im going to start making them at home to save $$ and I’ll probably add seeds and nuts. That might also help. But they aren’t stingey with the lettuce, tomato and cucumber and I think that’s probably the most helpful part.
  • I keep feeling like I need to go, but by the time I make it to the bathroom, which is only a 2 minute walk from my desk the feeling has already passed. So annoying. I may set up camp in the bathroom tonight with The West Wing, and just not leave until something happens.
  • @aecm I'm already putting one hand on the wall for support in order to wipe. This certainly didnt happen until after 30 weeks with my other pregnancies! Ill just say this kid is advanced already! hahaha
    DD1 5/23/14, DD2 12/5/16   Baby #3 on the way!

  • @aecm I had that problem with the twins and had to start coming from behind... it was very awkward.

holy gas, bat man... and its foul... I think I could take someone out with the stench...

If someone could answer @MamaK225 about whyyyyyyyyyyy, I would also be grateful. I feel like the time to get there has definitely increased some of the time.

    @emqbee wait, you...wax yourself?

    @MamaK225 I assume you've tried prune juice?
  • @elcab - Prune juice, prunes. Metamucil. Foods high in fats, fibers, etc. I guess it's just a "new regular" for pregnancy. Just very frustrating.

@ElcaB yes! Haha I do! I have done my own waxing for 8ish years. I love the warmer and wax that I use. And honestly. I went somewhere before my wedding to splurge and have it done and I was very disappointed so I just haven’t been motivated to spend the money on having it done since then. I’ve got it down mostly to a science and it’s virtually painless except one spot that I know to brace for but it’s always SOO worth it!
  • Watching the skin change color around my areolas is fascinating.
  • Last week I developed this tiny little...skin tag type thing on my areola. That's a first for me....

@wabash15 Wait, when you say you eventually had to come in from behind- do you normally not wipe from front to back?

@mamak225 Eating 4 apples a day for about a week finally got me moving. Apples are no longer delicious & I am no longer going like that :(
  • @jrm_14 I do wipe front to back but I come from between my legs not lifting a cheek and approaching things front to back from behind... does that make sense?

  • @jrm_14 I wipe front to back (obviously) but come in from behind.  You hover under a bit, then go up to wipe.  You get the most contact with this method!!

  • Maybe this is a FFTC but I have never figured out wiping front to back. I feel like I must be missing something obvious, I have tried but I just find it counter-intuitive, and difficult. I wipe back to front, but in 2 sections, I wipe the front, and then I wipe the back.
  • @mrosek91 - I'm right there with you as a 2-part'er: front and then from the perineum, back.

Also, I would not be opposed to anyone starting an FFTC today ;) I'm sure I can think of somethings lol

  • I'm also a two-step wiper.  Which i guess matches with "number 1" "number 2" labeling since wipe #2 isn't always necessary :p

but I wipe from middle outward on both - first front then back if necessary.

I’m a one-step wiper, front to back, but I always come in from behind, like @wabash15 described, even whenever I’m not pregnant. I’m finding the rotation needed to do that is becoming difficult, and of course I can’t switch to coming in from the front cuz...giant baby belly. I really wish I had a bidet, lol!!

I didn’t know until HS age that it was necessary to go front to back. Cue a few kidney infections & UTIs & the doctor saying, “I’m sure you do, but just to check, you wipe front to back, right?”  Uhhhhh..... No one ever taught me.

Now, I do & it is pretty much always from behind, even when there was only urine.
  • Still on the constipation bus, but I ate an entire mango this morning, hopefully that helps.

Also, for the life of me can't figure out what BCWW stands for?

In other news, my normal deodorant has stopped working. By mid-day I smell. Yay for hormones. I'm trying out some dove, hopefully that gets things back under control!
Rainbow baby Dean is due 2/17/17!

@WinchesterGirl I believe BCWW is “bow chicka wow wow”

...when in doubt, I highly recommend consulting Urban Dictionary 😜

  • @jrm_14 im opposite...I've always known you *should* go front to back,  but I'm lazy and it feels weird to go literally front to back and not "front first,  back next". I've lucked out though and never had infections of any kind.  I might have changed my ways if that wasn't the case (now I'm tempting fate....)

  • Two part'er here :D
  • Yay @chillycanadian!!

And, yes, BCWW is an acronym for DTD (bow chicka wow wow). One of my girlfriend's started using it a few years back, so that's what I normally default to (sorry for any confusion!).
