Monday B*tch-fest!

Re: Monday B*tch-fest!

  • I was so surprised at the scale last time I went in because I’ve been so active and eating healthy. The Dr I saw that day said ‘you’ve definitely been eating’ and it’s still upsetting me that she said that. I’m scheduled to see another dr for my next appt but I fear she’ll be the one that delivers me now.
I only have one sick day left due to flu and strep I got in September and then I’m the one that takes off when the kids are sick so I’m so stressed anytime someone sneezes around me because I need to make it to June 26 with only one sick day left.
A friend gave me some maternity pants and shirts. I thought they were so cute until I put them on and MH said the pants look stupid.

  • DH came home and I told him about my break down regarding pants. He threw his hands up in the air and said with a huge smile, "Get over it! You are pregnant!". It honestly made me laugh.  He knows me well enough and to see him react so quickly when he is usually the most mellow dude was hilarious.  Every time I say, "I just look fat", He says, "Stop it, you are pregnant and you look great".  I adore him <3
  • @agpandme Aww, that's sweet! My hubby is the same way. I know I haven't gained weight, but my proportions have definitely changed, and whenever I make a comment about how I look or how I feel awkward and unwieldy (seriously, I haven't gained weight, why does it feel like my body has turned into an 18-wheeler that requires special training to drive?!) he just says that I look great and my body is doing something amazing. <3
  • @mia8263 sorry you had to deal with not one but two insensitive jerks! Never tell a pregnant woman her pants look stupid, wtf
  • @mia8263 Ugh!  What a week for you. So sorry that dr said something so asinine. And your husband?  I’m sure you look great & he is wrong!
