@megmac2010 fingers crossed for you. I had IVF too and that's exactly when I had the same bleeding and they said I had a subchorionic hemorrhage. They checked on baby and everything was fine. The bleeding stopped completely within 24 hours and no more recurrences. I read some articles and my hematologist confirmed SCH are more common in women with IVF, which I wish my fertility specialist had mentioned... I hope all turns out well like it did for me ❤
I went in for a blood draw yesterday when the bleeding started. It came back good, over 20,000. Going back in on Monday for a repeat. This is going to be a loooooong weekend.
I have had a very scary start. At 5.4 I started with pink spotting then by the next day it was full on bleeding. I have had 3 MC so assumed the worst and cancelled an early ultrasound I had at 7 weeks. But after a few days I still had no cramping just medium bleeding so I called to get an early ultrasound to see what was going on. Turned out my little sticky was fine but there is a lot of blood in my uterus so I was given the diagnosis of a threatened MC. That was on 3/28 and today it has finally slowed down and is only pink. I hope when I go for a recheck on Thursday all is still well and I’m done bleeding. Any bleeding or spotting is so scary. I hope everyone gets positive results. But man is the waiting and limbo period so hard.
Glad to hear @JocelynMH14 ! I started spotting a bit tonight after a BM and a walk, I felt a small gush and saw some everytime I wiped. I've been lying down for a few hours and went and checked again and it's brown now and way lighter. Hoping that goes away!!
@swedishmeatball some spotting can be very normal. Brown is always a good color. It means it's old blood. I would just drink as much water as you can to stay hydrated and rest as much as possible.
I had some spotting when I wiped with DD2. I only had it one time and never saw it again.
I'm glad it has stopped. Spotting can be so scary. Hugs!
@emeraldcity1214 Thank you for that! Also called the nurse hotline and they said not to worry at that point. Hopefully that doesn't happen again, I can't handle the stress!!
@Kaydub7 That's awesome news!! That's all that matters! I did so much googling last night when I started spotting and can't believe how much women spot from week 5-10! Sometimes the whole time in the first trimester. Not fun! But so glad you have seen your little bean!
No they didn’t say anything. Honestly it was so fast and the doctor that came in was very rude. I actually emailed my midwife today to ask if that was in the report.
I understand that worrying is so hard not to do but try and stay positive. I have been spotting and bleeding off and on for 9 days. When is your next check?
Of course as soon as I write my post, I started having bright red bleeding which I haven’t had for 2 weeks. It’s stopping now but I am worried sick all over again.
Had some more spotting today and I'm so jumpy after the good amount of bleeding I had on 3/18 for my SCH. It was definitely pink spotting when i went to the bathroom. My stomach sank...I didn't want another SCH. My office couldn't get me in today and I have instructions to go to the ER if the bleeding picks up and I have an ultrasound for noon tomorrow (I already had another follow up scheduled for 8 weeks on Wednesday) for peace of mind. They didn't seem concerned at all - especially when (sorry if it's TMI!) I told them I had a large bowel movement a few hours prior to the spotting. It does seem to have slowed down, thank god! Now it's just old blood spotting. Still keeping my fingers crossed. I hate this...it is SO DRAINING!
@emeraldcity1214 I hope not too... they just checked me last Wednesday and said there were no signs of another one, but if it happened again, then I guess I will just have to accept it! Staying hopeful.
@musicgal05 thanks for checking in! I had a beta draw yesterday and it came back at 31000. So it’s still going up! I have an ultrasound scheduled on Friday, so I’m all butterflies until then. But the morning sickness has hit hard so I’m fairly confident I’m still pregnant.
@JocelynMH14 I’m going to see my doctor on Thursday and hope she will send me for another ultrasound. I wish I could have an ultrasound every day just to see what’s going on in there
@Kaydub7 if I can just make it to 8 weeks I will start using my Doppler and hope for the best. I go have an Ultrasound Thursday to see if my little heartbeat is holding on.. my spotting has turned like watered down brown so hope that’s a good sign. Let me know how your appointment goes!!

So sorry to all the ladies who had a loss. It’s almost 2 years since my miscarriage and my husband and I have been trying since. We are finally pregnant! Of course I freaked when I started to have tannish pink discharge this morning. Our RE is not concerned and said just to watch it and rest. But man does it have me worried!! I go Wednesday for my ultrasound and we are praying all is well with our little miracle!
Having some bleeding today. Wiped and saw some brown and then wiped some more and had red. Hoping I just irritated my cervix somehow. I’m so paranoid this pregnancy and it’s my 3rd. Hoping it’s nothing 🤞🏻

Trying not to worry about the dating because the heartbeat was good and strong! Although I am of course still worrying...
