I'm sorry I missed March's checkin, i kept waiting for my appointment to make sure everything was good and then it just felt too late to update. Thankfully things are going well, i slipped on the ice a couple weeks ago so last week i got a surprise U/S during my monthly appointment and it was great to see LO is really in there doing great. (It's hard to believe it really is happening still)

We heard baby's heartbeat last week, which has me feeling very relieved and so grateful. 💖 I know I wasn't here on TTGP long, but I really value the friendships I made here. It warms my heart so much that I am tagged in this thread. Rooting for you all, and sending lots of warm hugs your way. ❤

Lol, no. DH is a boob and doesn’t like any of my potential boy names. He is great at finding new girl names tho so now I want to have a zillion girls (but I bet $100 there’s a boy in my ute). He sucks.

Not much. We’re in spring cleaning mode to prep the new nursery so a ton of sh*t is getting thrown out. Also, we’re getting new floors (vinyl plank - it’s a fancy waterproof stone composite floor that looks like hardwood) in our entire house next week so I’m full of hope that we’ll all survive that. Which reminds me...I need to order my Roomba also...ain’t no way I’m gonna be sweeping everyday.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We’re working on it, but haven’t settled on anything yet. I got MH to download a baby name app and he complained about not wanting to pick a name from an app… so I went to the library and got some baby name books and told him to take a look at those. He complained about that too. I can’t win with this guy.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? We got our NIPT and NT scan back already. Everything is low risk and we’re having a boy! It still feels surreal at times.

To the IF ladies:

I’m so so sorry for posting in the IF thread last week. I got excited when I saw the IRL connection and didn’t take the time to check myself before posting. I realized immediately how inappropriate it was and I sincerely apologize. I lurk your thread all the time and feel so connected to some of you. I’m rooting so hard for you guys!

DH commented on it last week and for some reason, I still can't quite bring myself to talk to him about it. I do know our girl name as that has always been decided (by me before meeting DH and he also liked it when we *albeit very early in life, 15 🙈* discussed future children). Our boys name is one I think we agreed on pre losses.....

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? We started opening up and sharing the news slowly and it's just so scary. Even after several good appts my head is just not fully wrapped around the situation. I'm planning our official announcement (and seriously struggling on the right wording to convey the heartache and heaviness this journey has had). I'm still in shock that this is happening.....

It has saddened me so much to see TTCAL growing. Every new post just breaks my heart. So many times I've wanted to offer support and have had to reel myself in. My inbox is ALWAYS open to those of you who need an internet strangers shoulder, even if we never interacted prior.

*Which birth month board/due date? I was due March 20, Lucy decided to show up on the 15th after 5 1/2hrs of contractions. She beat my midwife and birth photographer to the hospital. DH likes to tell people she practically fell out, which does not say good things for the size of my vagina...

I’m sorry for all the driveby’s you have all been dealing with lately. If you ever need someone to take one for the team, let me know. We'd chosen our name back in the first trimester because we wanted to use family names for both first and middle: Mason Dean

I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes 2 weeks ago. I spent the last week tracking my blood sugar and saw my OB yesterday. She said it seems well managed with diet and that she doesn't think I'll need any medication. I have the GD diet class today with the nutritionist and then I see the specialist next week for an ultrasound and to go over how I'm doing. I was really bummed out at first, but since it hasn't been so bad. I've even been able to have pasta as long as I keep it within the packaged "recommended serving". I've never measured something like pasta before in my life! It's also weird having to eat before bed because I've always grown up being told to not eat too close to bed time.

Our baby shower is this Saturday and I am super excited about it! I just hope the rain will hold out till Sunday since we are doing it in our backyard at home. DH is pretty excited too since we are doing co-ed and all his friends are coming.

I got a fetal Doppler I only used it once so far but it was amazing. My RE only let us hear the heartbeat for a quick second so it was so nice to actually listen! I’m still lurking especially on the IF ladies and have my fx for good news for everyone!

Baby has been noticeably moving and kicking since last week. For awhile, it was the thought that it would freak me out but it doesn't. Each time, it's so F*ng exciting. This still doesn't feel real. It really does not. Most of my time right now is being spent working really hard on mental health and making preparations. I'm really looking forward to his birthday!

I have a SCH that’s been a jerk this whole pregnancy. It was pretty severe at the beginning, though is gradually shrinking. Feeling baby boy move so much is weird, a bit disturbing, and also reassuring. I knew I’d have all the feelings PGAL/PGIF but it’s been a ride. Even so, some of them have really surprised me. I’m taking them as they come, allowing them space to breathe.

There are so many on this thread that make my heart happy! @rallykat14 & @blackhottamales & @beachbunnyxo123 😭💜

*Which birth month board/due date? March 27, but the little stinker had to be evicted! We were induced Apr 4 and he was born early afternoon on the 5th.

Having a baby and a 4 year old has my head spinning, but in the best way possible. I’m still trying to get on here as much as possible and stalk the IF thread to see how you ladies are doing. That thread absolutely kept me sane during the entire process.
As always, I have everything crossed for the grad thread to blow up week after week. And I’m always a PM away for anyone going through IUIs or IVF.
