Rice cereal and pumping??

I have been EBF until this week.  My son is 6 months old and seems unsatisfied with just nursing, so I have added rice a few times and he seems to be happier with that. He also has recently started to have really bad reflux with breast milk without rice and throws it all up. The issue I have is that I don’t have time to pump that many times a day to keep up with it. I have thought about switching to formula or just adding lots more solids? What have you guys done to keep them full and happy??

    I would discuss with your pediatrician, but last I heard it was discouraged to put rice cereal in a bottle. I also find it odd that he’s just now developing reflux. I was under the impression it usually was at least starting to go away by 6 months.
    We’re BF/pumping and doing 1-2 tbsp of purées three times a day.
