Good morning! We made it to Friday! Enjoy the dancing gnome.

Month/Cycle: 9/8 (third cycle AL)

CD: 15

WAYDTGKU: Prenatal vitamins, Fertility Friend, temping, OPKs, HIO, fertility tea, cutting down on alcohol and generally making healthy choices.

R/R: My class is off the wall. I don't know who needs vacation more, them or me! I'm meeting two of my friends for dinner tonight and I can't wait! I just hope I can stay awake because I am exhausted.

CS/Q: I posted in the questions thread about having 4 days of + OPKs but no other strong signs of O. I took 2 temps this morning because my thermometer seems to be favoring 97.18. Not sure which temp to use, so I put a screenshot of my chart with both. 🤷‍♀️ Feeling like a total newb this month.

@emeraldduchess I’m not sure what’s going on with your chart.. has the line on your opk been equal or darker to the control line? Maybe it’s about to happen but hasn’t peaked yet. Have a great dinner tonight! Is this your last day before vacation ?

@misshelen86 it's been equally as dark, and a teeny bit darker on yesterday's AM test. But my urine has also been super concentrated so I wonder if that has something to do with it.

Yes, it's the last day before vacation, thank goodness!!

@emeraldduchess I feel like this is one of those times where the “What does a positive OPK look like” would be helpful and we could look at your OPKs and assess with you haha

R/R: I had some weird spotting yesterday, hoping that was nothing. I don’t think I’m anywhere near O yet (I had a 8 days of EWCM last cycle but OPKs have not gotten darker over the last couple of days) but just hoping it's not this weekend because of having people at my house.

Thanks for the tips on taking my temp yesterday ladies. I’m just gonna stick with a time and mark it as sleep deprived if I feel like waking up could have affected it.

@emeraldduchess – sorry your class is being crazy, hopefully things calm down for you. That’s annoying about your thermometer and OPKs but I have no advice for you, sorry!

@emeraldduchess I vote the adult always needs the vacation lol. Your chart is very perplexing and I definitely think being able to post your OPKs would be helpful and maybe give you peace of mind!

WAYDTGKU: IVF, PNV, Vitamin D, BCP for 3 weeks (I think)

R/R: RE appointment this morning is just sent lab work and getting my IVF calendar. Yay! I have no idea how soon they expect me to order all the meds, but I definitely still need to research options. It's hard when you don't know what you'll be taking or how much and how long! I tried putting in some of the common meds in my "price a medication" tool my prescription insurance has. I probably didn't do numbers right but everything was showing up as like $1k+ for 10 days of stims. Why is this shit not cheap? Plenty of people do IVF! Oh well... *All hail our best egg of HSA dollars*

CS/Q: nah, although I'm so curious to temp being on the BCP just to see what it looks like.

@emeraldduchess Not too much planned yet. We are going to look at paint samples tomorrow (we are painting all the rooms on the main floor) and probably dinner with the IL’s on Sunday.

Quick update - RE says my lining looks good enough to try again & that I already have a 12mm poking thru, so the letrozole starts today & I’m back on Tuesday to see where we are at

WAYDTGKU: haven’t decided entirely yet. At least Letrozole, OPK, and BBT. Need to be better about exercise, and cutting carbs. Considering some RRLT, inositol.

R/R: great work trip and home late tonight. Sad about this BFN, but I’ll be okay.

CS/Q: nothing to see yet.

@chichiphin I love doing yard projects! I hope you get lots done. Do you have patio furniture? This seems like a good weekend for drinks outside in the evening. *And yay that you got the green light this cycle!

@justkeepswimming8 That's weird about the spotting so early in your cycle. Do you usually get spotting around O?

@inthewoods23 I paid $1200 for stims and they sent a bunch of needles that you would use if you were mixing meds, but I'm not and I use the Follistim pen which has it's own needles. I'm sure they charged me for them and I'm feeling pretty bitter about it.

WAYDTGKU: All the things, plus Follistim, IUI and progesterone.

R/R: I'm off today and getting ready for a solo hike at one of our state parks. I think it will do wonders for my mental state.

R/R: Excited for the warm weather this weekend, I need to get some serious garden work done.

CS/Q: today I have definitely had a clear temp spike but no positive OPK, I did have a solid smiley yesterday (on cb advanced) but yesterday and today the regular CB Opks and wandfo's are not really that dark, I test twice a day so not sure what's up here.

WAYDTGKU: Sex EOD and tracking CM

R/R: DH came home yesterday and it coincided with the arrival of EWCM. Perfect! I ended up coming down with a stomach bug while he was gone that put a damper on my enjoyment of having the bed to myself and also will cause me to work all day tomorrow to catch up but on the positive side I am feeling better finally!

@emeraldduchess I agree with the others on no O yet but soon!

@ruby696 I’ll go to bed a bit later but will probably sleep nights over the weekend since I’m off for a few. The rest of the time I’m on nights I only get 2 off so I’ll pretty much live on night mode because it’s hard flipping back and forth in such a short time. Enjoy your hike! That sounds heavenly!

@ruby696 - usually I don't have spotting around O. I'm spotting even more today and OPKs are no where near positive. Hopefully in the morning I'll get a positive or at least darker then? I haven't had a cycle with an O earlier than CD17 in the last 5 cycles so I wasn't really expecting it this early. Good thing I'm temping I guess. So frustrating.
