I'm still collapsing into bed pretty early these days (last night I was in bed by 8) and today I am struggling to keep my eyes open, but I'm not sure if I should be blaming that on the baby or my toddlers, probably a little of both.
Oh I'm still gagging at any cleaning supply smells. My husband did the dishes the other night, and I had to go into the kitchen an hour afterwards and it smelled like dish soap and I gagged so bad I couldn't get my daughter the milk she wanted.
I also am now consistenty up once a night to go pee. missed that..
I know the baby is still little, but tossing and turning during the night, I'm starting to feel the heft of my baby belly.

I'm still more tired than normal, too, @mrosek91. My sex drive (which completely vanished for the entire first tri) is back and DH is probably a little too excited, lol. Still can't eat chicken.
eta - I forgot to add the symptom that freaked me out the most. I started leaking colostrum last night. I hadn't done any research on this, I just always assumed that started WAY later than early second tri.
Up 2-3 times per night to pee. And it's pretty much a constant sensation of having to pee throughout the day. Yesterday at my 16w checkup, when the doctor was trying to find the heartbeat, she had the doppler pressed down into my pubic bone before she could find it! She said the baby is sitting waaaay down as close as possible to my bladder, which explains the discomfort!
Also still exhausted. I think part of it is DH is working nights so I'm doing every morning and bedtime with DD, which is just a lot of parenting, but I'm in bed by 8:30 or 9 every night and sleeping for 9.5 hours.
Also, my feet have been falling asleep easily. I asked the doctor and she said it was normal, but it sure is annoying.

@peachy0709 When did it start this time, for you? Is yours enough to need breast pads or anything? Mine is super light, just weirds me out, TBH, and now MH is scared to touch them
I am SO thirsty. I drink a ton of water all day. I remember this last time and being worried that it meant GD (I didn't have it) so I'm hoping it's just a random pregnancy symptom again.
I’m glad to have my energy back. Morning sickness subsided, so I switched to a prenatal vitamin with iron (I’m supposed to be taking TWO with twins, I’m doing one with iron and one without right now), but the iron is definitely making me nauseous. So no way will I be doubling up on the iron unless I actually become anemic. Oh, and I’m insanely ragey and hormonal. So that’s fun.
I have developed some serious germ phobia but only people related. My animals or the outdoor are no problem. I can't touch door knobs or someones dirty dish or clothes. I have to wash my hands immediately. I hold my breath in certain parts of the house. I stocked up on cleaning supplies so I feel better.
I'm swelling like crazy already. It's so bad that my watch gets too tight on the mornings and my wedding ring, which was resized large a few months ago, is getting too tight to remove. And I'm wearing a wrist brace on my right arm due to carpel tunnel at night.
@sourlemon I officially removed my wedding ring 2 days ago. I made the mistake of waiting too long my first pregnancy and almost ended up in the ER to get it cut off (tip if anyone gets that far - Windex - spray it all over your finger. It was about the 15th trick I tried and the only one that worked). I bought a uber cheap band from target and will wear that for the remainder of my pregnancy.
@oklahomak I started leaking colostrum at around 30 weeks the first time. I either needed to wear a bit of a padded bra or put a tissue in my bra (lol I felt like a preteen girl, not that I ever acidity did that myself). I didn't need actual breast pads. This time around im nursing my son, but I can see the milk changing from pure white to a tint of yellow. Apparently colostrum production starts as early as 15/16 weeks.
Welcome symptoms: bump and baby kicks Unwelcome symptoms: constant urge to pee, hip pain at night,

@mkrel I am having the same thing happen! I am so, so thirsty! I hadn’t looked into it much, so I don’t realize that is may be a sign of GD. I just figured maybe it was how this pregnancy was going to go and water was my main craving!!
My first trimester was almost symptom-less, which means that naturally the second trimester has had quite a few. Itchy boobs/belly, weird nerve pain in my left leg when I lie in a certain position, shortness of breath (I have pretty bad asthma so that doesn't help) and I am still extremely emotional. Still thankful I do not have the nausea though!
I’ve started to notice slight swelling in my hands and feet, mostly in the afternoons, the last week or so. It’s not too bad (yet), but I can definitely feel my skin is tighter, especially in my hands. It seems so early to have this issue, but everything else is happening early this go round, so I’m not really surprised.
Obviously pushing water and limiting salt will help. Any other suggestions? My next appointment is the 25th, so I’ll definitely mention it then. It could also be the heat as it was pushing 80 here today. Yeah summer 🙄🙄.
@thirdtimesacharm2019 exercise and sleeping with feet propped on a pillow helps some. ANd elevate both feet and hands throughout the day if possible. No way to tame the swelling beast completely though
I just have round ligament twinges and I look like I ate enough for a family of 8. Also ITCHY. I'm sure its the skin stretching but it feels good to scratch it lol
@heml I’ve been having left sided SI joint/lower back pain for almost a month already! I had the same thing but right sided with my last pregnancy but it didn’t start until late 2nd Teri. So crazy that it’s this early! Idk how you feel about chiropractic care but I’ve started going again and it’s realky helped already
Felt her kick with my hand on the outside in the night. Next goal - have DH and DS feel her!

Had my very first leg cramp (in years) last night... it was horrendous! I saw it in the “What to expect” book months ago and have been dreading it more than hemorrhoids. It didn’t help that the thought of - dang I bet labor is far worse than this, crossed my mind
@becks68 as someone who regularly gets leg cramps even when not pregnant, the best thing to do is walk. It's hard but I find if I push myself to walk they go away very quickly. Also, as someone who has done an unmedicated birth twice labor pain is weird. There are time since where I've had painful experiences like leg cramps or a stubbed toe, and I think I've survived labor, why is this so painful? But our bodies are amazing things, and we somehow have the capacity to manage the pain we need to manage. Also, when you're going through labor pain you know you have that goal of it will all be over and you'll be holding a baby.
I've reached the point where I need to not eat my normal portion sizes small, frequent eating instead. Boo.

I'm having terrible SI pain. All afternoon yesterday, through the night which was terrible. I could barely sleep. It's radiating down my leg. And on top of it I've got the RLP going. And technically not allowed to stretch since I'm on bed rest. I put on tight yoga pants today, which seems counterintuitive, but it did help relieve some of the pain for a while. (Apparently the support helps with the pain.) But now it seems to have stopped being effective. On the plus side, this is day 14 without spotting!
@agpandme +1 for obsessed with husband. I woke up in the middle of the night over the weekend and woke him up to tell him that I love him so much.
RLP, heartburn, headaches, insanely high libido, and stoner level laughing without the weed (IJS--this might come in handy during my birthing time). Gravity has started to shift from his weight and it seems like I've felt him move a few times, but not certain.

Does anyone else have a constantly stuffed up nose with some bleeding? Not nosebleeds, just some blood from time to time.
Last night, there was a lot of discomfort after dinner. I grabbed my belly saying baby, what are you doing in there? I swear I felt him stomp down on the bottom of my uterus. It’s the first time I’ve felt a kick.

@suzycupcake YES. I've had a persistent but VERY minor N/T congestion of some sort with about 3 random blood spotting in my nose. Whatever it is was enough to show up on my most recently blood work and my doctor commented on it asking if I was sick. Its really nothing but annoying.
A few weeks ago now I think it was or maybe two weeks, I had like a 2 weeks upper respiratory virus. It ran its course on its own. (ETA which normally I never get sick and never for anywhere near that long yay pregnancy!)
I thought that maybe this could be a sinus infection (a complication of URIs) but it doesn’t seem like any sinus infection I’ve ever had and then we read that this can happen in second tri. Glad I’m not the only one. My next prenatal is Tuesday. My husband says we should ask her what she thinks.

I've heard it's because theres so much more blood in our bodies - vessels expand and there's just not much room in the nose for expansion so swelling/congestion/bleeding can occur. Still mention it, but I think it's a normal pregnancy thing, within reason.
