FFFC w/o 3/29

I am in all day training, and have no intention of paying attention.
Please make it good this week.

  • @EmilyA724 that is a very good choice. Ours are across the street from eachother as well and that has crossed my mind several times.

  • @dogmomma096 the first time I met MIL, we took her wine tasting. I had chocolate cake for breakfast that day because thats all that was in my house. I had WAY TOO MUCH and was feeling sick on the way home (in my defense, I was in the back of the car on a windy road and I get car sick). Well, about 20 minutes into the 45 minute drive, I puked. Yeah...I'm sure that left a great first impression! DH and I had only been dating for about 4 months at that point...I'm lucky he overlooked the little incident!
    DD1 5/23/14, DD2 12/5/16   Baby #3 on the way!

  • @sourlemon the first time I met my MIL she was still in rehab. I didn't even know she was a drug addict. Lol.
  • @suzycupcake thank you! ❤️
And to everyone else for the love
  • @chillycanadian I’m in your boat, too. I am still pretty resistant to making plans for when baby comes vs if baby comes. We have this, though 💜
  • @chillycanadian - I'm right there with you. I *just* bought a set of onesies and two outfits that loosely match a few of DD1's ... and I had this moment of dread like "I just cursed this!" I don't think it ever goes away until you have that soft squish in your arms - and then the new worries start. Just one day at a time <3

FFMC: I meant to do this stupid annual training this weekend for work. This week is super busy and I have zero time for it ... but I didn't do it and No Ragrets. Honestly, I think I'll start it now just so I can have it done with AND have a decent excuse to delay actually working today.
    **History in Spoiler**

       FET#1 - 10/15 - 1 emb - BFP (DD 07/16) (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
       FET#2 - 07/17 - 1 emb - BFN (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
       FET#3 - 08/17 - 1 emb - BFN (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
FET#4 - 10/17 - 2 emb - BFN (changed to estrace + prometrium because of allergic reaction to PIO sesame oil)
    ERA Testing - 12/17 - window moved (-1 day)
       FET#5 - 03/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
    Karyotype Testing - 04/18 - Negative (we're ok)
       FET#6 - 06/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
       FET#7 - 10/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
FET#8 - 11/18 - 2 emb - BFP; looks like one baby is going to make it, DD is due 8/16 (though likely to be 8/9)

  • I had no idea roses didn't like to be in pots.  DH got me a rose in a bag 9 years ago for our first Valentines day.  I've had it in a pot ever since then. I've changed the soil 2 or 3 times, I never fertilize it.  It looks like shit. I just re potted it and gave it new soil.  Our 10 year anniversary is today so we bought another rose yesterday.  The professionals said roses hate to be in pots. Now I feel horribly guilty about this poor plant that has been essentially tortured and starved for 9 years and somehow hasn't died. I'm planning to plant them both in the ground now after we built something to keep the deer and goats away from them.  But my guilt hasn't subsided.
  • @wabash15 thank for that!  There have definitely been a couple of times lately that I’ve thought, crap—I’m too old to have my life turned upside down.  Then immediately felt guilty after everything we’ve been through.
