Rants/Raves: THE FLOORS ARE IN AND THEY LOOK AWESOME!! We still need to adjust some furniture and the like. We spent the entire weekend cleaning so I am pooped!! Pic of DS’s room in spoiler in next post because bump issues. Lol. (it’s like the only room that is 100% done done!)

How are you feeling?: I feel great, which always makes me nervous.
Rants/Raves: Rant: I still haven't told work yet so getting dressed everyday for the office is extremely challenging. Even on the weekends when I go anywhere because I work so locally I'm nervous about running into people and them seeing my belly. I can't wait to tell work and finally feel FREE to be pregnant!! (the reason I haven't yet is my boss isn't ever on campus (I work directly for the owner) and we've had a lot of stuff going on internally that has caused some stress so I haven't wanted to rock the boat.
Questions: I know I had one but I can't remember it now!
GTKY: What is your favorite flower? 🌺 Peonies!! They only bloom for a few weeks and luckily we got married during that time so they were in my wedding bouquet and my bridesmaids all carried them too

Rants/Raves: Saturday I spent 7 hours ripping out an overgrown shrub in the back yard to make way for our fence that will be going up in a few weeks! It was a good workout, and I can't wait to have a fence for our high energy dog.

How are you feeling?: pretty good.
Rants/Raves: well, I didn’t eat any pizza or anything with red sauce at all last week and I had very little to no heartburn. Just a little bit here and there after eating occasionally that went away without taking anything. So I guess I need to not eat that stuff if I don’t want to suffer. I will probably get some Zantac to take before I eat sometimes because I love pizza. I can’t give it up for the next 23 weeks. Lol
Questions: can I kill MH? He seriously sucks at cleaning the litter box.

@MsBeachNJ I’m impressed you’re still able to hide the bump enough for work! I’m not particularly big yet but I’ve definitely been getting the “is she or isn’t she” stares from coworkers who haven’t heard from me/ through the office gossip yet.

How are you feeling?: Good overall. Anxious about tomorrow’s appt (we didn’t do the NIPT or anything and haven’t had an u/s since 7 weeks, so hoping all looks normal)
Rants/Raves: Looking forward to Easter weekend because we’ll get to see both my and DH’s extended families. We plan to put pink or blue candy in Easter eggs for everyone to open for a super low key gender reveal.

GTKY: What is your favorite flower? Fake ones. I really only like flowers in pictures or from afar. If I had to pick, peonies or daffodils.

@zuuls_mom I've never heard of a blood test being wrong before, is that a thing?? I've definitely heard of U/S with incorrect sex guesses but I thought blood tests were 100%?? Either way good luck at the AS!!
@duewithpu2 good for you for all that yard work!! I have been SO LAZY that I'm not even joining my DH & DD on walks on the weekends, I'm like, you go, I'm gonna go lay down.

How are you feeling?: Pretty good. Still get bouts of tiredness and have some foods just not sound good.
Rants/Raves: finally got to hear heartbeat. We were able to catch it with the fetoscope which always sounds extra cool imo.

@themadcamel Aww, thank you for the love. The pegboard is the best project I did in DS's room, and I love it so much new baby will have one in their room. It was also super easy!
@duewithpu2 We did a new fence a couple years ago. It was a MASSIVE PITA!! Damn you cheap ass neighbors who rent the houses adjacent to us!! I hope your process is much smoother!

@cammie0526 pls tell me more about the handheld vacuum! Which model do you have? We have a regular dyson vacuum and like it a lot. Do you find you use it more than the roomba-like vacuum? I was thinking of getting a cheaper hand held vacuum for just the kitchen area (specifically to pick up the food DS throws...yup he's a food thrower). But am now thinking maybe it's a good idea to just spend the $ on a good hand held vacuum. Or not. So conflicted!!

@janat1717 Interesting. Do you find it cumbersome to take it out to vacuum a couple areas? I am trying to justify something for basically spot cleaning. Roomba is appealing because it's a set and forget type thing.

Rants/Raves: Update on the float spa: it was AMAZING!! No pregnancy pain or pressure and I will definitely be going back. You could leave the pod open or closed and there was low lighting and music that could be on so not creepy at all-highly recommend!

duewithpu2 We are building a fence this year too! We haven't started any prep work yet as the ground is still frozen, but it is going to be a big job! Our motivation is our high energy pup as well! Will be so nice to let her out of the house to run around and play without having to go out with her.

supermom34482 Lately I am lucky to get one bowel movement a day. I am hoping I can get regular again soon. I wasn't having a problem until about 2 weeks ago, so I am blaming it on the pregnancy.

Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of ...: Baby can hear now! I need to get my DH to start singing and playing guitar to the little bean so it will know the sound of his voice after birth! And hopefully the guitar will be soothing to him/her.
Upcoming Appointments: May 7 for AS and midwife appt. It'll be at 21 weeks so my DH can make it for both.
How are you feeling?: Feeling alright. Still tired almost all of the time, and I have terrible allergies year round, but they kick into high gear this time of year. I am trying to limit how often I pop an allergy pill so the pressure keeps building and building and I get the worst sinus headaches. I stayed home from work yesterday because it was so bad I could hardly walk or open my eyes. Any advice to relieve sinus pressure?
Rants/Raves: My rave would be these sinus headaches. Rave is that the grass in our yard is starting to turn green! Finally!
GTKY: What is your favorite flower? Is a lilac considered a flower? I love the lilac trees in our yard, and used them in my bridesmaid flower bouquets. I wish they bloomed longer though. So pretty!

@duewithpu2 "baby is the size of a taco" - they shouldn't make baby comparisons to delicious food. Now I want a taco, but feel weird and uncomfortable about it...
@calliah I think pizza could literally light my stomach on fire from the inside and I'd have a hard time giving it up. The heartburn with red sauce is so real though- it's so much worse than any other food.
@zuuls_mom omgerd you're still having MS? I'm so sorry, lady. I was also for some reason very skeptical of the blood test for the sex. No idea why. My US tech this morning said the blood test is much more accurate than the AS for sex, especially for girls. So you're probably good (although, someone's gotta be that less than 5%!!

@supermom34482 I never had these constipation problems with #1 and feel your pain. I still swear by prunes, as many veggies as I can handle, and force feeding (drinking?) myself water. But it's still not enough. No real help, but solidarity, sister!!

How are you feeling?: DS keeps bringing puke-bugs home from daycare, so that's been .... gross. But I do think that fabled second tri honeymoon phase is starting to kick in.
Rants/Raves: 2 non-pregnancy related raves: we finally got my new car this weekend (Subaru Forester) and I loooove it. I also just spend the last 20 minutes snuggling with my workplace's facility therapy dog. Totally covered in fur, and totally worth it.

GTKY: What is your favorite flower? Like a lot of others, peonies and lilacs. Lilacs don't really seem to grow much where I live now, so they remind me of home.
